When you have kids and they are sick (which happens often) you're doomed to get sick too. And that's what happened... I'm sick, fever, headache, joint pain, back pain... so i was in the bed whole day, mostly sleeping. Went to doctor to get some drugs and I'll see how i feel tomorrow and try to grind some.

Take care!

I feeling better so i will start my normal routine from tomorrow. I did manage to play some small sessions when i felt ok-ish over the day and it also felt good to just lay around and relax. I'm up like 500 or so, not much but let's continue this way and finish strong.

One follower asked me if my life has changed looking in economical way of life, now that i earn little bit more money...

The fact is that it hasn't. That's because i cash out only round 400€ per month out of earnings to replace shortage in my financial part for normal living, especially now that my wife is without a job. "Normal" living for me means all bills must be paid and that we have food on the table. OK, maybe now i can say; OK, here is 50€ so we can repaint the apartment or if some unexpected financial expense comes, like birthdays, car braking down, wardrobe for kids... so those stuff are manageable now, which before I wouldn't know where to get money from. All the rest of the money goes for CFP and some i save, so that in the end, I will have a roll just for playing, which i don't touch. That way I'll be able to accomplish my goal of quitting the job.

So yeah, it hasn't affect me so far, nor do i think that will happen in the future, as i never really cared about the cars, fancy clothes, bitches... I'm more in the category if it serve the purpose then it's OK by me type of guy, so i don't need those fancy stuff. It did affect me in a way that I don't care anymore what happens in my job, I mean, they can say all they wan't I just don't give a damn - maybe that's why it's a little bit easier to go there now.

What am I gonna do first time solo, is that I'm gonna take first earned 4k$ out and take my wife to honeymoon, which is she still waiting for since the wedding. I'm thinking Australia or Caribbean cruise.

After that who knows, we do need some small house, to get out of this rental flat, I'm thinking small place and then prefabricated house so i don't have to mess with all the building ****.

Rest of it, I just want that my life is going smooth, don't need much, but be able to take my family to vacation once in a while and give kids what they want/need - not too much, so i don't spoil them. And not being like before, where i looked in my monthly plan if we can take them to the movies...

I've just spent my whole day with family at what seems to be last picnic this summer which had decent weather, actually it was pretty warm. We had some grilled stuff and later on some chestnuts. I feel refreshed and ready to dive in next week. Poker wise is getting better and I'll start adding some NL400 tables soon if it continues this way. Good luck to all!

Not much going on lately besides standard stuff, i did however started to think more deeply which hands to cb on which boards and how to continue on later streets. Time to do some of table work, which i'm not that into overall, but I think it's gonna help me.

Great Thread!! For those of us pedding at the lower stakes of HU. What are some things you would advise to work on away from the table e.g. All-in equity calculations; constructing ranges to cbet flop/turn etc?

TY! Go trough your hands, posts hands, ask questions, watch videos... that should be prior to finessing your cbets etc IMO. Get your self decent winning strategy and then work on getting it better.

Oh man, just saw this pictures from Maldive sent by my friend who took a vacation there with his gf. I can't believe that places can be so beautiful, i mean you always wonder if the pics on the net are somehow deceiving but he says it's exactly like that, so I got to see this someday.

And there is this friend of mine, who went on a monthly trip to Asia with bunch of other friends which they are also blogging about it - BLOG. I mean if I was without a family and playing poker, that would be a must thing to do for me. It's perfect, you travel, go wherever you want and you only need net now and then to make some money.

The fact is that I don't even know how many beautiful things are there to see (and I'm not talking about modern man made cities but natural wonders or some ancient stuff) cos i never wanted to even look in those things since i knew I can't afford it and it would just make me sad.

So that lead to talking with my wife about such possibilities in future and i think it's a cool idea to grind over the year and then whenever kids have main holiday we go on a such monthly trip, each time different continent or so all over the world and visit many places that i couldn't see before.

OK, waiting to shoot my first strategy video with Gordon, something I would never imagine doing a year or so ago. Funny how things change, all i wanted was to learn how to play poker and get some additional income... Now, I'm coaching others, shooting videos plus doing some other stuff... as Gordon says, CFP is not just about making money, it helps you develop as a person and I can see more and more of that. Man has incredible drive and I don't know how does he do it, so kudos to him!

