H1 77 I think you have to go broke here. You might even consider 3-bet jamming the turn. Double check raise flop and turn = strong hand (JJ+ and some sets, unfortunately)And he will never fold to your shove, but you might lose some value if river is A and he has JJ/QQ

H2 AJo I think this is a spot where you can size up OTF, if you decide to bet. But considering BB cold, we might assume he is a recreational and you can cbet 1/3 with range and once he calls the cbet, just give up. You can play this way against weak/passive/nit regs.

H3 9Ts ugly spot, but I think it' fine. Your hand is too good to fold the turn and he gives you the right odds.

H4 ATo - I would check back flop

H5 22 is not a full frequency open from MP, but as played I think it's ok to fold the river, unless you have some specific read on your opponent.

H6 88 - weird spot and I think depends on your opponent. I'm not sure about the turn call to 1bb, though.

First session at 5NL went okish, won KK vs AA while running it twice which was nice ofcourse. Might have spewed a bit 3betting trashy aces again, don't totally hate my plays though.
Noticed that there are more spewy players at 5NL than at 2NL but that could be a coincidence

Started today really bad but ended a little better. Did run really bad also definately need to work more on my game both preflop and postflop, did some preflop work today and will watch some videos of regs playing micros tomorrow.

From now on I'll only post hands I'm unsure about and remove the results and maybe 1 or 2 funny ones

About the TTo hand, I think It would be smarter to 3 bet or go all in the flop after the villain bet, since he raised and payed your 3bet pre-flop and c-betted on flop he could have a premium pair or at least a strong hand that could combine with something on turn/river. 3 betting on flop would protect you against those draws I believe.

A raise on the flop is a 2bet, also there are very few draws on this board in a 3bet pot. Raising the flop is really bad against a guy who is just clicking buttons, as you can see he has almost no equity on the flop. Also if he had a premium pair he would very likely have 4bet preflop. You gotta work on your hand/board texture reading but thanks for the feedback!

Even the villain having little equity on the flop don't you think you would be taking too much risk letting him see another card just calling?

It wouldn't be wiser to make him put more money on the pot since you have better chances to win? just asking, I'm also a beginner at cash games

If there's someone here with more experience at micros who could share his opinions about this hand it would be awesome.

You call because you want to keep all his bluffs in his range and you're fine if he improved his hand a bit so he has more chance of continuing bluffing. This doesn't only apply to cash games

I think you'll get more response if you post only 1 or 2 hands each time.

At first it seemed like an easy call
But then the more I think about it the less inclined I am to call here

The only real hands we beat are Kxdd
Does villain have enough of those in his range to make this a call? I'm not sure.

I think it's unlikely villain is shoving anything worse than the nut flush here.
Maybe if he's bad enough he could have like K3s, Q3s, J3s, 32s, 53s even A9 and maybe some more random 3's or like Qxdd, Jxdd

I'd probably call if I've seen villain do some weird bluffing before.
Should probably lay this down if we haven't, not sure if I could at the table though.

I also think this might be a good spot to start donking turn, we can get value from a lot of hands that would just check behind.

Gl man. Seems like a better alternative to grind sngs and jump into nl10 or higher. Dunno how u play nl2 or nl5 for pennies. I do the same grind sngs- avg around $400-$600 profit per month and just started playing nl10+

This is like never trips and always at least a big flush imo, but most people at these stakes probably won't even shove the nut flush here, I called and he had AA ofcourse.

What specifically do you think caused the burn out in SNGs? How are you enjoying the cash grind compared to your previous one?

H1.
Tough spot. But I suppose that if you call the raise flop, it's quite rare to see raises in 3B pot In micros. It's kinda the best card for you when you call. V represent flush hard. I would still call. Folding turn seems a bit premature.

H2.
That's where having information is key for creating a calling-game-plan. I would not be suprised that a fish-spewy: could shove some top-pair, (not knowing how to play and being scared flush) some nut FD, it's good that our aces don't block those. Some other player profile more loose-passive. (dont play draws as raise very much) I see a lot of those guys just shoving the 2 pair and sets. So I would be very less excited to call that guy.

H3.
I think I would mostly X with my 8 there. And use a ladder effect with my pairs. for my betting frequency on turn. You probably have some 7x in your range also. so mb your mid stuff start to prefer X. As played looks like a milking sizing with a hit Fd kh... Depending how you construct your turn strat. I think your quite low in your value range turn. So a argument could be made to fold river.

H4.
Your thinking about turning your hand into a bluff to fold the Kx? Seems to me you still have some showdown value against the Ah and some PP with spades.

H5.
What is happening here? I've very rarely seen that. Atrocious river for what I can try to imagine as being a range for leading the flop on monotone board for 1/5 pot.
But how can we be ever good there?

H1 I shoved turn and he had a higher flush ofcourse, guess shoving was a little overplaying my hand

H2 was a fish and had no reads, he had KJ, most people play 1 pair hands more passive and this is usually 2p+ or a combo draw so I guess I'll just fold next time.

H3 I think we have to cbet small to protect against overcards and draws. I called and he had KQ btw.

H4 nah I either bet 1/2 or check called (don't remember) and he had AK, think it's pretty hard to fold given how the hand was played. Don't like raising unless I had the As as it's also a paired board

H5 yeah it's really hard to be good here but I called because his sizings were really weird/small and I think some fish do this with like Ac or maybe a random pp with a club, he had a queen though

Thanks but I have enough to play higher still but I want to slowly move up, improve my game at every step and have a decent sample size where I'm beating the game with a decent winrate. Definately wise to move up slowly when you're 100% ready to move up and feeling bored at your current stakes. GL!
