Let's keep it brief.

In an effort to fix my most enduring and spewy leak (tilt/spew/braindead river calls) I'm going to keep a stack off counter, like those health and safety notices you see on building sites...

XX days since the last accident...sort of thing.

Every time I spew a stack (or say anything over half a stack) on the river, I reset the counter to zero and post the hand (so this thread will be almost nothing but spew)

Rules:

Must be spewy...(maybe some borderlines, we'll see).
Must be half a stack or more.
May include some big bluffs (if they look spewy, not otherwise)

For reason that I do not need to bore anyone with, I'm currently down to 10nlz, moving to 25nlz when I've won 10 buyins, samo to get back to 50 nlz.

We off and running...

First sesh (usual FB derisory volumes apply)

Counter is at 550 hands with zero spew so far.

2 buyins up/8 buyins to 25nlz

Counter is at 1027 hands, no spew.

500+ hands in a sea of fish, staring at total filth. yea, wp me.

1 buyin down, 9 buying to 25 nlz.

28 WWSF? You sure you're not going overboard and folding too much now? Only teasing, probably sample size thing more than anything. Good luck, and keep the counter running high!

It occurs to me that if I don't spew soon, this will quickly break all records for the most boring pgc on 2+2. I'll have to think of some sort of thread saver...something that befits my age group.

Turn is a clear check (to my x villain would be capped if he x's back and polarised if he bets, mostly for value, with a low expected bluff freq), so I can mostly fold perhaps call a very small turn bet.

As played I just spunked half a stack on the river.

A factor in this...first hand of a session at 0530 am, and of course I was seduced by the 9, which changes almost **** all.

Why do you bet 1/2 pot here on this board and in a 3! pot, we are going to get a lot more folds OTF and i think 1/3 pot might be slightly more +EV maybe?

CU calling range vs SB might be a bit tighter depending on villain, but OTT i don't see that much worse that is calling like i don't see villain having much 8x/9x in his range but i guess you are trying to get called by draws which there are a lot, yeah villain has a lot of bluffs here but if you think he is going to just call most of them then fold sort of tough spot?
