had a decent session tonight. I played some 1-3 cuz the waitlist for 1-2 was like 12 people. I bought in for $225 and cashed out with $358. I was down to around $100 at one point but then I 3bet with k5ss and got called by 1 person. Flop came 467 with 2 spades. He checks, I bet, he puts me all in, I call and double up. After that hand I had around $210 infront of me. Nothing interesting really happened. Mostly straight forward poker (betting for value etc).

I think I'm gunna take a break from poker and spend the $1k+ I won in the past 2 weeks on some clothe and other bull****. Probably just gunna buy a lot of csgo skins tbh..

took a shot at 2-5 today and lost $450. The table was pretty hard. I think I'll just stick to playing 1-2.

yeah honestly im losing motivation to play poker right now. I have to walk like 10 blocks to get to the closest bus stop then take the bus for an hour to get to the casino. It takes like almost 2 hours in total to get to the casino and i guess it just got tiring on my body.

I'm gunna give poker a break or at least lower the amount of hours i put into it each week. I tried to put 15 hours into poker each week but it really has a negative impact on my performance at my day job. And the 50hours a week I put into my day job has a negative impact on my poker as well. I think dedicating 65 hours week into 2 physical activities can be negative for my overall happiness. I thought I would be happy being able to play poker, but thats simply not true for me. Even though I won money, I feel like **** the next day at work because of the lack of rest. And when I play poker, I feel tired because I just got off a long day at work. It's a never ending cycle of ****tiness so I think I have to take a break from live poker for now.

My primary reason for moving to this new state was for poker. We dont have casinos in south carolina so I moved to another state that was close to a casino. I found a job right away as a dishwasher and even though its like one of the lowest positions on the social ladder, I'm content with it. I like the lack of responsibilities I have at work. I just wash dishes. Its easy on the mind (but hard on the body).

For now I think I'm going to be playing online poker more and probably no more live poker. I won enough money from live in the past 2 weeks to play 25nl online comfortably. I think this is better for me right now until I build a big enough bankroll to quit my job and move closer to the casino to pursue poker full time.

anyways thanks for everyone and anyone who followed this short thread. It was fun at first but got too tiring for me. Someday I will pursue poker as a full time job, but for now I have to focus on work. Thanks again for following and supporting me through this 2 week period
