I could not agree with you more. I switched to NL in 2017, prior to that, everything was limit . In 2018, the data has been reviewed on a monthly basis to gather more insight on where i perform better and on what days of the week.

Played ½ NL for 2.5 hours from 9:30pm- 12:00am on Friday 8/31/18
Result: -132
High Hand promotions were $750 every 30 minutes with only 1 card needed to qualify

There was only 1 hand of note where I called an all in with Qh Td on a Qc 5s Th board where the LAG villain (straddler) shoved $75 with Qs 5d only to catch a 5 on the river. Not being results oriented, I feel good about the play.
