I've been playing poker online for years and have had minimal experience playing live. Within the next year or two I'm planning on scratching the WSOP main event off my bucket list. In the few live events that I've played, including some in Vegas I've managed to come out ahead. In my past I was a much better cash table player but have since trained myself to be a better aggressive tourney player.
I'm of the opinion that if you can win playing play money tables it makes you that much more affective as a real money player, provided you play with the same tactics. I'm interested in what anyone has to say about how best to start preparing myself for the main event. Below are my stats as of late.
