Update for 28th of February

Worked with fellow reg 2 hours + 1 hour doing by myself HH review
Grinded online CG 2 hours
Watched Banshee
Watched Partizan game (0-0 vs team from my town)
Meet with best friend for coffee
Scheduled coaching session with Darko tomorrow

Not very productive day.
Reason for it is simple. Through out the whole day and even as I write this I have huge headache. I am not sure why that is but basically whole day I am not in my A game and mindset. Woke up more tired and with less energy then in really long time.
I hope I am not getting sick!!!

Work with fellow reg was very productive. Glad he enjoyed it a lot as did I !
1 additional hour I went through assignment that my coach gave me. Found some interesting spots + wrote out tons of combos for flop turn rivers which helps me for future games/hands.

Grinding was a bit brutal but mostly due to the fact that people are calling down river shove with 1010 on J5675dddsc run out CO vs SB and things like that. Not to mention that QQ+ to them is like a wholly grail and are never folding it on super wet boards on river.
Really can't wait to move up from NL25, this is really torturing me mentally - pulling on right plays and getting called off with things better players are always folding. With that said, I will push myself with SNG grind so that I can gather that roll for NL50+ ASAP. I see myself staying on NL25 for 2 months more maximum, after that I feel I will go insane. NL50 was way more fun and challenging even tough I saw bad river call downs there (via HH review lately) but still opponents are better on average more aggressive bluff more so bluff catching wider pays off.

Tomorrow I shall start a March challenge for studying, grinding and coaching sessions.
Speaking of coaching sessions, I have found the best model so far to help my students. Via our private forum they have hand evaluation part + daily tracking threads. They are encouraged to post hands, discuss, ask questions and speak out their mind about anything really in them (I suggest poker related observations, questions, doubts, concepts of course in the 1st place!).
Instead of doing 1 hour of daily coaching, I have focused more on doing videos for all of them(automated coaching from late 2014 remember?) and responding to them daily in their threads. I will still do some 1 on 1 coaching but main emphasis will be on helping them through forum and encouraging them to become 100% independent by providing videos that cover all areas of SNG play from which they need to fill in the gaps with all the knowledge in their heads (using HRC, evaluation forums, building strong thinking process, improving hand reading, playing in focus, learning how to adjust and readjust to any opponent etc) . I am there always to help out but if they intend to become poker pros they need to treat poker like a career or job if you will and go extra mile compared to all the others in the field to stay ahead of the curve. It is and will be very long road for most of the guys but if they maintain their focus, work hard and smart + grind regularly, great things can come out of it. With all this in mind, looking at things now, I will most likely not coach 300 hours this year 1 on 1 but will rather spend even more hours creating videos and responding in their threads on forum.
Also, the way things are looking, I might not be coaching in 2016 SNGs any new people just like I won't be accepting any people in 2015. There is couple of reasons for such decision but I will just list 2 of them 1) It is very time consuming + emotionally draining (as I sincerely care for all my students to make it and due to that I over invest myself going extra mile for them while omitting work on my game and my own improvement!) 2) My expectations with specific timeline in other people have many more times failed then been meet (they all claim that they are doing the work, wanting to do the work and whatever it takes but in reality they have either wasted too much time already or will need a ton more time to make it as poker pros). I hope that remaining 7 guys (including my best friend who is on his own since January and my brother who has now over 5% EV ROI on 7s) will bring back in me will and hope to continue coaching with long term deals but I seriously doubt it. I can maybe see myself in future coaching only for specific hourly per session basis but any sort of long term deal will not consider. With all this being said, I am still open to do 1 on 1 sessions when any of my students requests it in 2015.

The time has come (this year vs last year where I did it more towards the end with challenge!) for me to turn to myself more, work on my own game, improve even more and increase hourly in future games. As I will be doing both formats in 2015, it is essential that I maximize my time management and work maximally on improving in new format + making steady $ in SNGs. I have given it a lot of thought and considering what my life mission and vision is overall + related to poker, I don't see myself continuing to coach under those circumstances in 2016 (this year I want to respect all the current deals I have made with my students). I will be focusing on crushing ZOOM NL100+ in 2016 + coaching others will have to focus with 1) proven winners/grinders/people with super strong study and grind habits 2) people who can pay for sessions.

A bit of coaching rant but I want you all to know that I will be counting towards coaching hours my video recording + responses on private forum to all my students as there won't be 256.5 hours of 1 on 1 coaching in next 300 days for sure!

Here is the plan for March

- Studying CG minimum 45 hours
- Grinding online CG 60 hours
- Grinding SNGs 2000 games (100+ hours)
- 12 hours of CG coaching
- Coaching 30 hours minimum (1 on 1 sessions, video recording + daily tracking threads)

Total of 160+ hours of grinding, 45 hours of studying, 12 hours getting coaching for CG + 30 hours coaching SNGs. That brings total activities of 252 hours. Considering that I will be in Belgrade 2 days around 14th of March (friends birthday) and do way less things on those days + perform Jazz gig around 13th of March, it is safe to say that all of this brings about 9 hours of daily activities on average.
GL to me and thanks for following!

Day 1

Coached Darko 1 hour
Worked on the game with fellow reg 1.5 hour
Grinded online CG 2 hours
Grinded 100 SNGs (5.6 hours!)

Total 10.1 hours

Excellent start to the March Challenge.
CG grind went not so great as I am not happy with 1 call in particular that I made for whole stack.
SNGs easy game just take way too long to play while 15 tabling. It will take me some days to get back into rhythm but definitely feel very superior vs rest of competition on 15s. Pretty much crushed it tonight.

Quite busy and productive day.
Will list some interesting things and observations!

Working on the game with fellow reg was awesome as we did 1.5 hour 1 single hand in CREV. Hand was assigned by my coach in our coaching session today. We figured out so many great information based on different expectation in that hand. Also the fact that we did that today helped me with actual grinding today as I had spots like that one but this time I was 100% sure what line would be most +EV vs what type of expectation. Remaining 0.5 of working on the game happened when I sent my reg friend hands over skype from today's grind (late afternoon) and we discussed couple of great bluff catches, 1 debatable call I made and situations like the one analyzed today. Overall super productive studying and tomorrow we will have to study in the afternoon/evening, have no idea how that will fit with my SNGs but I am definitely prioritizing studying CG!

Grinding CG went great as I decided to take a shot at NL50 after coaching session 1.5 hours + working with the fellow reg 1.5 hours. 2 hours of grinding, made 2 buy ins pre RB. Really good result, could have been better if I didn't loose BTN vs SB AKo vs JJ for full stack but that is super standard spot of course. Post flop I feel was much better, definitely more controlled. I feel I did great with adjusting and making bluff catches in couple of hands that resulted in this whole profit. My red line was in -2 buy ins which is weird but my showdown winnings were through the roof with my value betting and bluff catching today. Super satisfied and happy about it. Will continue taking shot on NL50 with stop loss combined for my SNG roll of 5 buy ins for NL50. If I manage to swing those 5 buy ins I will go back to NL25. If I continue crushing SNGs (variance follows) then I will have no problem staying on NL50 and grinding it full time.

Coaching session, excellent as always. We took some time to talk about concepts that we can and will focus through out the whole year. Coach cleared some very important spot for me for which I am super grateful to him. This kind of spot is a leak that I am sure appears all the way into higher stakes like even NL200+ guys. So I will work to apply it daily in my grinding and try not to repeat that tactical mistake. Overall super useful session in next one we will focus on something i have been waiting for a long time - favorite area of mine! Can't say what it is as other regs might exploit me with it but yes it is something that really gets me going in poker and CG overall!

Grinded only 50 SNGs today as I started my grind at 11! I am still on track for 2k games this month but I will definitely continue with 100 games on days when life activities don't overlap with my time management. Happy how I played, session started brutal variance wise, after that my stronger hands held up vs bad and weak ranges mostly and profit was inevitable. Crushed HU, now doing it even more so thanks to my CG studying past 2.5 months!

Total 7.11 hours of Poker related activities.

Quite busy day today, tons of activities.
Theme of the day today was coaching! Session with Kornel was 1.5 hours, 1 hour with my brother and video recording 0.5 hour, 3 hours total. Video I recorded is brutal, I have never seen such content for SNGs and the idea of it is to get all my students to realize where most edges lie in today's and future games in SNGs and work on it fanatically. Great stuff!

CG grinding didn't go as well. Took a shot at NL50 again today with stop loss. After 1st session (1 hour) was up close to 2 buy ins pre RB and then in next 2 sessions I lost 8 buy ins! There were setups but also plays on my part that will rarely work on NL25-50 or even NL200. Again projection bias leak, expecting regs to fold hands that I would snap fold in those spots but they never do or simply doing great play but running into top sets or top of the range. In future days will go back to NL25 keep grinding it and once I improve my winnings in SNGs by 300$+ , I will take a shot at NL50 with stop loss of 5-6 buy ins again.
Swings and mental grind that is what this doing to me.

Had drinks with female friend, was surprised that it lasted that long. We talked a lot and had fun. Didn't ever thin that she would be able to hold my attention in conversation but her conversation skills are excellent and the way she was building up stories and connecting them was just great. Fun times definitely but that put me away from SNG grind for sure today.

NO SNGs. No problem, lots of time to do 2k games for the whole month!

Very productive day despite internet problems in the evening.
My SNG grind could not happen but this time it was all about internet problem. For 2 hours straight there was a problem with signal that kept breaking up constantly. This is one huge draw back to living here in this part of my town and in this apartment. I swear that I haven't meet a person who has such bad luck with internet or electronic devices like I do here. Times like these make me miss Gevgelija where I didn't have a single problem with internet or even Herceg Novi (even better) where I definitely see myself in the future.

CG grind was interesting to say the least. I took a shot at NL100 towards the end of the night and lost KK to AA vs spewy reg from NL50 but managed to decrease losses to half buy in there only (on low sample). NL50 was brutal I feel with tons of setups (including KK on AA of course but I also had some (maybe 2-3-4, will check tomorrow) river bets that could have gone better (either sizing issue or not narrowing opponents range enough where I could have saved money). Overall there were tons of setups in March and I have very strong faith about my game improving and being ready to grind NL50 full time very soon.
I will continue doing NL50 with 3 more buy ins stop loss that is if with SNGs my roll doesn't decrease. If I turn some losses on SNGs I will drop down NL50 immediately and settle with NL25 while rebuilding (as initially planed). On the other hand if SNG winnings keep going up I will continue with NL50. Tomorrow I have 2nd coaching session since start of the deal with my coach and I look forward to the session and his advices.

Working on the game with fellow reg was great. We worked in the morning 1.5 hours and evening 1.5 hours. Lots of hands reviewed, combo counting, discussing different lines and where and how those would or wouldn't work. As usual super useful and already look forward to tomorrows sesion!
I studied on my own by watching video and taking notes + reviewing portion of hands with specific filter before fellow reg joined me.

Coaching was with Jernej and my brother. With Jernej I went over specific filter and session went really well. With my brother we covered new game plan due to ante introduction, how to adjust and readjust in future games. Felt that both sessions went well and that they both will have a lot to learn from them and apply the knowledge in future games.

I could write about guitar teaching but I know you are mostly interested in poker part of activities so will stop with the days update there

Another fantastic and productive day.
Working with the fellow reg happened 1st thing in the morning and in the late night. We went over hands in the morning and talked about my favorite concept that I covered with my coach in our session yesterday. We found some very interesting things while analyzing certain hands, definitely eye opener type of experience. Evening session was when he joined me in my last 1 out of 1.5 hours of grinding 3 tables of NL50 ZOOM and 1 table of NL100 ZOOM. Unfortunately that didn't go so well, dropped down 600$ in that time but hopefully it was useful for my friend to see that our thinking process and level of play is ready for this limit. Additional 1.5 hour of working on the game happened after my grinding. I went ahead and checked my lost hands and started writting in depth thinking process for each hand that I wanted to double check and see where my thinking process was at in that spot. I will continue to do this until next session with my coach which is on Monday when I plan to submit him notepad document with all the BAD PLAYS and BAD BEATS from todays grind, especially with focus on river plays (as that always seems to hunt me down in my game plan - expecting and giving opponent respect like they are with thinking process on NL500+ when in fact they are not balanced and have usually way less bluffs vs value combos in certain spots that I need to STILL adjust to!).

Grinding was excellent. Despite that in the end of the day results were -94.36$, I am very happy that I took a shot again at NL100 and did very well there. Also I feel that I have proved to myself that I can definitely play beat NL50 despite the different tendencies on river. I will definitely in the future look to stay on NL50 and not move back to NL25 - only if I have to due to roll limitations. Speaking of which, I have 6 more buy ins stop loss set before I will move down to NL25 or if things with

SNGs variance wise kick in bad I will go down again (if I drop 20 buy ins). So this is the way things are currently. I am happy about the fact that I have to be moving up and down constantly due to current family financial sitaution? Absolutely not but I am perfectly happy with how my improvement as poker player is going this year and how much I have already improved. I am 100% positive that I will be beating NL100 ZOOM with 3bb/100 by 3 tabling and making that 36$+ hourly in the process. Also feel that my current knowledge is already ready to play this limit with minimum BE expectations but due to limited BR I just have to settle and tell myself to be patient rebuild roll and then go for it full time. If I could choose 1 wish for by the end of the years to come true it would be to move up to NL100 and crush it ASAP and in the process make great $ for life roll and my family.

