Heyhoo, everyone!

So another year is behind us and is time to sum up things. As you know or not, I was playing 6max SnG’s 20-50$ for the first part of the year, where I was little bit above BE and earning small with RB. I don’t know exact numbers nor do I have any more data of it. I deleted it all when I decided to switch to HUNL game, which was always an interest of me, but I wasn’t roll for it and kinda afraid of it too. I finally found courage when I watched Gordon’s video series about Champions stand one more time than the rest, as “cheesy” as it sounds it worked for me, at least giving me a push to do it.

So I bought his course and venture into HU world on my own. Boy, lemme tell you, it was a totally different world from SnG’s, at least for me. Naturally I had some troubles at the beginning, that is until I got lucky (besides working hard too) to be accepted as his student.

At that time my boy was also born, which gave me opportunity to stay at home and to devote myself to poker and the program. Looking back I see that I sucked at poker, I’m not saying that I crush the game now, it’s still a long road ahead, it’s just that now I’m good enough to know how to make money of it and that I’m looking forward for what awaits me in the future. It also feels superb to have someone watching over me. For all that I must thank my coach.

I mean, **** me, man knows what he’s doing… It’s not just about the play, it’s about all; game, tilt, work ethic, life, pushing boundaries, learning, yelling, laughing, the whole package.

Also a special thanks goes to my wife and family for their support and understanding!

Enough said, still a lot of work to be done, so here are some facts:

Before coaching graph:

After coaching graph:

This month:

Best winning day:

Worst loosing day:

Rake paid:

Current status: Happily married, 3 children, full time job, playing HUNL 50-200

Happy, healthy and rich New Year too all!

Not much RB as you'd think

Tnx, guys!

I hope your new year started well cos i'm BE so far. It doesn't matter much tho, cos i played only small amount this week. Post new year visits are finally over and I'm back at the game w full dedication, starting tomorrow!

I haven't set any money goals or any other specif goals for this year. I just want to improve my game and not give up, no matter what!

However i did asked my brother to return my "How to make 100 pushups & pull ups..." book to get me back in shape a little. When is he going to return it is another matter... no pressure there grin

I figured, push-ups and pull-ups with occasional running is all i need, maybe adding some handstand and grip exercises if i fell like it.

Still no big changes in winnings, really swingy so far Will post weekly graph as usual.

Coaching is back on track, after all those holiday days, so i have new material to work on.

I've finished w 6th season of Dexter... You know how most of the series get worse from season to season? Well, not Dexter, even tho content is basically the same, i find each one interested with superb season finales. I hope it stays the same for last two one. Even my wife, who usually fall asleep watching other "mutual" series is awake during this one.

I keep forgetting that you don't have to be genius in order to win at this game, at least not at limits i play. Sometimes it works out sometimes not, maybe that's why i'm having this swings. Live and learn i guess.

Only note so far xc xc fd, x R hit

13th hand, limper

What's your plan on the flop and turn (assuming you call flop so psb is left and he shoves) if the turn is 7,8 or lower than T or higher than T?

SB: $110.33 (55.2 bb)
Hero (BB): $200 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A T
SB completes, Hero raises to $10, SB calls $8

Flop: ($20) 9 T 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $15, SB raises to $30, Hero?

Week :/

I'm at home for next 3 days, which means 10h/day sessions. First one is over with small profit, hoping to catch some good run to make some $$$. I do however feel strange tingling in my nose and throat, so looks like more days at home, but with a cold :/

For my next task I'm gonna go trough my database to see what are people doing in 3b pots, focusing on my 3 streets call down hands.

It happened, i got sick so I'm staying home little longer. Not happy about it, cos i do feel like **** so instead grinding more, i'll divide the needed time over more days.

My son has six months tomorrow so we are celebrating a little... Women

Better week for sure

I've noticed i have better results if i play shorter sessions with longer breaks, like 2h of play w 30min breaks, i'll try this method for time being.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7 J
SB raises to $3, Hero raises to $10, SB calls $7

Hero bets $15, SB calls $15

Turn: ($50) 9 (2 players)
Hero ?

What's our plan?
No reads, he won previous stack in 3bp w TPBK.

Also for those who still might have problems with notes in HM2 or slow issues, this is what help me so far:

Solution Instructions:
Step 1: Restore Default Settings:
First try restoring your default settings, often some settings files can become corrupt and cause these issues:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...fault+settings
NB: If this step is successful it is very import you send us the backup files as detailed in no.2 of that FAQ otherwise the problem may come back and we need those files to reproduce it and fix permanently.

Step 2: Set files to run as administrator
1 - Go to C:\Program Files\Holdem Manager 2 (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)
2 - Right click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3 - Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator"
4 - Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for HudFuncsApp.exe, ThirtyTwoBitIPC.exe and tablescannerdllloader.exe

Back on track with everything... grind, learning, work, health... beside working out.

Reading Easy Game and loving it, it makes so much more sense now that i know some stuff and it's almost like listening to coach.

Dexter is finished - loved it. Next on the schedule is either Chuck, The Wire or Games of Thrones.

Tnx, will give The Wire a shoot!

My parents had a 25th wedding anniversary and we were invited for a nice lunch. Nothing fancy, we the kids and grandchildren. We where having good time, when i felt warm, happy feeling inside me by looking at them.
I realized that i have nothing to complain about, all in all I'm happy w my family life. But we want better for our family and i'm glad i finally found a way to improve that in the future, so keep on working!

I'm stopping for the day, wasn't feeling like playing in the morning which resulted in some bad play, so i took a break to calm down. Later I had coaching and started playing normally, when a maniac shoving everything sits me at NL200... perfect time for my luck to disappear

The Wire starts out easy...

And then once it draws you in it ends up being hands down the best TV show ever made.

Monthly recap:

I'm pleased w results and also with my game improvement. I have to work on those days when i'm card dead and easily feel owned, which results in some bad plays. Sometimes i make some decisions to fast, which is another thing to work on to earn some more bucks.

Brother has returned working out books to me, which means that we start sweating on Monday - with easy pace

You beat me to it!

I never thought i'd be in such a bad shape after almost 7 months of no working out. I started out real easy with some light push ups and pull ups... boy, no strength at all comparing to before!

Poker wise all good!

Family wise my boy is getting his first tooth, drooling all over the place!

Tnx, what's your game?

Had a day off yesterday. Today I'm not doing so good as I'm close to stop loss. I played one guy on NL200, felt edge, winning small pots but got unlucky in big ones. Meh, I'll play one more BI then stop, i hope we can turn things around.

Second day of workout went better, even tho with all the soreness i managed to follow the program and felt pretty good afterwards. It was a dilemma involved tho, while i was driving home from work (working all day) my wife text me if i can pick up hamburgers along. It was 19h and couldn't decide what to do... Either eat first and wait for another 2h before i'll be able to workout or starting with workout right away and then eat. In the end i did workout before eating and eating hamburger so late didn't feel so bad cos of it That's why i love short 20min workouts

I finally decided to switch to PT4. It took me some time to adjust HUD as i want it, but boy... it was all worth it. No more lag, even with browser opened and it got all other functions that i use in HM2. Self note system is also great but i have to look into it for some adjustments. Only regret is that i didn't switch sooner. Down side is that it doesn't support PKR room, which i wasn't fond of anyway...

Anyway weekly graph:
