haha yeah i know. the reason im doing it this way is

a) its a hassle to deposit any kind of large sum
b) Ive made my money online through HU Cash, tournaments, and 9 man turbo SNGs. not 6 max cash. So I guess I have to learn 6 max cash properly?
c) If Im not at atleast 50NL by the time september rolls around, i will just deposit some of my live roll

2k is not a large sum, it can be deposited on ftp withing 2 weeks withoug increasing your limits. also you have time to grind now but will be busier after summer is over. obv it is your money and life etc do what you want just my opinion.

Dude, that's a horrible double barrel. When he calls flop he usually has an ace or a FD, and it turns out he doesn't even fold Jx.

Overall, it's quite obvious u come from a HU background, cuz ur overplaying all ur hands. 25nl regs are extremely abc and don't go for thin value, and they dont BLUFF! So from one midstakes player to another, you need to ADAPT to who you're playing aginst. Don't make smart bluffs and expect these ******s to understand.

Yeah im new to online 6 max games. Online im a SNG/Tourney player that knows SS strategy and shoving/calling ranges well as well as HU cash. Live I play fullring 5/10+, which I literally have a vpip of like 40%+ and a AF of 100 haha but its ok since live players are bad/passive.

Im awful, I used my entire time bank on the river. Didnt have HUD cuz im not playing on my normal computer but the guy was russian and very aggressive

On the river I was thinking that his value range is soooooo slim here since he slows down with 10x, Ax, QQ, and JJ. So basically he is only value betting a set of Aces, Kings, Tens, or AK. But he also has a lot of 3b random crap bluffs. But after thinking about it a little more, its really a terrible call on the river... especially since he rarely has stuff like J9, 98, 97, 96 and etc since i have 2 of em, i cant beat 53 (although I dont think he 3barrels this board). But basically, his bluffing range is a lot narrower than i initially thought mostly because of having A,3,5 on the board.

So im just a station.period.

Most regs on NL25 have soooo little bluffs in their ranges on turn and river, so without really obvious spot its best to let go most of the time. I don't think they'll go like "I'm gonna walk over this guy since hes folding so much or something" So you should be the one really walking all over these guys if you just use your skillset and start folding more and picking opponents to bluff more carefully.

Some fish you just can't get to fold any pocket pairs lol, its so tilting when you make a othervice well thought out bluff and they call you all the way down, but nothing more rewarding than value betting your TPTK and they call you every street with absolute garbage! Just think about what kinda things make you win money against what kind of players.

I'm aware that this is probably so obvious to you, but gonna post anyway.
Love to follow this btw. GL!

I keep grinding it up playing like an hour or two here and there over 2-3 days to ~$700 and then lose 100-200 in one session and start back at $500 haha Its pretty fun.

Ok so no more rush, its stupid. Its just good for rakeback, which should be pretty decent this week.

Im just gunna 2 table regular 6 max games and get up to 100nl asap.

Roll is at $632.79

Hopefully after I finish grinding it up again (for like the 3rd time now?) I wont dump it all in one session.

Ive decided to tighten up a bit and adjust my game a lil. instead of 3b a ridiculous high % IP (I 3bet from the blinds less than most would think), it was something like 15%. Ive toned it down a little and im going to shoot for 8-11%ish. I also tend to play a VPIP of over 30 and a PFR of high 20s, low 30s. Going to slow down a bit and play mid 20s in each. Tightening up my range preflop is the main adjustment im making, im used to HU where I play 80%+ hands. Post flop hasnt change much, still owning souls IP and bluffing quite a bit.

Noticed that after todays session that my blue line was actually a little higher than my red! (first time ever) and both were positive :O

Cool little hand, He never has a jack because most people raise the turn and plus by the river there is just 1 jack left. There are only 3 combos of queens but a kajillion combos of Straight draws AK, A10, 910, 89, K10, etc. Even though it seems pretty standard to bet bet check call on this board im pretty proud of it because i played it perfectly vs his hand if i was able to see his cards (what ur ultimately trying to do by putting ppl on ranges and combos).

Hmmm this one im not sure, on the turn all three options are ok. I can fold because I know that the turn was a terrible barrel card and if he knows that then he only bets that turn card if he has TP or better. But i suck at folding so probably not doing that. My initial reaction was just to flat and then call all safe rivers that way I keep bluffs in his range. But after thinking about it, there are so many sh*tty rivers, A, Q, club, 10, 8. that if im going to fold on alot of rivers I might as well fold the turn. So i decided to shove river to "protect" and if has AJ or better then so be it. Marginal spot, not sure which is the best option but w/e

Decided to flat so I can keep bluffs in his range and allow him to value town himself with Kx, plus i dunno wtf a min raise means these days. Turn easy call since i have the Ac as well. If he shoved river I think I probably would of folded but he checked and at that point he never has a flush and the majority of his range are Kx so shoving for value is ok. Afterwards in chat he typed " why did i check? and I dont think you got there either"

roll is $637, interesting session.... the last two hands with the set of jacks and A5 plus this little bluff put me down 2.5 buyins quick but i slowly built it back up to only down just under a buyin (-$21). yay for red line.