Coaching wise, gave some long and useful responses to my students in forum + helped my brother with game plan change (with ante introduction) and explained to my best friend certain thinking process for hands he asked. Very productive stuff.

Watched fellow reg grind NL100 ZOOM for 0.5 hour. Manage in that time to see 4-5 interesting spots from which I would have played 3 of them differently. So glad that reg is open for discussion and cooperation, he took my lines with good heart and he doesn't have ego problems obviously when he can take things that way. He also agreed that he would play 2 out of 3 lines the way I wrote to him so that shoved me that I was right there with guy who beats NL100 ZOOM with my thinking process. It means a lot to me getting support and praise from people who are actually in 2015 doing the things I want to be doing and are successful at it! Fellow reg expressed that he would like us to work together on some HH reviews or sweats even. I am open always for cooperation and I feel that at my current stage the more studying that I do the better it will be for me to synch all the spots that I might be unsure in + unconcious competence to kick in much sooner than later for me to print $ in CG.

Look forward to this new friendship and mutual improvement also!

SNG grind didn't happen tonight. I was planing after 4+ hours of CG to go for SNGs but I just felt like doing CG more. It is quite simple really. I enjoy now CG way more than SNGs. SNGs for me are no challenge anymore, they are solved in terms of my expectations in them and level of play I see from players. There is no room for me to improve there anymore as a overall player and financially speaking hourly vs CG will be impossible to improve. Already at NL50 3 tabling with decent win rate I will make up the hourly for 15s 6 max, so of course that I plan and want to really hard switch to CGs ASAP. I will of course try to go for around 1.5k SNGs minimum this month but CG is and definitely will be priority as I see myself in it long term.

Day 7

Worked on the game with fellow reg 1 hour + reviewed 1 hour hands on my own (total 2 hours)
Grinded online CG 5.7 hours
Went with best friend for coffee
Watched Partizan vs Donji Srem game
Watched in between grinding Alleigence

Total of 7.7 hours of Poker activity today.

Semi productive day considering only 7-8 vs 9+ hours I have been putting in.
It all started with going to bed at 5am last night, waking up around 10:20 then sleeping for 40ish minutes more and then getting to work with fellow reg right away.
We worked together 1 hour as he had to finish his other life obligations, but we reviewed some lost hands from last night. We found standard spots where I got bad beated but also some missed spots for bluffing. My working on the game was looking into those lost hands and I have to say that I did find some leaks again on river but I found brutal bad beats really that would probably make people quit poker like right away

Grinding was just brutal. I don't remember last time I had such a brutal setup day, besides yeseterday. Today I lost about 400$, 200$ on each NL50 and NL100. On NL50 there were tons of setups (JJvsQQ,KKvsAA,lossing with 77 vs K9 on K97Kx after flop went x/r on my end etc) and for NL100 was even bigger joke. I will post 1 hand just for laughs along with graphs for the day of course. I also reloaded my Stars account with additional 500 euro. I will clear 40k FPPs tomorrow and will consider buying that 600$ bonus right away to lower variance.

In general, again I felt that my game for NL100 is not far away from 3bb/100, would say it is BE at worst at this point of what I have seen so far. I am putting opponents on ranges very well and I feel that I am really close to making this switch there within 2 months tops from today(my wish, hope towards which my action steps are leading into). In the meanwhile NL50 is just full of bad river call tendencies that kinda remind me of live poker type of calls which I am just like laughing at. NL25 is far easier and more exploitable vs NL50 and NL100 but NL100 is the closest to poker level that I want to be playing at really - without sunding too judgmental to anybody playing lower than NL100!
I will also consider if dropping $ happens in future more to just step it on like crazy on SNGs for a month or two and really just do 1 hour of CG grinding + reviewing while I rebuild roll and make like 3-4k$. With this money I can buy myself some additional time with life expenses + shot taking at NL100 while playing NL50 steady.
Tomorrow I will most likely do just SNGs since I left them behind in this week so far and from Monday I will make a decision with my coach wether or not to do NL25 before I rebuild (which I feel is the safest option now considering how big swings can catch me on NL50 and NL100) or to stay on NL50 with my level of play. Will update the blog with decision on Monday of course but my decision right now due to roll restrictions will be to drop down to NL25 and play for a week and rebuild roll with more emphasis on SNGs as well in the next week!

Day 8

Spent time with family
Worked on the game 4 hours (1.5 hours with reg and 1.5 last night before bed and 1 hour after family time)
Grinded online CG 3.5 hours
Had a coffee with best friend
Had a 2.5 hour afternoon nap (7-9:30pm)
Responded to daily tracking threads + uploaded 2 videos for students and tables 1 hour

Total 8.5 hours of Poker activity.

Another productive day
Time with family was much needed for different perspective. It made me realize even harder situation we are in and how much I need to find even more streght to push forward through these hard times.

Working on the game was very brutal. 1.5 hours with reg was sweat session 4 tabling 3xNL50 and 1xNL25. When I cleared 40kFPP bonus I took a shot at NL100 which didn't go as planed but also made some light river bluff catches.
Reviewed hands and marked total of 29 hands for session with coach!!! Also recorded 1 hour sweat for us to cover on Thursday. Session was $ and there were some interesting spots that I look forward covering. I think in that session I played close to my B+ CG 4 tabling ZOOM.
Towards the end of todays grind I made some bad calls on river which costed me whole days profit. Was up around 200$ ended up in 40$+ profit. All it takes is 4-5 miss plays and then everything else doesn't matter. CG doesn't allow mistakes like SNG does. I am totally aware of that. I am however making those river calls expecting that opponents will bluff me more than they actually do it as I know I would do in those spots.
Typical projection bias leak discussed in blog on many ocassions in past 2 months - still going on!

I do look forward to sessions with coach. Reviewing those hands, writting thinking process really improves my game significantly. My B game is enough to beat NL25 and NL50 for sure. The problem occurs when I make some bluff catch on river or two and they don't work out. It can affect my A B game and drop me down due to financial pressure starting to kick in at that point.
All these things basically point out to very obvious things:
- I need to drop to NL25 in order not to play money scared
- I need to continue with SNG grind to increase my BR
- Increasing BR will fix those river leaks and improving my IN ZONE playing when I know that I have way more $ for swings that occur
What this means is that despite the fact that I cashed in bonus, I will stay on NL25 in March, play less but review all my hands daily in 2 study sessions while in the evening grinding SNGs (go for 100 per day SNGs for 15 days or so)

For coaching I spent time responding to Daily Tracking threads, Skype and uploading 2 videos + tables for all of them. These videos are great (like all of them - I feel!) so look forward to their feedback and how much of it they will follow up with.

