Hmmm, updates.. Well.
Life-wise, I've just put an offer on a lil property and it has been accepted. Much excite and also anxious about it tbh, just the typical stuff like cold feet about whether the property is worth it, if it's good location and whatnot. Property stuff is literally never finalised and set in stone until the keys are handed over but ya know.
Bouldering, I actually had many secret sessions and became a V10 climber. Unfortunately I caught the vid over the Christmas period (
) and thus am a V1 climber again. The first bit may or may not be true and I may be a V1 climber out of lack of training. 
Poker, it's been okay. The last half of the year has been more stressful than the first. The downswings always come when you're really hoping for the uptick it seems. Or maybe it's that when you start setting milestones and play as though the money matters, wanting to hit those goals that's when you (or I, at least) play the worst poker you ever play.
Some of you may have railed the games and seen me battle with one of the big boy names. That's probably one of the biggest and swingiest matches I've ever played. Like, ofc, I think I have an edge, but so much of playing vs him is just mental game. There have been days where I wake up and see him at the lobbies and I think to myself.... "Nope, no heart attacks today, tyvm".
And then there are other days that I psyche myself the heck up for a battle for 30mins and he tells me "Maybe later" rofl. 
I've mostly tried to focus on playing like the money doesn't matter but the truth is it's really tough to play that way when you feel like something is on the line.
I'm not gonna drop a number in the thread of how much I made on the year. I will say it's still my best financial year so at least you guys can work out how much it's over.

it means he got really good (to highest rated level) at completing short and technical climbs done without ropes because it's low enough to the ground that you can lay down a mat to fall upon