Today i had very strange sessions, i found out what can tilt me. And it's seeing 4 straight or 4 mono boards over and over again, demolishing your TP or 2P+ value hands, and they fkn always have it by the river. It was unbelievable how many of those happened. That was just in the morning session while i was slightly down. Good think that we went to visit family for a lunch and to say goodbye to my brother, who is going to Kosovo on a military peace mission.

In mean while i had time to think those spots, and i convinced my self mentally that it's part of the game, just stay patience and things will turn around.

It helped and I managed to grind back to nice profit when **** hit the fan again. 4 straight or 4 mono boards, argh!!! Lol, ok whatever, i just find it unbelievable that they occur that often. Maybe is just in my head cos I happen to had a decent hand each time which was contradicted so i was more aware of this. Maybe I'll play with filter a little bit to see how many of them i had.

Going to play monopoly with kids now, watch a movie later and finish the week with "straightening" my marriage!

GL!

I hate this time of year! As a matter of fact, i dislike pretty much any time of year except summer!

Again illness strikes my family. First my wife with angina and now kids, so i guess i'm next soon. On top of it, mold is coming back no matter what i do, no matter how much i ventilate the apartment, clean and repaint walls with anti mold paint, even bought those moisture catchers, same thing... It's not like i have black walls cos of it, cos i regularly clean that, but if i'd leave it i'm sure that would be the case.

We are already looking for new apartment cos that's really not good for our health and we would have to move anyway when i quit my job.

OK, rushed home from whole days work, coached a student, had intro with another one and played and hour. Not bad month but i can do better. Had some little aha moment in 3 bet pots this month, which is always good.

Not the best start of the month, not horrible either, so I'll just stick to solid stuff. Got other stuff going on my mind atm, maybe more about it in near future.

So far good start of the week and as always occupied with work and stuff. I'm also looking for new rental apartment but it's difficult to find something decent. I definitely don't want it in the city, cos of the kids and looking more on the countryside. Like finding needle in the haystack I tell ya.

I had a rough day 2 days ago. I caught myself tilting leading to some light call downs which is never a good thing when you're not running good. No need to tell you that I almost hit stop loss. I think it happened due to pressure of must play, must get hands in, must meet hours playing and so many other things to do which were flying on my mind.
As soon as i don't have some stuff that i need to do written down and planed time for it, it feels like a burden and it distracts me. Can't wait for my life to somehow stabilize and that i get into the rhythm.

Small profit this week due to hitting stop loss today only after 3.5h of playing. Everybody on steroids, but let's focus on something else... I finally did it... I QUIT my job!!! I gave my resignation to my boss and it's already confirmed. The only thing left is mandatory period before leave due to contract (don't know the correct expression for that).

Feelings are overwhelming when you go to your boss with intention of quitting. I mean I've never done it before, i was working here for more than 12 years and it was my first official job, so i felt everything from excitement, fear, happiness... you name it. Funny, all that time over last few years when you're thinking of what you're gonna say to him if you ever quit your job, cos he is stupid or whatever, is gone as soon as you're actually doing it. You just wanna be done with it and move towards new things, hopping for better and leave that **** behind you.

Anyway, that's done, we already found new flat where are we gonna stay since we have to leave this company apartment. So from 15th of January next year I'm free agent on the job market ... but don't fight over me cos I already have something in mind and will tell more about it in when the time is right. Deadline for movement in sometime in March.

I've just spent the worst night since I can remember. I finished my last hand yesterday when i felt growling in my stomach so i had to quickly run to the toilet. Since then i throw up like 10 times during the night, sometimes ****ting and puking at the same time. Funny thing is that it wasn't just me, also my wife and my middle one had same stuff going on. I feel so weak atm, that I just wanna sleep. Fkn, viral infection.

I think i came to my comfort zone which is not good. I kinda make good earnings, i definitely know more about the game than a year ago, but i should push even harder to make an even bigger jump in the game, but it feels like i wanna rest in this zone for a moment. I have to make a plan how to overcome this. I certainly don't want to lock myself in the room and study the game, i think a mixture of taking it easy and study is a way to go. Step by step before i get too mad. Starting with improving my 3b game.

Week started great but then i hit a downer for like 3 days where I could save some money if wouldn't make some stupid calls. But hey, you get more aware of it when you're not running good so i guess it's good for something. Otherwise i did not work on my game as much as i'd like to cos it's like I'm feeling holidays already and I'm looking forward to spend some Christmas time w my family.
