The only difference I could see between the expensive one and the really expensive one was number of threads it'll utilise... functionality looked the same.

Idk what the expensive one is called but the difference is that it can do preflop solving

With pro u can run scripts and aggregation analysis

last one is Edge, pre flop was worth it for me but there's monkersolver now that does multiway

Daily Review - Monday 19/02



Got utterly smashed today. Two sessions, one morning before gym, one evening after gym/nap. Played for about 8.5 hours total and managed to net a surprisingly high 327 hands per hour. That's really good considering I was expecting maybe 250 hands per hour.

Morning session was absolutely dreadful in every possible way. But I've learnt a bit from it. Couple of the cliffs,

A) Much more difficult trying to get tables up in my AM than it is in the evening and
B) I was probably playing sliiiightly too loose preflop.

So during my break I thought long and hard about my preflop strategy and was able to fare a bit better. Still plenty of adjustments to make and plenty to learn but I'm happy with how it's going so far.

In other news, my agent has totally fk'd my account... I've been playing in some clubs that aren't sending results to my agent and all the numbers are out of wack. Complete nightmare looking at the names of Chinese clubs and Chinese user IDs trying to piece the puzzle together to get everything back to how it should be.

Numbers in the last two days alone are about $800 out from where they should be (agent saying I'm down $600 when I'm actually up $200). SMH lol

Anyway, it's about 1:30am now and I'm going to head to bed. I'll probably get up around midday tomorrow, go to the gym first this time, and then play form about 2pm-2am (in that window anyway) because it'll be easier to get tables open etc.

inb4 somebody tells you I TOLD YA SO on messing with the agent stuff

Not sure, haven't played enough to know whether there are bots or if it's a problem. I'm sure we'll find out. =]

I've had the same thing happen, the good news is they log it all longterm in accounting with admin so it'll get corrected once they figure it out. Usually just a missing player tag for that account

Daily Update - Tuesday 20/02



Half decent day grinding today. Got absolutely pummeled this past hour though, didn't win a single pot it seemed.

Smashed the legs at the gym this arvo. New gym has proper platforms and I got some heavy deadlifts in. Going to be in soooo much pain tomorrow.

Plans for tomorrow I guess is more or less the same thing as today. I didn't sleep well last night though and I'm insanely tired now (4am). So hopefully I can get a decent sleep tonight for a nice long grind tomorrow. Need to remember to go outside and lie in the sun for a bit and do gym at some stage as well.

As a once-a-week live rec player who puts in about ~550 hours a year (and has played exactly 0 on-line hands), this kinda blows my mind. Like, you played 1/6th of my whole year yesterday, lol.

Does this **** with you at all when you play live, like WTF am I doing playing 30 hands/hour (albeit I'm guessing in a much better game)?

Real quick update today because I'm tired as fk. Dropped like $1.4k today - ran way below EV but also got into stupid spots. It seems as though whenever I flop a set, villain has flopped the silliest of straights OR they just check/fold? Madness today.

Also I fk'd up. I left my accounts Boosting and H2N recorded all the HU HH which completely fk'd my hand count for the day and ruined graphs. Shts me off you can't remove hands from H2N, so I've started a fresh database this evening. Was at about EV10bb/100 over the 8k hands in the old DB from earlier in the week. Hopefully I don't fk this one up.

Back at it again tomorrow!
