There's only 2 possible outcomes after a session like that
1) Dug your way out of the hole to breakeven (or a small win)
2) Still in the hole

Not a chance haha. If I get back to even (spoiler - I won't) then I will.

The runbad in that last session was sublime. I showed Smit the hands when he got in from live grinding at like 2am and he was just like "yeah k u run bad bro". It turned round towards the end though, so hopefully the worst is over.

Hey Gazzy thanks for sharing your experiences for the past two years. I am thinking of maybe relocating and getting back into poker for a few months and see how it goes. I am not trying to be rude, but how come youre still playing 50nl and 100nl after two years? You work hard and put in crazy hours. Are the games very tough these days? Thanks for any input!

Haha I've been asked that question many times and that is by far the nicest way anyone has ever asked! Truth is I'm comfortably rolled for 100nl and maaaaybe even 200nl if I pushed it, but I have lost so much money lately I have no interest playing that high just now. Add in this is a 50nl promo, this is where I'm at just now. I'll be doing the 100nl promo next week (but defo staked, the swings will be ENORMOUS), and will evaluate what I wanna play after it.

There's no shame playing 50nl. I know I'm playing it because I want to, not because I'm busto, and it doesn't really matter what people think that I'm playing lower than usual. I have achieved inner zen

Tinyzombie, I was using TN2 and getting approx 700. Switched to PartyCaption and it's easily worth at least another 150/hr, absolute godsend.

Starting to fffffffffffffffffffffffinally catch some ****in heat. 4 months of sheer nonsense looks like it might be finally ****in over.

50k hands and $2180 in rake paid in the past 3.5 days. I absolutely love this grind, pushing myself to the poker limit is genuinely great fun.

If your true winrate is >0bb and after that many hands you lost that much, you obviously hit that famous run bad bottom 5%.

        @GazzyB123

Just curious because always been strugling with putting volume. Do you prepare for such an extreme grind (e.g. food, planing the day, other stuff I don't know of) or it just straight YOLO style??

Genuinely curious because maybe there is something I could incorporate into my routine to grind more. Because it seems almost inhuman to pull off the grind the way you did. But huge respect and just hope you will not crush your health during this month with all of the rake races etc.

The next few months will tell heat555! If I continue to not win money then maybe I just suck and it wasn't actually variance all along running much better last few sessions, I'm hopeful that it's finally over.

KPT I actually don't mate. It would be much better if life was constructed better, but I legit roll out of bed, onto the PC, and straight into the action. The only thing I do to prep is empty my piss bottle haha.

going to try stream for 24 hours. Some Russian **** has played for like 36 hours straight and overtaken me. So this is my rebuttal to him.

        LFG.

Dunno how serious exactly you are here, but if true you gotta sort this **** out Gaz. Gotta be awful for your spirit. Single biggest change I made in my poker life was structuring my day, treating it sorta like a job, dropping my table count and eating right. I'm not sure I could even function after playing 20hrs in a day, let alone make decent decisions.

Looking forward to hearing the full Vegas update, sorry it didn't work out!

There is a point hat just getting hands is worth more than making optimal decisions.

Disagree unless you're absolutely killing the games.

In fact given that this thread is in page 52 and this is where we are, it's ridiculous to infer that getting hands in is more worthwhile than making optimal decisions.

Not at all intended as a shots fired post, genuinely wanna see Gazzy crush.
