I'm 21 years old and I live in Belgium. I've been playing online poker for about 3 months now. I deposited €100 on Pokerstars and played probably like 40-50k hands (not sure because I used different pokertracker programs). I turned my br into €400 by playing 10NL, 16NL and 25NL zoom cash games. Now I'm back at €132,28 due to bad bankroll managment and a gamble addiction.

My goal is to turn this €132,28 into €500 by only playing 4NL so I will have a big enough bankroll to start playing 10NL. I want to achieve this goal before New Year.

Tips and trick are welcome

PS: currently playing on Unibet because Pokerstars don't want to give me a rakeback deal. So I can't use any HUD there.

Position wise :

Changed my plan a little bit. I stopped playing on Unibet because I can't use a HUD there which I really need. Also I don't like their lay-out. So currently I'm playing back on Pokerstars. I'm 2tabling the 5NL Zoom.

Also I studied this weekend. Watched a few vids about leaks and tried to find these with the pokertracker filter system.
3 major leaks I found:
- Calling too much on the river
- Playing too much out of position
- Defended my blinds way too much

Got tilted last weekend. After a few bad beats in cash games I found PowerUp on Pokerstars. I decided to play a few of them and after a while I was buying in for the maximum (7$). Won one, lost a few but I enjoyed it lol it was so funny. I was dieing irl because it is such a stupid game LOL. Anyways I left with €107.

This week I started playing on Ladbrokes. Played a few hands there and back up to €140,80.

Doing my best now to not play any games such as PowerUp.

Reached €170 this weekend. Got tilted after a few bad beats at 10NL and Yeah... I decided to play some Twister games (same as spin and go on pokerstars). I started playing €2 SNG's and I ended up playing €20 SNG's LOL. I just couldn't help myself... TILTED ASF.
Anyways I managed to leave at €89,60. Overall It's still only a loss of €10 ( I started at 100) but it's insane how many hours I spend by playing poker. My plan: Start all over again. For every 2 hours I play I want to study 1 hour. I know it's alot but really I need it, I'm just clicking buttons lately. And to be honest I didn't study at all last time.

Gl man, btw can you use a HUD at Ipoker? I wanted to play on micrrogaming cause it seems like the best option for low stakes, but not being able to use a HUD seems pretty bad

Thanks. And yeah you can use an HUD on Ipoker, don't know bout microgaming but it's possible on Ladbrokes.

Just played a Double Trouble Freeroll (free tourney if u lose 20 euro in one week) on Unibet. First 100 players are GTD 40 euros and only 700 players registered. I was playing pretty good needed one more double to guarantee the 40 euro. This was the last hand and yeah... (click on the pictures below)

My opponent was a big fish, he didn't fold, played every hand, and called every single bet that's why I decided to call on the turn.




Pretty mad now because 40 euros would increase my bankroll pretty good, but no worries I'm not going to play any more poker tonight just registered for this tourney.

Last time I posted my br. was about €80. Decreased my br. to €60 this week. Yesterday I decided to quit playing 10NL. Why? For some reason I can't care about €10. Don't know why because it's actually alot for me. So I decided to play 20NL.

Thursday I started playing 20NL and it was bad. 2 bad beats and one buyin was gone, leaves me at €40. I decided to continue playing 20NL because I always leave that stake after losing one buy-in. So I kept playing and it went good this time. My concentration was sick I think it's just because the bigger buy-in. I feel like a beast now LOL. Anyways here are the results of friday and today. Last hand I played today. Was thinking about raising to 5 on the turn because it was pretty obv he had TP or more likely a straight or flush draw. For some reason I didn't and I raised to 3.80. River comes a spade and I just payed him off. Really bad decision because I knew he had it and when I was thinking that I already clicked the call button. I quitted after this hand because my gamble addiction was taking it over hihi

Won a big pot (got lucky). First go through the hand before reading further. Is it wrong to 4B with 99's in this position? I didn't gave the button too much credit for a hand and I didn't mind to gamble with the low stack bcz they don't mind to get it in with T9 at these stakes. But now I go back through the hand the button was thinking prob the same as me to get it in vs the low stack. So he easily could have a good hand, right? And yeah I would have folded if the button pushed.

My call on the flop may not be right but I was preparing a play. I mean there were alot of turn cards where I could take the lead and he might fold because people are flop raising way too often at this stake.

GOAL ACHIEVED!!! I have turned €100 into €500. Actually it's €499,02 but let's say that's 500

It's really funny I couldn't beat 10NL for months I was desperate. I gave 25NL a shot with my last money only had 4 buyins, lost 2 of em at the beginning and now I worked it up to 20 buyins.

• Total rake paid: €234,75 on Ladbrokes and €40 on Pokerstars

Conclusion:
Just play the stake where you feel yourself comfortable at and bankroll management is a *****! Will be back with another goal soon!
