Of course, I also played basically 0 volume today rofl.
Did manage to get my ass to the gym though. Lowered all my weights across the board by 3 sessions worth [so 7.5kg for most exercises and 15kg for deadlift]. Finding that I'm getting a bit of pain in the upper thigh region whilst squatting so I'm trying to figure out why as well as making sure the movement is performed properly.
No surprise, but finding these weights a *lot* easier this time around than the first time!

Spent the rest of the day grinding it up at the lower stakes but was pretty tough. Played a whacky 2 hour session at the end of the night 10 tabling that turned out okay but very hard fought. More of the same story though, lost at higher stakes, beat the lower ones and that's pretty much how my year has been.



On of these days I'll catch up to that EV!




Going out to the gym now before heading to the countryside for the weekend, should be a blast.

Month started off pretty shakey where I ran myself into the ground and had to claw my way back out Volume is *great* though cause I played a lot more 500z and have cut out 10/25 fully for the time being. Likely not gonna play it until I'm mostly out of my current downer (Since last week of August until now).



$23k to go! Woot. Not that I'm happy about losing $23k but it sure feels a lot nicer than losing $45k lol.

Missed gym for a week because of poker. This always happens. When I'm winning I tend to only want to play when I'm playing A game, and start to pick&choose my timeslots. When I'm losing, everything becomes a poker time slot whether it's grinding or studying.

So naturally because of the downswing, I just put poker as priority instead of gym. Now my weights have to be deloaded (following the program), zzz. Oh well, it's a lifetime goal anyway I guess.

So haven't been playing much at all. Spent most of the past week in Italy with le gf and got back on Tuesday night. Stayed around Venice/Verona area and got to see some great sights. Personally not that fond of the food in those areas but I suppose it's because they're catering to tourists like us who don't know any better (make it expensive and roll out the food heh).

Was a pretty tiring trip, spent so much time walking around, legs were killing us! But I guess it's prep for a bigger trip to Vietnam in a couple weeks. Really can't wait for that one.

Sorry about the hiatus, have been in Vietnam the past couple weeks, first time I've been back to my mother country in 10+ years. It's still developing but has really changed since then.

Had a really amazing time going in a group of 8, ate some delicious cheap food and saw some beautiful sights. Started off in Ha Noi for all the great coffee and food, made our way to Ninh Binh && Ha Long Bay for the sights. Then it was off to Da Nang & Hoi An for some relaxation at the beach before finishing up in Ho Chi Minh city for the cheap eats!


Train tracks, Hanoi - These train tracks run in between people's homes and is still running twice a day


Store selling old propaganda posters from the 50s-70s, Hanoi - You'll find these stores in a lot of places in Hanoi, really cool to see some of artwork around


Ninh Binh - had some cold brews with this view at night


Trang An, Ninh Binh - little boat tour around the landscape complex where I had my first drone flight and shaky landing


Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge - that one hype bridge everyone talking about. ^dat me in the grey top


Ti Top Island, Ha Long Bay - went kayaking in a lake on one of the islands at Ha Long


Landscape surrounding Sung Sot caves, Ha Long Bay - flew the drone around here too!


Cafe Apartments, Sai Gon - a whole block of apartments that were turned into little cafes, foodie places, pretty cool