Afternoon nap was much needed cause past days I was always hitting bed at 4am or later , waking up by 10-10:30am. Today I went to bed after 4am and woke up at 9:30! So evening nap was much needed for sure.

Day 9

WORKED OUT
CG Coaching 1.5 hours
Working on the game 2 hours (1 hour with fellow reg + 1 hour on my own)
Coached 1.5 hour Darko
Grinding online CG 2.14 hours
Grinding SNGs 2.6 hours 51 games
Went with best friend for coffee
Watched new Tv show with my brother

Total 9.74 hours of poker activity

Productive day that could have had 1 to 1.5 hour more of activity since I returned to my regular sleeping cycle (3am bed time waking up at 9:30am)
Finally worked out after almost a month of brake since I was sick. Did push ups and squats, already felt way more energized and ready to accomplish more things. Need to get back into it steadily as this current lifestyle with just studying coaching and grinding will lead to bad eating habits and no sport. Working in my mind to find some balance for work outs as well, at least twice per week and then increase it gradually to 3-4 until I get back to daily work outs. I hope that Herceg Novi will happen this summer again, if it does I will be training there every single day, until then I have to deal with what I have at my disposal currently which is doing exercises in my apartment or outside in the school when the weather starts to be sunny and acceptable for such activity
CG coaching went great as usual. In 1.5 hour we went our 11 hands that I previously marked. Some new lines were covered which I taught of doing on my own but wanted to check with coach 1st.
Next session is on Thursday and we will go over live play I recorded 2 days ago where I was 3 tabling NL50 and 1 tabling NL25. Very much look forward to that as it will reveal auto pilot leaks and holes in thinking process. If the session goes well I will use the video to upload it for my students as well so that they can work on figuring out all the lines from the video.
Also addition to our coaching session is the fact that I will open DropBox folder for us where I will post all the marked hands with thinking process and coach will in the meanwhile (between sessions) check them out and respond. Fantastic idea and hope that it will work as it will require tons of time for busy coach outside of things we arranged (2x1.5 hours of coaching per week) to complete it all.

Working with fellow reg lasted 1 hour only and we covered 6 hands total in that time frame. In those hands we found 3 leaks which I wrote down and something that every reg has trouble with regardless the stakes. Our standards are very high therefore we are both perfectionist and want to crush this CG all the way - therefore there is lots of work ahead of us and critique to accept daily.
1 hour I also worked on my own and it was in the evening after my SNG grind. I was going through the lost hands from session and found 2 whole stacks lost with flush multiway; 1st was with 3rd nuts vs 2nd nuts ; 2nd was with 2nd nuts vs nuts. It was impossible to save full stack however river action in 2nd hand and turn action shove could and should have been played differently on my end.
Funny thing is that yesterday despite 4 tabling NL25, getting the volume in, while playing and during review I felt like I was burning money. There were all ins which I won and in the end I was still down 45$ or close to 2 stacks in 1917 hands. Most of the loss came from those flush hands I described but there were also missed or bad 2 barreling - something that I will also work on heavily!

SNG grind took 2.6 hours for 51 games. It didn't provide any challenge at all like I Wrote on numerous ocassions before. With addition to ante players are making even more mistakes now which makes space for higher ROI. Also due to ante now you get to play HU even deeper which is great for me. So overall when I look at it I am super happy with how current situation is in SNGs because even before introduction of ante regs didn't work enough on their leaks and kept grinding like monkeys; now they have to adapt even more but I simply don't see them doing it cause they are lazy and it will take long time to study whole game plan from beginning.
Future on 15s is bright and I would say that 7% is achievable now more than before. Also ante makes games longer simply because HU is played longer despite the fact that people might bust out a bit earlier. I am happy about ante introduction as personally I have no problem adjusting my game plan immediately. It is guys that have fixed game plan, never learned how to adjust it and fail with studying that will have hard time maintaining or increasing their win rates. Also this ante addition might bring some recreational players back at tables. I don't have sample yet to discuss it but my Sharkystrator still takes sround 2.5+ hours for 50 games. I will be very pleased when I get to point of 2 hours for 50 games with table selecting while 15 tabling. Then I could say that recreational players are returning, until then this is still traffic problem which translates into low hourly compared to CG (will write about this in the future).
Overall grind was positive, think about 7% EV ROI ran with 8% ,37.something% ITM , more 1st vs 2nd for about 4%+ etc

Coaching with Darko was great. We talked about things needed to change for complete game plan with ante addition. How not to get exploited, how to exploit others, which areas to focus 1st on, how to do these assignments by himself + working with Jernej and finally we started working with HU. Very useful session, hope Darko got most of it, if not there is a recording which he can always look back and remind himself.

Went with best friend for coffee

Total 7.75 hours of Poker activity.
Another productive day
Will just mention about working on the game and connecting with another CG crusher.
Spent 2 hours doing 4 hands in detail using both Equilab and FlopZilla to help me with range brake down of course but that was not all of course. I basically spent 0.5 hour per hand and it was very brutal experience as during the whole process I wrote for each hand a lot of eye openers in the conclusion part of the hand analysis. The idea is to write down both standard and alternative lines, understand how to play hand vs different opponent types and their tendencies and how certain cards on further streets affect my decisions. Besides this I also looked into what specific hands from both sides of the ranges are good to barrel or call with and how this can be exploited or balanced.
How well studying went today gives me wings and hope for future in CG as I am positive now more than ever that people are rarely going to put this many hours to work on their game and improve - only highly inspired ones who won't accept failure and have clearly defined goals. I will go that far to say that things I am doing now a lot of people on NL100 don't know + am sure there are guys on NL200 ZOOM who are starting or have started doing this fairly recently. So tons of space to improve and become better and I am trying while improving to keep up with the learning curve in today's games required to beat mid stakes and up. Very happy how things are going and obviously look forward to next 9 and half months and then looking back how far I have gone with my improvement.
0.5 extra work was on 1 video that uses a bit different approach then the one I was taught by my coach. Wanted to check out the other approach, see what they are trying to "sell" me with this information and take it back to coach for further discussion. Being exposed to new material can't be a bad thing, on contrary it can just get me to understand things even better and recognize what is more preferable approach in my opinion based on math analysis and from in game experience.

