^ yup, can't argue with that! The hands aren't brutal brutal beats or anything, just an example of how time after time I was getting sucked out on. But you're right if I wasn't tilting I doubt I'd have put 200bbs in with the 2nd nuts, even vs a fish (I think it was a fish). Just awake and in hindsight what an epic session. Thoroughly enjoyable stuff!

how many hands you play a month? how many VPP you get a month? are you going for 300-400k VPP?
thank you

^ I aim for 1k VPPs a day, so roughly 30k a month, not sure how many hands.

The last few days have been absolutely brutal. I don't want to sound like a broken record but the beats have been unlike anything I've ever seen before. Just as I seemed to have turned the corner I got fkd over again and again.

-40BIs in 3 effing days. I've pulled a bunch of hands but these are just from the first day, and maybe one or two from today. My roll is at $1470. If it drops to $1000 I'm cashing the rest out and going to work in the real world. I'm by no means the best player in the world, but I'm certainly not a bad player (cue BornToRun to tell me otherwise). I won't lie, there was some bad play, and some tilt, but it's like 90% just anal raping. It's rigged, RIGGED I TELL YA!!!!!!!

Some of those hands are misplayed but not so many that they aren't ****ing brutal as a whole. Sick. Honestly I'd go crush souls at 2NL for a couple of days to get your confidence back.

Have a break for a few days and come back fresh.

If this really happened on one day, thats the worst ive seen in a while. I really feel sorry for you man.

Some guy from german 2+2 described NL50 Zoom as „some crazy type of lottery/roulette“ and i think this fits really well when i see hands like that JJ vs. AK. Just remember, that here, YOU ARE THE CASINO, meaning that the odds are in your favour and eventually, you will get their money. ☺

Just make sure, that you only play when you are at your calmest in the next few days and that you keep a proper bankroll management. You’ll be fine, Just hang in there!

I might be results oriented. But surely that 77 hand is not a raise/call on the river?

                                    Either way good luck man.

Ty for the responses guys, was slightly worried I was gonna get flamed. Self excluded for 24 hours and try as I might I haven't been able to stop thinking about the last few days. Two things...

Firstly, the hands I posted were bad beats (as pointed out some not so much, some very much so), but I've realised that I'm either very naive or a total ***** artard to believe that I dropped 40 BIs due to variance and bad luck. As someone pointed out, I should have stopped way way way before I was down what I finished being down. Live and learn, I'll not do that again. If I had stopped after 10BIs I wouldn't have cried myself to sleep 3 nights in a row (just kidding... maybe).

Secondly, and most importantly, when I get back to playing, I won't have the mindset of wanting to get those 40BIs back; I have to let it go. If I was to try and win 40BIs ASAP I'd be wanting to have $1k days etc which I don't think is anywhere near doable (maybe for the elite 50nl zoomers out there, but I ain't one of 'em).

Also I said that if I dropped 10BIs I was done, but the thought of going back to sitting at a desk and clock-watching 8 hours a day and taking 20 minute toilet breaks just to get away from working fills me with the fear. I'll grind through this and beyond. Thanks again for the responses, I appreciate em

Oh and Elpirato, if you are who I think you are, I had aces man, how was I to know they weren't good there?!

I'm in a similar situation. Down 20 BI's this month after having a pretty awesome year so far. It's been pretty brutal for me too. Have a little more to play this month to maintain Platinum Star.

You'll get over this setback in no time. Keep grinding.

That is extremely brutal. Hard to see where you went wrong. Hand 6 could be a raise/fold river situation (wouldn't a straight/trips just call this river rather than come over the top?). Hand 16 could potentially be a fold on the river, but it's so difficult to put him on a hand that beats you given the way it played out. Hand 18 could potentially be a fold against a very tight player.

Stick with it Dobber! MultiTabling, you're right that some of the hands could be a little better, was just grabbing em as they were happening!

A quick update to say that it looks like I have finally turned the corner. I started 2-tabling Zoom (I usually 4 table Zoom with 2 regular tables), and really started to think about things. A few things that had changed in the last week were that I was far too barrel-happy, far far far too call-happy, and I was also putting too much money into pots with TPGK hands etc. After a while 2 tabling I went back to 4, and now back to 6, and back to normal. Still had a few gross beats over the past 2 days, but I've been able to hand out a few coolers of my own vs other people (a couple of runner runners that'd make your toes curl).

Got $1200 in my account now (had to cash out $200), and 37,500 fpps. I also feel extremely relieved that I'm not busto!

Tyvm to all who have posted over the past 5/6 days, I appreciate it. We're all gonna make it

Will finish with a hand. After some of the coolers lately, imagine the fear deep in my soul after I saw the flop here...

With this mindset you should really just stop playing now no matter what your results are since you clearly dont have the right state of mind to succeed in poker. And i say this not to be mean but to just point out that poker is not worth lowering your quality of life which is what will happen if you continue. GL

Depends if he learns from the adversity. Then he will come back stronger. Everyone goes through this when they run horrible, don't pretend you never have.

Problem is he is no longer rolled for 50nl, so should really move down to 25nl because playing zoom with that roll is asking to go busto very quickly.

40bi in 3 days is not just bad beats. Half of that was probably avoidable and the result of getting involved in too many high variance spots. When I'm down swinging I tighten up and avoid them, even though it might be 'weak' because my br and mentality needs some protection.

That is it in a nutshell; at first I thought it was just bad beats but after a bit of analysing there was too much gamboooool, mainly due to tilt. Live and learn!

A good night tonight (it's 5am UK time), and three winning days in a row... the storm seems to finally be over! No daily graphs atm as I'm playing for a few hours as the day begins, and then again at like 8pm. My gf has been away on holiday hence the f'd up sleeping pattern, back to normal in a few days (a bit gutted, sick volume while she was away). Will do a graph at the end of the month, and then back to dailys after that.

'Sessions by day' makes for interesting reading in HEM, 21st May was only my 2nd losing day of the month, been a rocky road since then (be warned, some of the figures are grim). Not ashamed of that losing rate, just unbelievably relieved to be back to playing my A game.

One quick hand from tonight below. There was another one that was fantastic but I never grabbed it. I was in the BB, Ukkage (sry if ur reading this bro) opened the SB, I 3bet w KK and the board was like 23577r, I bet, bet, shoved for 100bb and he tank-called with KQ :O
