playing 200z again on bodog and 200 and 500nl reg speeds. graphs and hands incoming as before, now tracking through hem 2 which is nice.

stopped updating cause I went through a brutal BE stretch on Chinese poker apps, ended making a decent livable amount in that time but I think im going back to USA sites now.

Poker Goals for 2018:

10ev/bb wr at 200z, this is high but its definitely possible, need to plug some leaks if I wanna reach this though. currently at 8.5 ev/bb over 20k hands.

12ev/bb wr at 200 full ring reg speeds and 10 ev/bb at 500 full ring reg speeds. These games are ******ed soft I think this goal is super achievable. I mean the level of play at full ring is just absurd, no idea why people even play reg speed 6max over full ring, the difference in play is astonishing. Other regs just hate playing full ring so its pretty common that I'll be playing a full ring table and be with only 1 or 2 other regs and the rest fish. currently at 17bb/100 at 200 full ring over small sample (7k hands). no real volume at 500 but we'll get there very soon.

MTTS: try to play the high value mtts on bodog that are 11$ and higher on a decent basis, some insane value in these, I think pretty much impossible that I don't have a winrate in these, the level of play again... laughable.

Volume Goals: roughly 40 hrs a week I think is good for me in general and definitely doable. I think 40 hrs is a sweet spot for me.

Hand review:

consistently update my db and do consistent hand history reviews by myself and with my "coach", quotations because he helps me out of the kindness of his own heart and we're also more so friends rather than a coach/student relationship, <3 you Patrick. Hopefully will do a macro analysis of my db when my current sample gets to something like 50 or 100k hands.

School Goals:

Taking 3 econ courses this semester, hoping to get an A- average or something, will be happy with that if I accomplish my poker goals along with this.

Lifting goals:

Stay on top of my gym schedule and nutrition, eat well and stick to a schedule, making improvements on all my lifts would be nice. Also try to stay in a caloric surplus, not only good for the gym but also I've found having a caloric surplus is good for my poker game, your brain uses a lot of energy and it needs plenty of it I've found.

Investing:

Build a decent crypto/stock portfolio in 2018, I think the bull run for crypto is just starting to be honest, I think it's gonna be a big year in crypto for everyone in the space. Actually do some decent research and not blindly hemorrhaging money in this department is the main goal.

As a longer term goal I would like to at some point within the next 5 years have some sort of real estate equity.

Miscellaneous:

Actually attempt and stick to meditating.

Don't drink too much, don't go insane with partying etc.

Keep social life healthy and not become a total shut in.

Well, been a while since I last updated.

Cut out some negative things out of my life and focused solely on grinding and occasionally going to the gym. Coincidentally had my best month ever. I played nearly 120 000 hands which took 192 hours of play. Nearly all volume was 200z and 200 full ring reg speed on bodog, with a little bit of 500z but it doesn't really run.
