Forced to drop stakes...

I have been a live player for my entire career and have played under rolled for too long... got away with some stuff in the past that I probably shouldn't have. I know if I don't practice proper brm I won't make it in this game. I must turn to online poker if I am going to drop stakes... Any advice for which site I should deposit on ? I don't live in new jersey or Nevada or Canada so I feel my options are limited . Is Bovada the play? and any advice on grinding low stakes on Bovada with about $1,500 set aside for poker. I was thinking about multitabling some low stake cash games and mixing in some mtt's and s n g's as well. Like I said I am new to online play but not live play so any advice on making the transition would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Forced to drop stakes...

The games are going to be tougher online than they are live, not sure if you are aware of this. GL

Re: Forced to drop stakes...

I prefer ACR to Bovada. But really there are pros and cons to each.

ACR:

Pro: decent selection of games and tournaments, player points seem decent.

Con: Lots of server problems lately, constant DDoS attacks to cause tournaments to be suspended and cancelled. Long late reg times for just about any tournament.

Bovada:

Pro: Seems to be the softer of the two sites, fast fold poker is available, pretty easy to get money on and off.

Con: Anonymous system means no player names and no long term notes, cant see tables so you have to put your stake and table conditions into the program and hope there is a game running, point system leaves a lot to be desired.

Hope that helps