Connecting with CG was just brutal. I sent him message on Skype about video of his that I watched recently and studied, sharing my opinion on it. It turned out great since we had other things in common as well and had a great conversation that lasted easily close to 1.5 hour. I am happy about it obviously and in future we might arrange some collaboration of a sort but more on that when we get to that bridge. For now I can just say that I am happy that I made contact and talked with one of great CG players that even nowdays crushes with high win rates. Look forward to our future collaboration of any sort really! Perhaps one day in the future we may meet in person in USA - which was brought up during todays talk

By the way, I have decided to create another goal that I feel will help me reach my main goal aligned with my mission and vision sooner. It is to do daily minimum 3 hands with full in depth analyses (range brake down pre and post flop, equity calculations, listing out standard and alternative lines, how to adjust vs what type of opponent and to take useful conclusion from every single hand). Today I did 4 hands which took 2 hours, tomorrow I will go for minimum 3 more hands. I plan to upload all these analyzed hands in DropBox folder for my coach. Hopefully by the end of the year I will have 1000 analyzed hands! So this goes into yearly goals starting from today even tough so far since start of the year I have analyzed minimum 50 hands in depth.

Hi Danshiel350,
Sure thing I will respond to your question, just an observation 1st.
Games are now longer with ante not shorter since additional blind level was imported. Also HU is now played deeper, mostly with 30bb+ easily so it gives you even more post flop edge.
In 2015 I had around 6 or 7% ROI (now on laptop, PT4 without complete database is on desktop). In February I grinded about 300-400 SNGs and have 7%+ EV ROI in this low sample of games. I use Sharkystrator and find the games with ante addition even easier. So I think 7% can be achieved pre RB, it just depends on your current skill level, if you are table selecting or not, what your overall goals are (mass multi tabling for some fixed hourly or less tables more focus higher ROI less hourly etc).

Let me know if I can help in any way and hopefully this response hit the spot

Cheers mate. For some reason I knew your answer would be detailed and a good one.

I love the new structure personally. It’s encouraged me to swerve back to STT’s.

I use Sharkystrator and find the games with ante addition even easier.

Never heard of this, I will check it out.

It just depends on your current skill level, if you are table selecting or not, what your overall goals are (mass multi tabling for some fixed hourly or less tables more focus higher ROI less hourly etc).

About the hourly vs win rate thing. I ‘m actually at a bit of a crossroads here. Essentially, my love is for mtt’s but I don’t have time to play them all that often. I see STT’s as a good way to get comfortable playing at relevant stack depths etc. So I don’t really table select I just play when I can and try to learn from it… I do also play cash occasionally and recently HU because it seems a great way to learn (this last part is only a new venture).

Due to my reasons for playing I don’t want to get too bogged down in mastering the ICM specific to this format which I guess caps how much I can win at the 15’s. But at the same time I like the idea of challenging myself more and now there is more postflop it might be ok, and I do have some ICM understanding.

I do have a low sample of 15’s and certainly feel like I can beat them or get pretty close right now, but because my volume is so low (hence rakeback pretty much meaningless) I almost feel like I can make as much per game at $7’s seen as I seem to do pretty good on those.

One thing I thought about was treating STTs as unofficial “Steps” games.

i.e., run it up from $7, and if I ship a $15 I get to play a $55 mtt. That might work with my goals.

Might see you at the tables...

Day 11

Worked out
Worked on the game 2.5 hours (completed 2 hands + watched MBML latest video)
Grinded CG 1.5 hours
Coached best friend + recorded video for my students 3 hours
Went for coffee with best friend
Watched Chelsea game with best friend

Total 7 hours of Poker activities.

Not a very productive day.
Went to bed fairly late last night (5am) and woke up late also (12)! Started working with fellow reg around 1pm, finished after 2pm,worked out then was preparing to meet with best friend around 3pm which lasted until 6pm or so, got home and watched MBMLs latest video + grinded some more, then watched Chelsea game which went to overtime and finally analyzed another hand and recorded a video for my students.

Nothing major to report except that my understanding of the plays I was making today was much more clear and precise thanks to focusing on HHs. I feel this habit will help me very much in the long run as I am understanding a lot more equity changes on turn and river + tendencies on lower limits vs NL100 for example. Time will show but I am very happy with how things are going and am positive I will make the CG switch a permanent one in 2015.

Tomorrow CG coaching at 11am which means I have to go like right now to bed and wake up ready for it with 100% energy and focus. Look forward to us reviewing my live play video. Look forward to it and getting critique for all the bad plays especially to improve and work harder!

Danshiel350 appreciate the quick response!

I like your mixture a lot. CG and HU will help you crush any game format while new SNG structure will be very fun and help with your MTT game as well!
We might see each other at the tables although I have grown to love CG and improving in that area so much that I have dropped down SNG grind severely. That has obvious negative sides like my BR decreasing but worst case scenario I can put CG on a hold and just grind SNGs steady for 2 months to rebuild more. So definitely we might catch each other at the tables.
In the meanwhile I wish you to crush new structure and use them as satelites like you mentioned.

All the best!

Day 14

Coached 2 hours (session with Kornel)
Grinded online CG 3 hours
Worked on the game with fellow reg 2 hours + 1 hour on my own 3 hours total
Watched 2 football games
Had coffee with best friend
Watched Banshee and Allegiance
Played guitar and read more of Robin Sharma's "Leader Without a Title"

Total 8 hours of Poker activity.

Productive day for sure.
Working on the game part was interesting as always. Covered 2 hands with fellow reg in depth. Also on my own watched new W34z3l's video and took notes for it 1 hour in the morning when I woke up.
Grinding didn't go well, about 6 buy ins lost. Tons of setups and running below EV but also 2 spots where I could have played better. Definitely need to keep working hard with fellow reg(s) and improving. It will be long road ahead of me but when I reach the finish line it will be worth it for sure.
From Monday I am going for 100 games per day on SNGs so I guess another sort of mental challenge ahead of me.
Coaching was great, worked 2 hours with Kornel, answered all his questions and went on to look into specific filter where we analyzed 4 hands in depth. Look forward to his follow up in future.

Day 15

Coached 3.3 hours
Worked on the game with fellow reg 1 hour
Grinded online CG 1.5 hours
Grinded 50 SNGs 2.3 hours
Had coffee with best friend at my place + watched Chelsea game
Watched movie with my brother just now before bed

Total 8.1 hours of Poker activity.

Very productive day.
Coached Jernej 1 hour and 10 minutes in the morning + did 24 games sweats session with my brother that lasted close to 2.5 hours more tonight. Both sessions were very productive and look forward on follow up work from them.

With fellow reg we managed to cover 2 hands in 1 hour. Both went very smoothly as we both agreed on expected tendencies and where the leak was + how to adjust in future on this limit in that spots.

