Not even worried about the runbad coming soon, apparently I'll deserve it
Last night's games were seemingly insane. Today's not so much. Haven't played as much today as I would have liked either, ended up going bouldering for much longer than expected.

Example of the insanity:

$5 PL Hi FAST (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BTN): $1,004.50
SB: $500.00
BB: $1,665.03
UTG: $2,180.75
MP: $1,463.52
CO: $460.52

SB posts SB $2.50, BB posts BB $5.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $7.50) Hero has K J K 4

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $17.50, SB raises to $57.50, fold, Hero calls $40.00

Flop: ($120.00, 2 players) 2 3 7
SB bets $87.75, Hero calls $87.75

Turn: ($295.50, 2 players) T
SB bets $292.50, Hero raises to $585.00, SB calls $62.25 and is all-in

River: ($1,005.00, 2 players) 5

SB shows T A K 8 (One Pair, Tens)
(Pre 38%, Flop 19%, Turn 20%)
Hero shows K J K 4 (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 62%, Flop 81%, Turn 80%)
Hero wins $1,002.00

Not my standard all the time, but heh... When someone's going nuts, sometimes you gotta go nuts too.

tl;dr of the month
- Played 5/10 this month. Got pummeled but think I played fine in those 188 hands.
- Played almost as much volume of 500z as 200z this month (26.4k vs 33.8k), got in some sick zoom pool times too.
- Got so many chests and made 'bout treefiddy on them
- Swingy end to what could have been a super great month, but I guess it happens when you add higher stakes

Hi z0mg

I'm playing Micro PLO atm (10zoom) and had a good start at the beginning of my grind (32 stacks up) in 17k hands roughly. However in the last 5k hands I dropped 14 stacks and I just couldn't do anything about it. I managed to keep my redline in the positive over this 5k sample, but I just lost most showdowns. W$SD% of 40. What would you say is an indicator, that I'm still playing my A-game in this situation? Is there a specific stat, that I could look into? W$WSF is 43 over that sample. Over complete sample of 21k hands it is 46.

I know, sometimes there's nothíng much you can do than just take the beating and stay positive. Just wondered, if you have any advice.

I don't think redline is super relevant, as long as your green line is healthy

If only there was a stat to tell you that you were tilting, eh? I don't think WWSF/W$SD are relevant to whether or not you're playing well. If you're running bad then of course those numbers will be lower.

Best thing to do is to go over your own hand histories and see if you would make the same decision post-analysis as you would in-game.

Definitely have to try to stay positive.

The main thing that kept me sane is knowing that the run good will come back. Riding out the bad waves less painfully is all dependent on how well you can control your tilt. You might be doomswitched to lose -10bb/100 over the next 20k hands, but if you tilt it might end up being 3x-4x that amount.

Hi Zomg, really cool seeing you again, been a while since i was at 2+2. And last time you were crushing it at NL.

Would you say PLO is much more fun than NL?

Best of luck <3

Indeed, I did not win more than Pokerstars last month, sadly.

It's not pretty but at least it's green again
Proud to say most of the volume & profit has been at 500z! 13.5k hands so far and will continue to put in more hours there this month. Hopefully this is the breakthrough I needed?
