Not much to update guys, had 4 or 5 winning sessions in a row. Games haven't been great at all lately, but we're running extremely well so we'll defo take it. I've commented before about my winners tilt when on these trips. When I'm on a winning streak as soon as I'm up around $1500 or so all I wanna do is get out the game. Trying my best to power through, and hopefully the arrival of a well known PGCer today will help me just get on with it.

Haha thank you. To be honest it's all one absolute blur just now, have been on the nightshift but going to stay awake as long as I can today and get back to grinding days all this week. My main man Everest17 has just arrived from Hillbilly-ville so I can't be asleep all day and awake when he's asleep!

My last session, whenever it was, was -$4700. Ran a bluff at the end which I know is good in theory but in reality is just never getting through. My mental game has come a long way but how utterly down I felt after that session has confirmed I still have a long long way to go. It's one long grind innit?

I got myself into another interesting moral dilemma spotbtoday. So there is a very well known whale that plays. We will call him P. He is very rich, probably in his 70s, and he is an insufferable old prick, horrible to the dealers all the time etc.

So a new dealer sits down, really nice American fella in his 40s, fast, competent dealer. A guy opens to 35, P calls with 2x$25 chips, and dealer gives him his change. P then says "why are you always throwing chips at me?!" Dealer is like pardon me sir and P actually says "you threw the chips at me and they hit my fingers. If you're going to throw them at my fingers, I'm going to throw them at your face."

Do we say anything? If not then where do you draw the line?

Genuinely curious, I'm not saying we should or we shouldn't!

I would really want to talk to that guy and tell him to be more respectful. But I think the best approach is to talk to the dealer "don't bother with him, you're doing fine".

It's hard for a 70 year old to change his manners, but we can make the dealer have a less ****ty day by doing that.

Like these spots for me I hate in live poker, normally I wince internally the first couple of times and if I feel it reaches a certain point I normally interject and say “hey man x is just doing his job, come on now” etc (always in a fairly light hearted tone).

Although in many of my cases it’s not normally the mega whales that slag off the dealers it’s the bowl fish.

Like tbh I just really hate people being ****s to dealers/servers etc. You can take the view of oh well the guy is just being a **** let’s just take all of his money etc but I genuinely think the act of sticking up for the dealer or waitress who really isn’t in much of a position to do much except sit there and take it goes a really long way. I know if I was in their spot I would appreciate someone calling the guy out and standing up for me.

Id stick up for the dealer, dont give a **** if old whale leaves because of that, this is disrespectful as **** and he needs to be called out, several times

100% gotta stick up for the dealer there. hopefully as calmly and non confrontational as possible. even if it's a giant whale, we don't want an environment where that kind of bs goes on

idk if i mentioned this, but you were talking about seat 5 that one night muttering insults to the dealer. when i spoke up, i could tell the dealer really appreciated it.
