Hey guys !

Short story about me. I have been playing poker for a couple of years now, mostly 100 and 200 with decent Results. The last year I was kind of lazy and didnt put in a lot of Volume and almost none off the table work. Still, at the beggining of this year I was still comfortably winning mostly playing 100 and about 20% 200. I cashed out a fair amount for a new apartment and lend money to a friend of mine. I still had a healthy BR for my games but then something happend I still dont understand. I was out drinking with some boys, came home and wanted to play some poker. I never wanted to play when I am not sober so I didnt, but for some reason my mind went "you could play a couple of Hands Blackjack". I have no Idea how my mind went there, I never ever played games like this before. And as it should happen, I lost the majority of the money I had in my Account. I feel ashamed and sad about that.
I decided NOT to redeposit to play my games, instead I will grind my way up from the 1,5k I have left in it.
I will drop down to 25NL and work my way up..maybe this way I even will do off table work again.
I started yesterday on Party and day 1 went alright. Still not sure if Party or Stars is better for 25NL, pls let me know what you think about that.

So, just finished my grind for today. Overall I am pretty satisfied with my game today,but I think I am way to aggro in certain spots and bluffed away at least 3 buy ins.

So, after playing 2k Hands on Party tonight and running like **** and since I was curious about Stars anyway I decided to fire up some zoom 50.
9K hands later after a swingy session I managed to book a win. To tired to post hands now, maybe I will tomorrow

hey, I would advice yyou to play on iron poker with 60% rakeback deal from rakemeback. 20nl runs all the time with lots of recreational players.

So my plan for today was to casually play about 2k Hands and chill out for the rest of the day. It started out good but then Stars decided to give me a hard time. Since I didnt want to let Stars ruining my day I decided to put my grinding Pants on and try to get back to even. About ~8k Hands later I succeeded !!!
So far I guess I prefer Stars over Party. Its nice to beeing able to play whenever I want since there is always traffic. I didnt really figure out the rakeback system though, I am Gold right now and have no clue what that means % wise.

Purpose of this Blog:

The main Purpose of writing this Blog is like with most Blogs, to keep track of myself , my play and my mindset. I hope that when I can see that I am still able to make profits at the Tables, that my mind will never ever even waste a thought about Blackjack..not matter how ****ing drunk I am.

Goals overall:

Eventhough I hit a lowpoint, I am strangely motivated..havent been that motivated to play and improve in a long time.
So my overall goal is to get to 200zoom and be a winner there but for now
my first goal is to make $10k profit at the Tables.

Goals rest of March

I want to grind at least 100k Hands this month, but since I already played 23k in 3 days I guess I am on a good way.
I Want to have at least 3 ev/bb,do some off table work and drink less alcohol.
But on March 17 I probably get drunk as ****
In Short:

• 100k Hands
• 3 EV/bb
• less Alcohol
• Off Table work

My girlfriend is out tonight so I guess I should be able to put in some Volume, but there is also the chance I will end up watching some Gilmore Girls and eating Ice cream so we will see.
On a more serious note, I strongly recommend not to listen to that song while grinding. Still no Idea how it got into my playlist, need to talk to drunk me I guess

So, played about 5K hands today on Stars and had my 4th winnig day in a row ! I think I will switch Sites and play all my Volume on Stars, but before I can do that I need to grind out a couple of hundred Partypoints on Partypoker to not waste a Bonus, so thats what I will do the rest of the night and probably tomorrow aswell. I am pretty happy with my Volume and results that far on Stars.
I am at ~30k Hands in 4 days with an EV winrate of 8,35, so my monthly Goals seem pretty archivable

After Playing on Party yesterday I just couldnt bring myself to Play on there today aswell so I played on Stars again instead.
Tody I was blessed with some rungood mixed with A game almost all day and the Result was +10Bi. After a short break I dediced to "shot" 100NL with 5 buy ins and it started out pretty well. Unfortunately my Laptop just shutdown 3 Times during my shot so I decided to call it a day before I start to tilt. I guess its time for a new Laptop

Interesting one, eventhough I block a FD, he is pretty capped IMO. I block AQ, I dont think he defends 42, he would jam AJ so he is pretty capped on A3 or A9 and since I have seen so many weired total air floats by people in Blinds vs button 3 bet spots I think my play is fine









Dont know about his play, but I probably would have folded every overpair so..

Small recap:

So, it has been 6 days since I began my new "journey" on Stars. In these 6 days I have played 45K Hands with a good WR so far. Iam pretty sure I will move all my Volume to Stars und continue to grind 50NL for now. I really dont want to redeposit and since I am a BR Nit, I will shot 100 NL after I made 100 Buy ins at 50NL. I could shot earlier but I really want these 100 buy ins as a archivable Goal for now. So far it looks like I am going to crush my Monthly goals of 100k hands and 3 EV/bb , but I am still going to grind as much as I can even when I archived the goals. One thing I noticed in the last sessions was
that I am autopiloting sometimes way to much, or I caught myself surfing, watching youtube videos or streams during my sessions. That has to stop, I need to focus more, maybe take a mandatory break every 60-90 mins to refresh. I guess cutting back to 3 tables would help aswell, but for now I try to do it with 4 and see how it goes. But other than that its going pretty well

Yes I think so. I block QJ and like I said I really dont see a Hand he can call us with. I could be totally wrong ofc buts its my opinion

So my Laptop really broke down and I am currently using my old one. Needed some time to get it all running and had some things to do so I havent played all week :/ I thouht I had backed up my DB but apparently I didnt..so thats pretty ****. I was at about 60k hands at 7 EV bb so I just have to see about the rest of the month

So my whole Laptop Situation is really tilting me..add my flue that I got today and my Volume really speaks for itself. If anyone got a good Laptop recommendation...really no clue whats good right now, probably should read up on that. So, given my headache and Laptop issues I decided to just play 2 Tables for now and it went really good. Played way looser though and caught some rungood..that always helps

Was at my moms house all day yesterday and played a pretty bad session there, started to run really bad with like 5 buy isn below ev in ~10 Minutes and as a result I played bad..so the session ended with me loosing ~8 Buy ins. Would post hands but didnt play on my Laptop unfortunately. Watched a couple of poker videos/streams today , which got me motivated quite a lot so I decided to play a small Session. Went pretty well


Against 14% Button 3 bet.
What do you think ? My reasoning was, I block KQ and Aces a bit, everything busts, he can turn JT AT AJ into a bluff on the river. I probably dont have AK in my range there, KQ is unlikely so I look like a Queen the can try to barrel off












The rest isnt that interesting, mostly fish bluffing me. When I got my DB back ill try to post more interesting Hands.
Overall I am up about 2K in ~70K hands.

Today:

Unfortunately I couldtn really grind on the Weekend except for Friday where I was down all Session long running multiple times into Aces when I had Kings, set under sets and so on.I managed to get some heat in the end and finished the session with a small profit. Today went really well and I managed to win almost 12 Buy ins.
