I personally think xb is good; if we're betting turn it's to protect from any of the straight card rivers. Given the action, I don't think we have any bluffs here. I don't mate, I'm a total noob when it comes to meditation. I just set a 6 minute timer on my phone, close my eyes, and focus on my breathing/keeping an empty mind. I have noticed that I find it much easier to eat clean on days I've meditated, although that's probably just psychological I believe BigAsiaOk uses an app, hopefully he can advise itt.

Not a great day life wise, good day $ wise tho. Went to bed at 1am, wide awake by 5am. Did some hill runs and a wee workout, into the Commerce for 8am. Someone told me a few days ago that I need to get off the night grind coz the day grind is so good. It was absolutely ****ing BOLLOCKS today. 4 regs sitting side by side talking about their cryptocurrencies, 3 nitty Asian recs, 1 semi-rofler and me. Only hand of note, I open to 35 UTG+2, not bad reg calls, BB older regrec thing makes it 300 from BB lol. I just got the JCB out and drilled it in, he had AA ofc. Genuinely no idea what to do here. Anyway said **** it and racked up and went home, slept for like 6 hours, and back at it for around 9pm. Went straight in and played 10/20. First hand I'm in the BB, active rec opens to 60, good reg called OB makes it 200, I cold 4b KQs to 650 and they both fold. Good start. Next hand, 2 Asian recs limp, I make it 100 w T9dd. American unknown reg makes it 340, I peel. Js7c3h flop. He bets like 30% and I peel. Turn is 8s and voice in my head says "Yessss, wait... have I got 89dd or T9dd?!" thankfully it was the turned nuts lol. Reg bets 950 OTT and I shove for like 2500. He calls after about 10 secs and I'm like "once or twice" and he's like "up to you". I show my hand and he's like ya I'm dead.

Two more hands to finish. First one I open A4dd UTG+1. Not normally an open but the table is good and the BB is a proper whale. Get called by some rec in MP that I recognise but have no idea where from, and BB. Flop is A54dsx. I cbet 140 into 220, only MP calls. Turn is Ks. I bet 370 into 500, he calls. River is 10h. I am thinking for like 90 secs and it's super obvious I haven't acted yet, MP picks up chips to cut out a bet and then without anyone saying anything says "he checked right?" would say it's a tiny tiny angle, just trying to get me not to bet. It doesn't deter me tho and I bet 920 into 1240. He folds after a minute. Glad I didn't let that put me off betting. Last hand I think is probably okay but not sure. Asian whale got the straddle on, I make it 150 second to act. 2 recs call, OB good reg calls in SB. 650 in the pot, flop Jc7s3c. I x here, wanna x/r vs the 2 recs and leave myself a pot size bet left OTT. It gets x'd through, turn 8s. OB leads out for 300 into 650, only I call. River 2s, he checks, and I xb. He shows 9s9x, fairly certain he woulda x/r the river if I bet. Happy to hear any thoughts, maybe we should just be x/r'ing 7s and 3s here. Anyway finished up $4800 for that session, and approx $3100 overall. Casual $16k upswing last 2 days at 10/20 lol.

Not much else to report, woke up this morning and all I wanted to do was go Vegas a week early, like I priced and planned it as I lay in bed. I'm gonna stay in LA for the weekend then probably just go to Vegas on Monday, play absolutely no poker for 3 days, and then WSOP/big grind starts 1st June.

Weed is legal though you can just go to a shop and buy some. Cops cant do crap about it. And it's less harmful than other drugs, you can't overdose on it and you won't get a hangover like with alcohol. But you're better off without it.

Ya I think his name is OB, not sure tho. From my limited experience with him/what games I've seen him play, he looks pretty decent!

Won $1512 today playing 5/10 for 10 hours. I ran pretty meh/played pretty badly for the most part but won 2 $3k pots to give me a very acceptable day. Got it in w AKo, A high flop, I insta show and he mucked. Then 4b JJ CO vs SB and bet/called on JT3fd and got shown KK from an English fella. AIEV's a funny thing, I've got it in with a PP 3 times this trip and lost 3 times vs a worse PP, but the JJ today and the TT vs KK on 355T for an 11k pot more than even it out!

I've booked my flight to Vegas for Monday. I'm tired, I feel sluggish, and I'm very much forcing the grind just now, so 2 more solid days in LA and then I'm going solo yolo to Vegas for 3 days. The hand I said I'd tell you later I had KK. Caleb in the 9 seat opened to 40 in MP and I flatted because my stack was ~500 and if i 3bet there I'm going to kill my action a lot of time. Caleb would not suspect me to flat KK i don't think and 3betting him with my stack size is going to blow him off of most of his range. The older asian reg behind me also called so 3 people to a flop of AA9cdd. I'm praying this is the jackpot hand. Everyone checks. Turn 3c Caleb checks I bet 60 both call. Aces full of tens or better beat by quads or better and both whole cards have to play. Most common way is to have AAA on board and someone has ace with kicker that plays and someone has TT-KK.

Believe it or not Gazzy I hit the $500 hot seat last night at 1am. Ace of spades just like you and I needed it the Ace of hearts was already drawn. Helped make up for the ~1k I gave Tim with KKvsAA which stung.
