Long time reader, first time thread creator. Been playing consistently the past year after returning from a post-Black Friday hiatus. Started with a heater, used some cash to buy stuff and (temporarily) ended with a WSOP week long bankroll crash and burn in June. But no worries I'm back for a Bankroll challenge and figured I would create this thread to keep myself honest on goals/progress.

For those who are curious here's my Series in a nutshell:
$1k NLH event blinds 50/100
Hero 4,500 (45bb), V covers
CO Hero dealt KK
V raises 600 (huge sizing, very straight forward cash game type older guy)
Hero 3b to 1,800, V calls
Flop QQ5o (pot 1,950)
V checks, Hero checks (pot control)
Turn 7
V checks, Hero bets 1,200, V jams, Hero folds and villain happily flips over 77

Looking back probably betting 33% on the flop was the best play but felt I wouldn't be called by worse on that flop with the amount of Qs in his range. As played should check turn call river but here I am...

My rules:
20 buy in cap on cash games (starting all the way in the micros).
Play 3k hands per week.
Post results on here weekly.

Starting bankroll $100

more to come...

The pot can't have been 1950 if you 3bet to 1800...

Also, why are you pot-controlling with less that a pot-size bet left!?

Math way off there on the post. By pot control I meant not wanting to go all-in when there are two queens on the board, no flush/straight draws. Just felt like he's unlikely to call with worse or fold better. Probably just playing scared to be honest, not 100% sure.

Why 3 bet with half your stack? Definitely a flop to get it in. Just unluck an out drawn I suppose, but jam and take it down. Jam preflop is better.