Grinding CG went very well, think I made about 6 buy ins 3 tabling NL25. Perhaps because it is weekend and tons of bad spewy plays around but also due to the fact that I was conciously making some brutal folds that I taught I would never fold in my line - thanks to all the hand history analysis with fellow reg and on my own + coaching with w34z3l, starting to finally pull brakes in some spots which are simply not profitable on those stakes. When I get to NL100 I will revert back to those lines, until then I want to prove to myself that I can simplify my game plan even more in river spots which should enable me less doubts.
Tomorrow/today at 11am I have CG coaching session with w34z3l - prepared new questions and concepts that I would like us to cover in future sessions. I feel after those will get covered that my win rate will increase for sure but only if I keep the mindset focus and decision making like I did today - always aware 100% of what is going on in HU or multiway IP or OOP with or without initiative. This is why I love CG, so much to learn and apply in actual games + every mistake is very costly so all leaks show very quickly. Look forward to more work, can definitely feel that better days are ahead for sure.

SNG grind went great also. Had more 1st vs 2nd and high ITM. Think for the month that I have in 326 games now EV ROI of 10%+ or so with more 1st vs 2nd of course by 3% or more. So far SNGs have not been any problem in fact new ante addition is really awesome, I enjoy crushing HU's even more now! Will be interesting to see if I can maintain for example 5-6% pre RB win rate once I start grinding 100 a day from tomorrow/today and do this in next 15k games for example or so.

Day 16

Worked on the game 1.5 hour on my own
Grinded online CG 1 hour
Grinded 100 SNGs 5.12 hour
Responded to Daily Tracking threads and hands evaluation 0.75 hour
Went for coffee with best friend
Went to dentist + hanged out with my dad a bit
Bought some things for the house
Watched "The 100" 4-5 episodes while grinding SNGs
About to relax and talk with my brother before hitting the bed

Total 8.86 hours of Poker activity.

Very productive day.
Started out very weird as coaching session with w34z3l was postponed for tomorrow + my friend fellow reg had life obligations he needed to attend so it was moved!
What I ended up doing is eating breakfast and going for coffee with best friend where I grinded 700 hands or so (1 hour 3 tabling) and then stayed additional 1 hour and 45 minutes to work on the game + help my students. In 1 hour I finished 2 in depth hands analysis from which both were really useful especially for NL100+ where opponents would have different ranges in those river spots - basically learned a lot from it. 45 minutes spent responding to students Daily Tracking threads + responding to certain hands after they have already written out their thinking process.

When I got home I then worked 0.5 hour on specific video focusing on my biggest leaks in CG by going through my DB analysis and writing things (potential leaks) down in notepad which I plan to cover in depth with w34z3l. Then it was time for dentist where I spent about 45 minutes with my dad, great part of it was that we talked a lot and really enjoyed it. When getting home, shopped some things for home, ate lunch and then went onto SNG grind.
Speaking of grind, in 100 SNGs I was down 20 buy ins which is just super standard SNG experience really. One of those days where setups are going on left and right + stronger hands not holding up. Despite of it am satisfied with my focus with 3-4 questionable river bluff catches that could have been avoided. Solid for returning to 100 games a day - look forward to 100 games tomorrow, it will be much more difficult to keep this up with coaching sessions and working with the fellow reg(s) but I will push through it these remaining 2 weeks making it really count.

CG grind on the other hand was great, similar to yesterday. Even tough it was Monday and not weekend, I managed to make a bit over 3 buy ins in 700 hands which is great. What was more important is that I am more and more in control of every single spot and range consturction + brake down post flop. This is what brought me to CG and what is keeping me with high intensity to think and get energy to study it day in and day out, just fascinating stuff really.
I am sure I am still making mistakes (if I wasn't would be playing mid stakes already lol) , but far less compared to how I was playing for example 2 or 1 month ago! So improvement in CG is starting to show which I am definitely happy about and thrilled with. Look forward to April and 40k hands in it + getting additional 10.5k hands in March!
Tomorrow CG coaching with w34z3l + working with fellow reg (scrazy from Poker Strategy!) both to which I very much look forward to. Expect update about it tomorrow obviously

Day 17

Had a CG coaching session with w34z3l 1.5 hours
Worked with fellow PS reg scrazy 1 hour on the game
Meet with best friend for coffee
Grinded online CG 2.5 hours
Coached Darko 1 hour
Meet with fellow reg for coffee and to catch up
Read more of Robin Sharma's book "Leader Without a Title"
Grinded SNGs 2.61 hours (40 games)
Studied on my own additional 1 hour (video 30 minutes and going through hands from today)

Total 9.11 hours of Poker activity.

Very pleased with productivity today.
Morning started with coaching with w34z3l. We did 0.5 hour video review from session I recorded last week. Some interesting spots came up within 5-10 minutes of video. It seems like it will take us really long time to go over the whole video in depth and discuss all the possible wrong lines that I might have taken in certain spots. I very much look forward to this as I am improving daily and definitely want to improve more and faster if possible. Remaining 1 hour of the session we looked into what I consider personally to be my biggest leak. w34z3l wrote down 10+ filters for DB analysis and we just ran quickly through some hands using 3-4 filters in the actual session. We found leaks (of course!) which made me very happy because it shoved me that my doubts were correct and I do need to improve in that specific area. We wrote down what 2-3 leaks were and I have made mental note + decision to review daily filters from today to improve the plays. Overall super productive and useful coaching as always. Next one is on Thursday which we will again do the same model (0.5 video review, 1 hour of hh and leak finding/fixing). In the meanwhile as I mentioned, I will daily run 1 or 2 filters (depending on how much time I can take out for studying that day) and just go for as many hands as possible to label them. I still want to continue in depth hand analysis but it is very unlikely that I can maintain 3 hands per day since 1 can take up to 1 hour or more and my time management doesn't have 3 hours just for it (unfortunately) - with less financial pressure I can definitely see myself grinding less and dedicating even more hours to studying but not there yet to make it happen in order to move up to mid stakes faster.

Working with fellow reg was great! We took 1 hand and it took us close to 1.5 hour really to finish it. It was 3 bet pot HJ vs BTN and the board run out was so cool that we ended up with like 4 different conclusions and lines that we could be taking. Funny thing is that we analyzed the hand like it went x/c flop x/c turn and river shove, when in fact hand went like x/c flop x/x turn and under bet river Regardless of it, I learned so much from the way we did the hand but we will look into the original line on Thursday when we shall do another session together. Thanks my friend very useful stuff - guys you should follow scrazy, he has a blog here on PS and is playing NL50+ ZOOM with emphasis on NL100+ also.
I did 1 hour of studying on my own by watching 0.5 video and 0.5 hour going through today's hands. Sent some to w34z3l but overall happier day by day how my game plan especially post flop and adjusting + readjusting is happening. Expect great things to happen with CG road I am taking just have to stick with such high pace and intensity to push myself for more. I really feel I am missing like 2-3 more hours per day that I would like to use for CG for sure (not to mention for other life activities, could use 48 instead of 24h really!). Once I get to NL100 I can consider doing 8 hours of poker daily but grinding 3 hours, coaching 1 and working on the game 4 hours - that would be ideal formula to get me to NL200+ eventually which will be my next target obviously.

CG grind went very well. My focus was great, thinking process was there, I felt very much in the control of it all. I decided instead of 1 hour to grind 2.5 hours total since I had videos to render on laptop and while waiting for it decided to grind some more. Also in the evening added 3rd table to be NL50 instead of 3x NL25. Think I was doing fairly well in that 1.5 hour session until I lost a big hand in multiway vs another fellow PS reg who is in my opinion (from what I've read on forum from him) probably one of the best regs that I know around right now that is not coach or leading blog or anything like that. Added him via community tool, hopefully we can do some work together in the future, I feel that I can get a very valuable information from him as he played NL200 now is doing NL50 and NL100 on Stars ZOOM and prepping for NL200 (which I believe he is already ready for). I will not post the hand that I lost even tough I feel that over 90% of the time I have value bet when betting flop bet/calling raise turn and then betting river again after all this time he x/c x/r and x/c river to bluff catch. From GTO I like his bluff catch a lot but since he had no reads on me I am not liking it in vacuum at all especially cause it was a multiway hand to start with. Would love to talk to him more about the hand (wrote him PM earlier tonight) and then go for more strategy discussion if he is open for it of course.
Overall CG went well but I am most happy that I am marking dozen hands in session, taking very important notes in all the spots that make sense to me(and timing out yes!) + feeling that NL50 is back for grabs as soon as I build up roll with SNGs.

Coaching with Darko went great. We did sweat session and I pushed Darko to go beyond his limits, increase number of tables and try to get his unconscious competence to kick in and auto pilot. This was done on purpose to see what parts of his game are leaking as I asked him to comment on every single hand both when he was involved or when others were to think of ranges pre and post flop and how to play the hand "correctly". We did spot 3 leaks during the session. Great news is that from those 3, 1 is something that all the players make on all SNG limits the other 2 will just require him to keep reviewing his ranges. Overall very happy how it went and Darko still has tons of place for improvement but his development so far has been great. I can definitely see him becoming pro and making a living with SNGs if he sticks with current habits and pace!

Grinded only 40 SNGs. Traffic was bad and I just started to feel tired to wait for more games. Initial idea was to do 75 games instead of 100 and that's what I put in the Sharkystrator but it didn't work out due to traffic issue. Took me 2.61 hours to grind 40 games. Results wise was up then down, SNGs card distribution late game, variance, HU getting setuped vs aggressive opponents etc. Happy that I did put some games in as by the end of the month realistic target will be more like 1.5k total games especially if I go to Belgrade for 2 days for Berklee event that I got invited to today.

Tomorrow/today Partizan Belgrade plays cup game vs Jagodina at 6pm so I definitely plan to watch that which can greatly affect my grinding. In terms of other things it should be the same if not more since I will not have coaching session and those 1.5 hours can make up with watching the Partizan game but SNG grind can be affected as I will start it very late.

Day 18

Worked on the game with fellow reg 1 hour + 1 hour on my own
Talked strategy and life stuff over Skype with brutal reg today over 1.5 hours (can count 0.5 hour at least for strategy discussion)
Grinded online CG 3.5 hours
Watched Partizan Belgrade - Jagodina game
Watched some of Barcelona vs City game
Meet with best friend for coffee
Watched with my brother 2 new tv shows
Considering to take some time off in near future

Total 6 hours of Poker related activities

Not a very productive day mostly due to things moving from my regular time management and getting messed up.

Will not write a long update today but rather mention that connecting with brutal reg was really awesome and that in the near future we will start working together a bit which I am thrilled about.
Also my CG grind today was OK up until final session of the day where I went on to swing like 6-7 stacks mostly due to my bad plays. So definitely played with lots of pressure which is really stressing me out a tons.
Talked with my brother tonight, told him that the pressure is really getting to me and that I am considering to take a brake to recharge and motivate myself to grind some SNGs as well. Truth is that I feel in love with CG and I would just like to do CG all day long with no SNGs. If there wasn't need for money for all of us I could and definitely would end up doing that simply because it is most +EV way for me to improve and reach goals I have set.
Reality however is that I should keep earning at least like 1.5k per month to maintain our family expenses. I am not there yet with CG, actually seems like a distant future with sessions like tonight's while in SNGs I can comfortably make that easily if I grind steady. Tonight I knew I should grind SNGs but I choose CG instead!
So the way I see things resolving, me getting back on path with SNGs as well is following:
- Finish up with CG goal for this month in next couple of days (2-3 days max)
- After finishing up with CG recreate new time management for the rest of the month with emphasis on SNGs only for grind
- Taking a day or two off from any grinding or poker really to just clear my mind, read more of Sharma's book and think through best possible schedule to stick to for the remaining of month.

Feel this could and should be highest EV. I will play CG 2 more days for example to hit my goal for this months volume 40k hands (34k so far). I can then use all my morning times until 6pm or so to review my CG, do DB analysis and leak fixing with in depth hand review. I can also consider instead of waiting to start grinding at 6pm or so SNGs to do like 4-6pm mixing 7s and 15s to fill in the traffic more. The whole point with SNGs will be to make money so I may end up playing more than 100 per day in last 10 days of the month. Of course this doesn't mean that I will end up in profit or loss in such small sample, the point is to keep consistent 1.5k volume in 10 months total to make at least 15k from SNGs which will be enough for family expenses steady until end of the year. The rest of the winnings should come after I improve in CG until I eventually switch to it FT.
So the way things look now is, next 2 days CG grind 3k hands in each of the days 3 tabling (4.5 hours of grind each day or so) ; after that putting even more hours into CG study but going for minimum 100 games per day on 15s + consider adding early afternoon session for mixing 7s and 15s to get those 15 tables going.

Will post time management for each day like I always do but this seems like most likely scenario in my mind.

Tomorrow/today CG with w34z3l - very much look forward to his opinion and advice on this approach. One thing is for sure - I will keep studying and working hard on CG and I expect that things will click eventually really strong. Right now I feel in some sessions that I am absolutely crushing it and in some I do some unthinkable mistakes and leaks. It is also really important to me that I see the things I am unsure of and I am now obsessed with learning and fixing all those leaks I feel I have. This type of swinging between A and D level of game is not good in CG so I need to keep working and improve both back and front end of my game + improve my auto pilot. In SNGs I don't have this problem as I 15 table and watch TV shows on the 2nd monitor in the background (listen mostly but also catch to watch some scenes . This was unthinkable when I was starting, it took a lot of hard work on my end to get there. It will take even more for CG I can say now with 100% certainty because I want to prove myself on Stars not on some weaker site/network vs weaker opponents (in future playing on my own I might decide to play NL200 on some weaker sites and stay on Stars NL100 during the day for traffic reasons of course). Feel like I am starting to learn poker all over again which is fun - wish I had no financial pressure tough, this would be so much easier but no need to play victim here - when life gives you lemons make a lemonade you know

Very productive day - very happy about it!
I didn't meet with best friend today and I rescheduled my dentist appointment also for Tuesday next week. Whole idea was to do 3k hands today, help students and get back on track with in depth hand analysis to keep fixing my CG leaks.

Session with w34z3l like always was phenomenal. We talked about so much today and I am happy that we agreed on what I need to work on the most + what we will be focusing on and doing in future sessions.
I prefer not to go too much into detail cause if I do other regs reading might exploit me but just trust me when I say I feel I will finally get rid of my biggest leak in CG and results should follow very soon with it.
I am also very happy that w34z3l supports my suggestions/decisions and shows patience with me. Really appreciate it and I can't wait to get to CG money printing period because he deserves every single $ and some more with his approach as human being and as fantastic coach.

Coaching my students was in form of responding in our private forum. Kornel asked 5 questions that had sub questions in it about very specific spots as part of game plan.
I took over 1.5 hour to respond to them all in great detail with assignments suggestion for each area. Also decided that I will do minimum 1 video on this once I finish CG this month and dedicate to SNG grind only (from day Saturday that is!). I feel my students will gain a lot of insight into this game plan adjustment and advanced edges visually as well as I plan to cover each concept and show how to approach the assignments. Should be tons of fun, look forward making such video.

Grinding was OK. Again I had bad plays but ended in profit with lots of swinging of the stacks. Regardless of the profit which really doesn't matter to me in CG right now, I am just focusing to recognize all the mistakes in game as well as outside of tables when doing analysis to more quickly identify troubling hands and spots for in depth analysis required.
Working on the game took 4 hands and did them in 2 hours or a bit more. Posted all of them in Skype discussion group, hopefully other regs will share their opinion on them. Each hand was very interesting and discoveries I made are super useful for such spots in future. Look forward continuing to build on such knowledge.

Needed a nap in the afternoon because I went to bed around 5am last night and woke up around 10:30am, so through out the day rest was needed as I felt my focus was weaker at times also despite eating well and drinking over 2ls of water today and frequently.

Day 20

Worked on the game total 4 hours
Grinded online CG 4.5 hours but completed target of 40k hands for the month!
Meet with best friend for coffee and we went to 2 separate places
Went with best friend for lunch at my favorite restaurant
Connected with another regular on NL100 ZOOM + talked 1 hour outside of working on the game
Created CG study plan for remaining 10 days of the month

Total 8.5 hours of Poker activity.

Another very productive day
Working on the game consisted of 3 areas. Working on my own, working with reg that I work with the most and working with new reg that I connected today with.
On my own I spent 1 hour watching 2 videos and taking notes to recap my game plan in areas I felt needed polishing.
Working with my friend reg lasted 1.5 hours and we went over 4 hands which we analyzed in depth. We analyzed more hands then that but wrote in depth only 4 of them!
Connected with another reg who plays NL100 ZOOM. We worked on the game 1.5 hours and talked another 1 hour on top of that. Very nice times and happy to connect with another fellow CG player, exchange experiences and life stories with. Feel that we will all benefit in the long run with such connecting and helping each other out.

Grinding went very well. I think I made about 7 buy ins or so pre RB on 3k hands on NL25. Profit really again doesn't concern me at all right now, I am just aware that despite it I made some bad plays. Excellent news is that today at most times I was playing between my B and B+ game which resulted in tons of profit. The times where I was losing I was either 1) thinking that I was making a correct play but had tendency wrong in that spot 2) getting some urge to bluff catch in those specific spots.
I am much happier with today's mental game and improvement in tactical approach. I feel that I have made tons of great adjustments on NL25 today which resulted in profit.

Grinding for March is finished since I hit 40k hands that I arranged with w34z3l. Remaining 10 days of the month I will focus on grinding 100 SNGs each day and during the day I will spend minimum 2 hours on working on my CG game. This will include going over 40k hands in this months database, looking for leaks in specific area, writing down correct ways to adjust and then applying it in future games. I am sure I will find tons of them so I really look forward to next 20 hours of studying, it should bring some eye opener and aha type moments/discoveries.
I might in next 10 days add some CG grinding hour here or there since the target was 60 hours and I have now 59.25 (40 minutes left to complete it)

Tomorrow working on the game scheduled with brutal reg that I wrote about earlier. Really look forward to it as I feel it will be very beneficial session.

Day 21

Worked on the game 2 hours
Grinded 100 SNGs 4.93 hours
Responded to Daily Tracking threads 0.5 hour
Went for coffee with best friend
Watched Newcastle vs Arsenal game
Watched with my brother Red Star game

Total 7.43 hours of Poker activity.

Productive day - happy with things accomplished today!
Went to bed at 6am, woke up around 12. Took me 30-45 minutes to get going so I went for coffee with best friend around 1:30pm or so. While there I worked on the game 45 minutes with fellow reg. It was very useful and I look forward continuing to do it tomorrow also.
Prefer not to go into great detail what I was covering in studying but I discovered 3 things from it just doing 45 minutes with reg and 1 hour 15 minutes on my own. Covered 68 hands in 2 hours, took notes for all the ones where I could have done things differently, marked them also to cover with w34z3l in some future sessions as well.
Main part of the day, afternoon, spent with my brother and best friend where we watched football games. Because of it I had to postpone working on the game with brutal reg today for tomorrow. I am really excited about it and look forward to what he will say. After watching 1st half of the Red Star game, I went on to work on the game 1 hour and 15 minutes (even more). I basically went over all the rest of the hands from the filter I assigned. As I mentioned, 3 things discovered that I very much look forward applying in future games.

Responded to Daily Tracking threads of students. Also decided to do videos with 5 questions regarding game plan soon (by the end of the month most likely) and then I plan to do some post flop videos to help them out to crush in that area also. Look forward to it obviously!

Grinding SNGs was faster than usual. Took a bit less than 5 hours since it is weekend and games are loading faster for 15 tabling. Results wise made about 20ish buy ins with HU crushing in the process. I am however not entirely satisfied with my game tonight. In the 2nd session I felt tired (about an hour ago or so) and I am sure I could have saved 2-3 stacks from 100 games but I put some weak autopilot on due to tiredness. I am aware that this might happen occasionally now since I will be doing 100 games per day + maintaining all the CG studying and life activities (keeping strong time management going).
So overall very productive day with aha and wow moments in studying happening.
