I am glad that you are happy with your decision to be back on USA soil. I have seen many foreigners - at least from reading online, as all of my friends over here are Latinos, the only 2 foreigners I know stuck around - panic and leave at the last minute. Which, if you do not speak Spanish, is quite understandable. As a reference : everything is in lockdown in Argentina with the army patrolling the streets. If you had a reason to be outside but did not communicate well your intentions with the authority, they would not have the time of day for you.

Sadly I think Trump has a better chance than we think. Americans are idiots, and last I saw, a majority of Americans approved of the job he's doing battling corona. The media has his back as well and rarely calls him out on his BS so he is able to spin things how he wants.

The USA will hide most of the damage. For example, I think there could easily be 500k to a million deaths from this, but the majority won't be "official" deaths due to corona virus. Even if we hit that #, the official count might be 20k and if this thing passes a month or 2 before the election Trump can claim "victory" and noone will call him out on it.

Well folks, I went ahead and bet 3kCAD$ on the Dems binking the November elections I got 1.92x (Republicans are at 1.94x). I would usually take the extra equity of betting on Biden @ 2.07x, but in our present times with that damn virus running around and Biden's age, I felt the added value was actually negative equity in this case

Eh. I don't really have any exciting stories. I basically just played poker and tried to pick up girls every day. Which, by the way, Colombia may have more beautiful women per square inch than any country in the world. I had fun though and I did start to feel at home. I made a few great friends and the people overall are super friendly in Colombia. But to be honest, I would not go back there to live. Visit, yes. But, the next trip I want to be close to a beach. Medellín is very far from the beach for those who don't know and also it's very hard to find an apartment/condo with a swimming pool for some reason??? I felt like I was getting a vitamin D deficiency while there. Medellín is a very beautiful city though. Would definitely recommend it. I'm just more into the beach than I realized before. Next trip I'm planning on a nice beach in mexico somewhere...

I've been debating if I should post an update on this thread or not. I've had a huge personal tragedy recently and not sure if I want to share it publicly yet or not.

So I guess I'll do a mini update until then. Right now I'm staying in California with family, because of the tragedy I need to stay with my family for the immediate future. Otherwise I would be in Mexico right now probably.

I want to start streaming on twitch again too. Think it would be pretty entertaining streaming some of these crazy 10/20[4] 5c plo games etc. But its not possible to do from my mom's house. So that will have to wait.
But yeah other than that life is still on the upswing. Covid has probably been a huge blessing in disguise for me. I'm sure I made more since covid started than I would have the entire year Otherwise. Sometimes you come upon roadblocks in life and are forced to adapt and it turns out to be better than the original path you were on.

So that's the update for now. Oh and I bought a new tesla model 3 a few weeks ago. Pretty excited to get it. Real update coming soon. Cheers

Yeah I did some dumb **** and got lucky that helped to boost me. If you go back in the thread you'll see a post of mine about betting like 10k or some absurd amount on the hornets to beat the warriors at the beginning of the season. I was so certain it was THE lock of the century that I wanted to bet even more, but thought that would be "too degen" lol.

The hornets won by like 1 or 2 points. Lol.

That was a huge boost to my bankroll. But I wouldn't recommend trying it. I just run amazing. I look back on that now though and think I was insane. I told my friend yesterday he was an idiot for betting 1k on a baseball game lol.

So I did degen some, on sports betting, on my way up. But, this time, I stayed away from all table games, which were the cause of my bankrolls demises every other time I went busto.

And now I think I'm done with sports betting too. Edges aren't big enough to justify the variance for me. I can put the money to better use at the poker table where my edge is much bigger. But don't get me wrong, if theres a spot like Mayweather vs Connor that comes up, of course im taking it and for a decent chunk probably too...

Then I was able to abuse merges bonus deposit system for a nice chunk before they banned me. So that helped a lot too.. But other than that it was all poker. It's been 100% poker for awhile now..

And yeah I use pretty aggressive BRM. I'm probably not "properly" rolled for the games I play in lol

Do it with a million dollars like some people I know your making $60,000 a year.

Real estate is getting you in the red (debt) normally and here in australia anyways its hard to make income from your properties unless you outright own them and that takes years. Most of the time its negatively geared and when tenants don't pay or trash the place costs you even more.

$115 gross a week from dividends is a start though. Something you could do when you hit 200k and take 100k of it and do that.

Also if you wanna trade which you can lose your shirt doing you can make serious money. That's where the real punters are not like the ones in casinos.

And you almost bet on Trump winning the November elections as well
