Landed in Tokyo yesterday, spent over 24 hours travelling yikes.
Had first meal already but Idk if I should update with pics as I go along or do a big TR when I'm back?

Whatever feels right, we re all drooling for any type of updates over here

Enjoy Japan. If you have the opportunities, why not trying dining at Jiro sushi (near the fish market in Tokyo)? A lot of people said that is the best

First meal when we landed was a bit of yakiniku. Was okay, not as saucy and mouth feel as some other places we've been to


Breakfast day 2 - pretty hearty breakfast at a fast food place. Pretty good though, the potato croquette was great and super crispy


Was pretty tired last night after massive day of shopping so we grabbed some gyoza at a bar near our hotel

Seems like our meals have been pretty oily lately lmao, I'm sure we'll eat a bit more healthily soon...

I wish lol, this will be booked up for months!

... Or maybe not more healthy rofl. Yoshinoya for breakfast hah. So packed each day that we just have to be eating quickly and moving on. Going to an exhibition right now so that should be fun!

From teamlabs borderless exhibition. Highly recommend if you guys are in Tokyo! My gf making me take a basic blogger picture heh. Real nice use of lights and projectors at the exhibit!


Predinner snack heh. Hot coffee bottle and burger from convenience store. The small square thing is a bite sized crepe. Mine was choco and banana, gf had a sakura mochi one


Dinner at standing Japanese bbq place. The piece of meat shown wasn't the best but decent overall

Pre morning snack before we finally get a bit of sushi for the trip haha. Had Danish today and tried the curry bun yesterday

So we went to the ramen museum in Yokohama tonight. Totally terrible museum btw lol. But they have a ton of ramen stalls downstairs where you can try a variety of different types of ramen from including soy sauce based ramen, salt base ramen, spicy miso ramen and tonkotsu ramen. Every one of these stalls serve half portions also... So, of course we hit up 3 different ramen stalls lololol.

So good. And each one has a very different taste and texture.


Salt based broth chicken ramen
Bit thinner broth, lots of flavour, harder noodles


Tonkotsu ramen
Bit thicker soup, less salty, very garlicky and imo a bit richer with softer noodles


Spicy miso ramen
Seafood tasting soup, thicker chewier noodles with a thicker fattier slice of charsiu.
Unfortunately it was least favourite of the 3 but the charsiu was good!

Favourite one was the salt ramen

Really full after those 3 half portions and pretty ready to conk out now haha. Would recommend to people who are short on time and want a quick ramen tour!
