Hello 2+2ers, My name is Francisco and this will be the thread I'll track my record on.
I had started a PGC thread before but stopped updating after a while... So starting this one fresh and with full
motivation!

Background:
Been playing poker for 3 and a half years, started with a single deposit and built up from there. Was playing
while going to uni so couldn't focus 100% on poker. But now uni is over and I wanna give poker a serious shot.

Goals:
Play 150k hands a month;
Eat healthy and exercise;
Study and work on my game;

Those will be the main goals and I will try to update the threah daily. I am currently playing 50NL with some
shots at 100NL which haven't been going so well... I have been playing zoom and regular tables and still not sure
which I wanna stick too so just mixing both for now.

I have developed a schedule to guide me on my daily routine and I feel confident that I will succeed with my
objectives if I follow it.

That's all for now folks!
First Update will come tomorrow.

So I had to reinstall Windows on my PC so spent most of the time today creating my HUD again and setting up everything to grind, so that's why volume is so low... Here is the graph for today:

Started off with some zoom and definatly some run bad but a few bad plays mixed in... Moved to regular tables and started to grind my way back up. Pretty happy to climb out of the hole.

Here are some hands from today's grind:

This one felt really close by the river. Think that I should probably fold in this spot and not even sure if villain is bluffing or what...

        Volume today is a bit better but still not quite where I want it at...

        Here's the graph:

        A lot of misplayed hands by me today, so that's why the day went kind of bad overall... Gonna try to work a bit on my mental game as well. If anyone has any sugestions for this please do comment.

        Here are a couple of hands:

        Think I pretty much butchered this spot... Would have folded without the open ender, but probably still a fold with such a low flush draw, pretty bad from me.

            So I have found a job for this week which will take most of my daily time to play poker. I will still try to put in 4-5 hours a day but probably won't have a clear head... On a good note it will be no variance boost for my life roll

            Goals for this week:
            Play 35k hands;
            Update thread daily;
            Post here one interesting hand per day and do a short analysis the day after;

            And that's it! Short and simple.
            Will update later today after I play.

            I'm a bit tired today so Volume is lol... I'm still pretty happy with myself since I think I played a better game then I have for the past few days. Also tried setting up 2 zoom + 4 reg tables and I like it! Will carry on like this for now, maybe add some more regs in the future if I feel like it

            Graph:

            Well as I said I'm gonna be posting one hand a day and some about it later. The goal with this is that I do it before starting playing in a new day, just to get my poker thoughts going.

            Since today's volume was a bit low I don't really have many interesting spots, except maybe this one in which I tried a 3 barrel bluff and not sure at the time if this would be a hand that I would want to do it with:

              Too obvious a spot to bluff, lots of draws missed. Check/call will yield more value as he has missed draws which you beat.

              Also I bet way less on the turn, means he'll feel obligated to protect his nuts (which you can fold too) and gives you more visibility (+ cheaper).

              ----------------------

              Hi guys!
              Long time without posting i know! Well, this week proved a lot harder than I was originaly thinking it would be. Had to leave at 8am from my home and only got home at around 7.30pm, and not too mention a bit tired. That means most days I didn't even play... So the goals for this week were pretty much a disaster!

              But moving forward for now... One of my biggest issues I feel like it's my mental game. So this week I won't check any type of results, this includes opening the cashier during or out of sessions and not checking HM2. I'm pretty comfortably rolled for 50NL so this won't be a problem. I have removed the amount won from HM2 and I won't check the graph tab.

              I will try this until the end of sunday next week ( 5th of July ).
              Besides this I will start exercising 5-6 days a week and eating healthy, will try to not drink much but can't make any promises on saturday nights haha...

              Also there are 10 days left untill I check my graph so once I do ill set a filter from today untill then and I want at least 50k hands played ( average 5hours / day) which seems aceptable.

              Starting tomorrow coaching with Simon, better known as sifiasco on 2+2, so really excited about that since it's been a long time that I had someone looking at my game

              That is all for now! If anyone has any sugestions on how I can improve my mental game, all welcome to comment!

              I'll keep updating the thread with hands and thoughts about my mental game this week.

              GL all!

              Hello, kind of a vent post today... Didn't check results but I'm sure I lost quite a few buy ins today. Played 4 hours and got ass pretty much beaten up like I didn't in a long time lol...
              Despite that I feel like not checking results is actually helping me, but kinda hard to do since it was something I used to do constantly haha.

              I'll leave you with some hands and go to sleep:

              Kind of a cooler, not sure about turn from me, but calling can't be a big mistake imo...

                      Cheers, trying to set high standards for myself!

                      So took most of today to look at some of my hands and watch some videos and also design myself a schedule and ways to keep me motivated.

                      So after some analysis into my game I think it's pretty clear to me that I play a lot better in regular tables then zoom. It's not about winrate or anything but I think that when I'm playing zoom I go a lot easier into "bot mode" and that leads me to make plays that don't make much sense and that are costing me money in the long run. So for now I decided to stick to the reg tables.

                      Besides that I'm now writting a "to do list" and a "stop doing list", this is to help me achieve my goals and to keep some of my bad daily habits from continuing.

                      Aside from that I'm going to try to look into my Mental Game very seriously. For this I will read Jared Tendler's book ( which I started a couple of times but never finished ), keep exercising everyday ( taking bike rides, runs and some exercises for now ) and eat healthy ( stop eating junk food, candy and sugar filled stuff is the main goal for now). I feel like these should be enough for now and definatly a big improvement to my mental state.

                      That's it for now! Will keep working on my game and giving you guys some updates, I get this might be kind of a boring way to post but it is the best way for me for now i think...

                      And some portuguese threadsavers for rungood:
