Had another bad day after last post, basically hit stop loss cos of NL400 so i'm dropping it again for rest of the month to recover loses.

Next month i'll give it another shot after i make 5k first.

I haven't played much last couple of days cos i'm working on mother in law's house. First day working with my hands felt great, it was good being outside and doing something different for a change rather than sitting behind computer.
It didn't last long tho cos today that feeling was totally gone! My whole body hurts from doing all those different moves and i can't wait to be done by that.

It got me thinking tho about what i want from life. I definitely want to play/earn with poker and i'd be satisfied w $70k+ per year. Another thing is that i don't want to work whole day every day but i think between 30-35 hours per week is ok and I'm positive i can achieve that in near future.

This month didn't end so well, but that's ok. I'm gonna put a lot of effort on learning next month, marking hands, writing strategies, asking questions... Don't wanna put money goals so i'll stick to that and see where it goes. Rule about adding NL400 after/if reaching 5k in month before end still apply.

This month:

Do you table select hard?
How many hours in the last month, I see you played 23 days?
Do you play many sites?
Great work and determination.
Well done

@SerUrPainWme
I need to take care of my financials first, like paying of credit, finish staking deal, make some savings for "dark times"... but i will start part time work in July.

@Liftoff
Yes.
40h/per week on average.
Yes.
Tnx.
Tnx

Heyhoo, new month new grind... which started horribly. Hitting stop loss first day, running terribly but wont complain about it. Almost recovered losses today, so yeah, that's poker.

A heater would be welcome cos i excepted a competition with a friend about who earns more money from tomorrow til end of May counting limits from NL50-NL200.

From series i started watching The 100 and Resurrection. Got hooked pretty quickly altho i like Resurrection more.

Keep up the great thread man, i have sick love for the employed/self employed who take to the games to grind in the current climate.

Whats the deal with your stoploss? Interesting to hear your thoughtprocess and reasoning as to why you would use one. 2nd question of the back of that, does this mean you need to work on your tilt management?

Stay strong!!!

Tnx for the support!

Well for starters it feels good to have "insurance" that i can't go on monkey mode and lose to much. It's not about tilt anymore, not til stop loss is reached at least or let's say i wouldn't know how would it be/playing wise if I go over stop loss limit and i don't wanna find out. When i get hammered it also feels good to say f you, tomorrow is another day, cos it's not a great feeling playing w bad run at least not for me. I rather work rest of the time on game or just simply relax.

It's seems to me like there is always one room that f***s me over for the day and some guy gets it all. Meh, i was back up, I'm slightly down now, but sooner or later everything is gonna work out alright and then it will be better. Patience.

Working on a house is postponed for... I don't know how long till my muscle slightly above the wrist stops hurting. Funny, i don't remember hitting myself. So it must be like inflammation of the muscles or smth from all those repeating moves with trowel, it hurts like hell while rotating the wrist.

Gonna see doctor if it doesn't heal soon.

Something is wrong with my net or some rooms, cos some of them are reconnecting all the time and some not. It's annoying. It's a beautiful day outside and i've promised my kids to take them to a zoo few weeks ago. Gonna fulfill that promise now and grind later hoping net will be more stable.

Have fun, i'm of to the animal world!

I didn't wanna post early since i'll do the weekly report today and not playing tmrw. I'm going to the house/stone project tmrw since my hand is better.

I'm so glad that i finished reviewing videos and taking notes of last couple of days. I usually leave that for work, but since i was on vacation the vids just piled up and i felt this pressure of to-do list. So now all is reviewed and i feel relieved.

I also decided to start with part time work after 1st of July so i'll have to find time to study poker at home which is kinda new cos i always tried to put as much volume as possible while home and work on other poker stuff at work.

I still can't write ten finger fast without looking on keyboard, so I'm taking this online courses trying to improve that. What can i say, feeling like an old fart :/

I am asking this every time . There would be no mercy if he didnt have a family and 3 children.

Volume never lacked, i really don't know how he does it. All of us twenty somethings without family and job are so much more lazy.

We have a saying guys... it goes smth like; Nothing should be hard, when you have to do it!

The weather is ****ty and I've been without energy or in a bad mood the whole day. It was even hard to think about poker, cos my mind just wasn't there. Luckily there were no hard thinking spots while playing so it didn't affect my game.

I've been working on this typing skills and i see improvment, but taking test today, i just wanted to smash keyboard for making so many mistakes... I did complete beginner course tho and looking forward to next one.

I've tried to play without a HUD today and i find it fun and interesting as long as i play one opponent otherwise it takes to much focus for multitabling.

I feel little bit chaotic with all the stuff going on in my mind and life atm. I find my self grinding without breaks and way over the time i originaly planed to. It started to show on my kids and it hurt's when kid comes to you and says that she misses you even tho u are in the same room with her most of the time.

I've gotta change that and for starters i'll start using note app (also getting a smart phone for the first time) - i choosed google keep (no particular reason), where i'll plan my day ahead and even tho it suks that u have to write down let's say "15:30-18:00 -> play with kids/be with family" it's gonna be way more than now, i just have to make most out of that time.

It's gonna be even easier when i switch to part time work (even tho i wont "save" much time, cos of the every day driving) but at least schedule will be fixed and i'll have things in some order...

Yey, finally received smart phone. Not some expensive one, but KingelonN8000 (got it on aliexpress), some Chinese look like samsung note copy, but for 100€ including customs taxes...

Testing it out and looks good so far. I know some of you would say that it's not the same as original, yadayada, but it's good enough for me and it serves it's purpose, which is, telephoning, messaging, email, skype, taking photos, apps, games and even playing poker???, so basically everything :P

Talking about organizing life and writing things down... Epic fail today.

I forgot that it's my wedding anniversary  Luckily i was there when my wife received congrats sms from others to see her surprised face. There goes her chance to rub it under my nose and saves me from precious moments she would otherwise have for next couple of days.

Bonding with kids is improving. I even broke the bed while trying to cuddle her before bed time... Fatso

I've been neglecting session preparation recently. I used to check hands from previous session where i invested more than 20bb and read one chapter of poker book and one chapter of my notes. Now i just sit at the tables and play.

I'm gonna make that a habit again!

That way i can spot same hands where i'm missing proper play and take my game to next level. Coach is also gonna listen to my thought process and hope we find some leaks to improve.

The idea to check previous hands before session was great. Not only i’ve marked hands that i have additional questions about additional scenarios, I’ve also marked some that i know answers but want to go trough them to confirm thinking process,

We have finally decided where our 3 days BPC meeting is going to be and i’m super excided to meet Gordon, Daniel, Hans and Ilidek in person. More about that after the meeting which is from 19th to 21st of June.

Hi Bertz! A year ago he put out a challenge on PS called Champion stand up one more time than the rest, i applied, prove me worth, and then been lucky enough to be chosen by him.

How do i grind so much? Well, by planning the day/week ahead, having a super awesome wife, having the will and determination... It became my life. It does not come without sacrifice tho :/

..............................

Pretty good week for me. I added NL400 tables and drop NL50, only playing some of them on particular rooms. Obviously some good run involved but i felt pretty well at the tables and confident.

Not happy with some bluffs, gonna check that and fix it.

I was on a hike trip to mountain top (well not that high, I think it's ~1400+) today and it felt good going out I'm obviously in lousy fitness condition, but still manage to do it without stopping. I just have to get over first "heavy breaths". Going down was always easy for me, i actually ran, jumping like a gazelle Luckily knees and ankles are still good.

I didn't know that there are rules in bet sizing???
