I feel kinda tired for last two days, not being focus at the tables, almost feels like i'm trying not to lose to much instead of thinking the spots.
Maybe i'm little bit fed up with game ATM cos i can't wait to take days off and go on a trip.

Anyway, writing this down might help. Gonna take a break and push things trough!

Hi all!

Not the best week for me, especially compered to previous one. All in all it was kinda hard for me to sit at the tables, not sure why, maybe it's like i said that in my mind i'm on vacation already.

Nevertheless I have one more day to play before i go and for some reason I feel good about it. I'm gonna do my best to finish strong and then take two days off from poker cos i'm working both days and got stuff to take care of prior leaving.

Hope you guys had better time at the tables than me!

cya

Hello everyone!

I'm back from Prague and already at work. I'm gonna write little bit more about the trip after I get some photos from our Chinese camera look alike guy Daniel...

I hope I'll manage to do it this month cos this week I'm facing heavy work related schedule before I go to another family 10 day vacation on Saturday where I'll spend no time on poker. Well at least not during the day I'll might read some of my notes during the night to keep myself sharp...

As mentioned before we (Gordon and us 4 students of his) decided to meet in person since we are working together one way or another for over a year now. Originally we wanted to meet in Croatia, but someone is afraid of flying After much discussion we ended up in Prague since we are from Slovenia, Croatia, Poland and Germany and it was kinda convenient. Gordon is from everywhere so he doesn't count :P

Purpose of meeting was ofcourse getting to know each other, having some life sessions, doing fun activities and talking about improving BPC. Basically having some fun with productivity along as poker player is used to doing things.

Finally hotel Corinthia was booked and we were stationed in VIP rooms with all the benefits, which is something I experienced for the first time. Most of the stuff, like swimming pool, sauna, gym I even didn't use, but it was nice knowing I could.

Prior the trip I looked for fun activites that we could do there and we decided to try Paintballing and Go-karting. It's funny how things are cheaper if you do the research and look for things by yourself rather than giving organization to someone else.

Anyway, having all that set, Hans and me choose to drive there. I met him one day earlier cos he had to arrive from Croatia to crash at my place in Slovenia before we headed to Prague the next day. We woke up at 7am, drank some coffee, I said goodbye to my family and off we went.
It took us ~7h to get there with minor set backs on the road, but we switched seats so it was not such a hassle as I thought, cos I don't like driving at all. I don't really know any other poker player in person so you can imagine that we had always something to talk about and time just flew by.

We arrived at hotel at ~3pm and again by not being lazy we found a parking place ~100m away from hotel, which was 4 times cheaper than parking in hotels garage, on top of that it was infront of police headquarters, so I felt pretty safe leaving it there.

Later we met with others and after accommodation and introduction we went out to grab a bite where we also met with a friend of Gordon who joined us in rest of activities afterwards. After setting up schedule for future days we went to beds since we were all pretty much beat up. Except for Hans who was already lurking for a game in hotels casino, but couldn't manage to find one running.

Both next days started same: with a breakfast at 9am, meeting later on with a live session or business discussion about improving BPC and I must say listening to Gordon talking was like being in a movie Wolf of Wall Street, (without all the banging hookers ofc :P ) - man knows how and what to speak.

Afterwards we went to:

First day: Paint-balling
Location: somewhere underground looks like big ninja turtle sewers/basement.

We booked 2h of action in 2 different terrain scenarios (one of them was used for filming movie Wanted with Angelina Jolie - allegedly) having unlimited bullets. Too bad they weren't filled with actual paint but made from rubber so you have to be fair, and shout out when u were shoot. Well if u didn't then u had to suffer by being shoot multiple times... But i guess it makes sense otherwise room would look like walking on a rainbow with all that shooting. Gotta admit that ilidek was best at it, I guess all that tilt has to come out somewhere

Second day: Go-karting
Location: **** if i know, somewhere in Prague

Even tho I don't like driving this was awesome! I mean the overtaking, trying to be faster than others - super fun for me. We booked 3x 10 min and after second ride others (read pussies) needed a break cos their hands hurts too much. Last round was a disaster... me and Hans both broke our karts and Ilidek was crashed and later run over by others resulting minor leg injure. Oh and God don't make me forget to mention someones blister on the palm of the hand

Afterwards we returned to hotel put our heads together and do some business related stuff again prior to going out for a dinner. Last day we watched Germany vs Ghana in a pub, where you could see Daniel in total different state than normal, cheering and screaming even when nothing major happened. We finished the day with bowling and it was already 2am when we came back to hotel for a short sleep cos we headed back home at 7am.

All in all super experience, would do it again in a heart beat and I'm glad that i met those awesome people in person. Prague itself I didn't like so much. Concrete everywhere you look, all houses look the same to me. Funny we were walking down the street with 3 cops infront of us, but that didn't stop locals approaching us offering striptease coupons and asking if we need weed. I guess i prefer more small villages with lots of nature around than big cities.

Pokerwise: bruhhhh

What looked like that it could be best month turned to be the worst. I just can't book a winning session for last couple of days. Again feeling of getting owned for longer time which lead to some chicken play mistakes. With RB is a little bit more than 2k€ but i'm not happy at all.

I'm off to family vacation for next 10 days and I'll be returning recharged and ready to study, work and crush it.

GL all!

Hi all!

I'm back from nice, much needed, exhausting holiday and I'm ready to grind again. Already put 8h today, taking it slow to get back into things. Did some stupid call down and some to thin value bets but quickly regroup myself and finish only in small loss for the day.

Goal for the rest of the week is not playing more than 3 tables and ofc getting back in routine of pre-session preparation and studying.

It feels so good to be home and not working, just poker and normal life. I put volume needed and find myself wondering is this possible? So much free time? Feels really good and it just motivates me to keep pushing myself further until i reach this freedom. Putting daily 8h feels so easy without regular work on top.

I played for 11 hours yesterday mostly running bad and I'm proud of myself that in the end i still managed to crawl back from the hole and made small profit. I've noticed that nowdays I don't feel scared or sad whenever i'm down to a player when i think i have an edge over him, like i used to be. Now i just try to focus and wait for oportunity. I used to have fear that longer i play one guy, more of my leaks he can find, now i see it oposite, longer i play him, more leaks i can find. Trying to do that with more tables running is stil a challange.

Today is my sons 1st birthday and I'm very proud and thankful for him. He's a fast learner so far, walking before 11th month, imitating bunch of animals noises and things way before that, calling family members and ofc speaking alien language, pointing to things he wants and nodding with his whole neck, not just head, like being on a rock concert - funny. He's an eater for sure, everybody are amazed of how much he can eat, that includes stuff that are not food too grin Funny, he's not chubby at all, maybe cos he's really active. You should see him when he's hungry, slamming with his hand on the table like a boss until he gets his firt bite. Ahh, makes me smile just writing this.

It's also an anniversary of working with Gordon and other members of BPC and all I can say is that i'm thankful for this opportunity and hoping for many good years to follow.

Hello, sweetswing1

Hmm, it's something that comes with the game. I guess i check my game more than normal?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've started working with Daniel on some goals implementing during the game and afterwards.

I have many of them but I'll focus on two at most. Lets see how this goes.

First two goals to focus on are:

- villain selection
- analyzing showdown hands and taking notes during the game

Which are in a way connected with each other.

Well I don't wanna say to early but those two goals are very cool so far. They made me think more intensively and making me focus on details. If i was able to grind for 4h straight before I'm forced to take brakes after 2h now, cos otherwise it feels like to much. I rate them each session and will then summarize them at end of the week.

July is over and it doesn't feel like summer at all here, more like rainy April. Luckily we had nice weather on vacation and by having such a lousy weather, grinding inside makes it more appealing than on beautiful sunny days.

Anyhoo, despite having shorter month cos of the vacation I had best month so far, both money and improving wise. I'm super happy about that and I hope i continue this way. There is still much more room for improvement and other goals to accomplish.

Here is the graph of welcome to the 4 figure pre rakeback club

I'm pleased to tell you that starting next month I'll begin coaching my friend, who's gonna keep u updated about his progress in his blog. More about that and him there.

Coming soon.

Tnx!

About job;

It kinda sucks atm cos my wife lost her job and so i'm left with mine plus poker. Now i know it sounds great +10k month but there are other stuff to consider, like i need some savings first, repay all my debts to bank, Gordon etc and i wish to have more such months before i make any life affecting moves.

It's not like i just quit my job and voila. I'm also in my company apartment which is a lot cheaper than flats on the market, so i'd have to move from here, bringing additional costs.

For now plan is that my wife finds another job in let's say next 3 months, when she does, i switch to half time work and if i continue this strike in earnings, most of my debts is payed off and we can start looking other places to move and then slowly getting to my goal of being full poker pro.

It doesn't look so good atm, month started nice, but then went down faster than this...

Month so far:

I'm super angry of my self about two stupid river calls, but other wise they are in God mode.

Awesome. How many hours a week do you typically spend on poker and of that time how much is spent studying, reviewing, coaching sessions etc?

40h of play + coaching + reviewing = ~50h

So Friday was kinda off for me, I was working whole day, lost my USB key, came home tired without a will to do anything and so was the result at the tables. I just couldn't focus.

Saturday was much better feeling and result wise and I also found my USB key .

Today I woke up after exhausting night shift, grinded for 3.5h hours, picked up my family and take them to swimming pool in Austria and it just amazes me how can they have higher life standards, better pools and yet cheaper tickets than in our country. I mean common 8.3€ for 2 adults and 3 kids. We are such a banana republic...

Anyway we came home, grinded for another 2h and here is this week:

Both things are inevitable guys

I can't believe that there is such a difference in behaviour between boys and girls as toddlers. While my girls were pretty calm and quiet, this kiddo of mine is total opposite. Smashing things, screaming for no particular reason (not pain in the ass way, but more of trying out with sounds like way), not being gentle at all, just BAM-BAM-BAM... On top of that he will do exactly the things he is not suppose to, like pouring water out of bathtub, digging in the trash can, throwing things... and he even looks at you like what are you going to say about it...
Looks like time when we are gonna set boundries for the future. He is smart sugar otherwise - no doubt about it and makes me laugh more than anything.

Middle girl is going to school in September and she's freaking smart I tell you. She gets thins in lightning speed not just math stuff when she can already subtract and sum numbers up to 100 with ease and even up to 1000. She already know how to multiply and even divide, but we haven't worked on that too much yet. She can also read and write too but what amazes me the most is how good is she at getting life things. She is like an adult in tiny body - hoping this doesn't backfire at us in the future.
Guess what she wanted for a 6th bd... A freaking globe, so she can look out for countries.

The elder one is more of a free spirit type. She doesn't care about grades or school at all, but she is very creative and here imagination is working 100%. Sometimes it feels like she lives in her own world, i guess she got that from me. We are facing teenage problems soon (we already caught her explaining some bees and butterfly subject to younger one) - that shall be interested. Nevertheless she gives me the feeling that she will always know how to look out for herself, no matter what.

Describing my wife would take to much time as she is just perfect!

Spoiler:
o boy, i'm gonna get laid when she reads that

I did lost a 200€ bet today against her, i don't know why i thought that Jonathan Loughran played in Dumb & Dumber. I confused him with Mike Starr. I'm gonna be teased for quite a while cos of this. What would I get if I'd won? It's to notty for public writing

About new series to watch; I'm giving a go to Curb Your Enthusiasm - i need smth short and fun
