Hey, what's up guys!
Happy that I finally found the time to open this blog. I want to use this place here to keep myself accountable, add some extra pressure on myself and of course to just simply have fun. I will keep this short for now and add a few more information in the next few weeks.
Lets first start with the longterm goals
1)Earn $1 MIO USD until my 30th birthday (March 2022)
2)Low stakes to high stakes within 1 year (Minimum NL 1k)
3)Considered Top 3 CG PRO within 2 years
4)EPT or WSOP win until March 2022
Short Term Goals
1)NL200 by 1.5.
2)NL400 by 1.8
3)NL600 by 1.11
First I want to mention that I am aware that my goals may sound ridiculous. I like to set high goals to keep me motivated and I sincerely think it is definitely possible. I have an amazing content strategy and I am very confident in my work ethic and learning abilities.
Brief intro to my current Poker Journey
Started my journey on Party Poker NL25 on the 7th of January earlier this year. Had no idea what I was doing and thought the regs there would probably feel the same
However realized quickly that the competition is actually better than I expected and had a "longer" BE stretch until I got rid of some major leaks and felt confident enough to shot NL50 two weeks later.
NL50 was an interesting experience since I felt a lot of regs weren´t just there to hand random people their stacks but thought a bit deeper about hands and ranges and therefore had some more struggling to move forward.
However, by the end of February, I had a decent win rate of 5 EV BB and decided to shot NL100.
That is also the limit that I am currently playing. Even though I consider myself one of the better regs by now I still try to do good table selection, because I think some regs definitely have an edge on me, respect them a lot and don´t see much sense in reg battles.
Tried by the end of last month my first shot on NL200 but honestly, I don't think I am rolled enough to play the stake and while I was shotting it there was almost no fish on the tables and decided to keep working on my game for a bit more until I try it again. So my main goal at the moment is to establish myself on NL200 by the end of the month.
I will provide a screenshot of my cg results below. Of course, you can argue it is kind of a joke me talking about winrates and seeing the sample size of my hands. I try my best to be as rational as possible when it comes to the evaluation of my skill and place my feeling at the tables much higher than the actual win rate.
