Calling it a day early, running like **** and am tilted pretty fast because of my shitty ass job and hot temperatures, going for a 9h+ sleep because I need that real bad. I'm 100% sure I beat 25nl but it sucks that I never ran good yet in cash games, only ran decent at 16nl

Poker is fun.

Goal is 75k+ hands this month but if I keep running like this I won't even play half

2 winning days in a row! Also back to a positive winrate at 25nl and up ~7.5 bi after rakeback

This hand is a cold4bet about 25% according to GTOWiz and always a call after the 4b, the 3bettor was pretty tight but also the open and therefore the 3b were small, not sure how I should interpret this but feel like I should just fold like 90% of the time to the squeeze if he's tight

Only played 900 hands for the 3 leaderboards today so won't post a graph, will be playing mostly mtt's tomorrow. As it stand now I receive $60 from the leaderboards which would be great. I'm also fine with playing low volume the next days since I'm almost done with the exclusive poker challenge so won't be earning rakeback the next 3 days. After next week I have a week off from work so I can use that week to make up a lot for the shitty volume, will aim for 4-5k hands a day on average that week

First day of decent volume again, had a stupid missclick that cost me 33bb today but no big deal. Got the new rb challenge ($400), will try to complete 2 of those this month, may need to play 50nl at the end to complete the second

Very interesting blog, good luck

As for the leaderboards, do you have any thoughts on what kind of value they provide (chances of winning/rakeback percentage etc)?

Ty man, I think if you started doing since the start you would have gotten between 1 and 2 buyins per stake on average, I got around 2 buyins per stake but had one day where I got $60 so have been somewhat lucky

Tomorrow I'm going for a skateboard session and after will be mostly playing MTT's. Next week I'm going to up the volume again at 25nl

Not sure, seems like bottom of your range and he's prob capped (Not checking back sets/2p IP. Honestly think your shove is better than his call, but I don't play cash soooooo I could be wrong.

H2 - tricky spot against a nitty reg. A nitty 25NL player OTT only reps KJs(he might check back the flop with this hand against two players), JJ and perhaps QTcc/QThh

If my range is correct, you don't have the required equity to profitably call.

You need 45% and you only have ~34%

Decent day, first part was pretty annoying where I ran good in allin ev (don't really care about that) but pretty bad in general card distribution so my redline was just going down in a straight line. Was aiming for 5k hands but couldn't be arsed in the end, todays grind made me conclude that I should be moving up to 50nl so I'll start there tomorrow, I still have lots to learn and improve but I think it's better for me to do it at 50nl because the 25nl grind is mostly just slowly grinding it up against nits and there isn't much to learn from that

Thanks man! At first I thought I couldn't fold, but looking at it this way it might just be a fold, but if he also does this with his AQ/AT/Q9 combodraws it gets way closer, he had JJ btw which was the first hand that popped into my mind when he jammed but shouldn't really be in his range even with a 3b % of 3

1) Against a nit it's a fold. I would call random. They might do it with QQ or whatever.
2) If there's ever a chance he checks behind 22, you should call. I wonder if his strategy is actually half decent. Avoids all the flush and straight rivers. Some fish will call with a pair. Very few people will reraise a fd on turn multiway anyway. The only way to beat his play is to fold K6,KJ,22 and maybe 66.

Beating zoom is impossible. Why don't your graphs show that?
Former SNG pro going cash starting from 2NL Quote

As discussed above you don't know if he only does it with JJ which he shouldn't have in his range in the first place

Beating zoom isn't impossible, you just seem to make too many fancy plays and overvalue your hands too much. My tip for you is to focus more on improving than playing at this moment, watch videos like 50% of the time you are currently spending playing. Play very solid abc poker without the fancy stuff and you'll beat zoom at the micros at least

I doubt he does it with any draws. These kind of players like to just call them or raise small. If he does 3bet JJ sometimes, then prob he also bets flop with KJs sometimes.

It was a joke mate. I know one day I will learn to beat zoom. I have been playing 2 tables to concentrate on my games or to watch poker videos at the same time. I wish more people streamed zoom showing just one table. My screen isn't big enough to see 4-tabling in action.

So I've had 2 low volume days at 50nl so far, first day I lost a tiny bit but didn't play my A game, today I played pretty good imo but ran terrible. I didn't play all weekend because I was partying like the whole weekend, from tomorrow on I'll go for bigger volumes again so maybe I can still get $800 rakeback from the exclusive poker challenge

I'm pretty confident though that I can beat 50nl because I haven't seen a noticeable difference compared to 25nl, maybe there are a little bit more regs but I need to get more hands on people to really judge that.

First 2 days at 50nl:
