Nothing much happening, but me grinding as usual. Personal life flows in normal line, which is good, just nothing to write about.

End of week, going to visit both families
(read free lunch )
Good luck Rovar!

Do you have an graph since the start of this thread? It would be nice to have an idea where you are heading with your results from a bigger perspective.

Tnx, I'll post it in the end of the month...

Not liking the start of this week, to be more accurate last 300 hands on NL100... Every time i find myself with kinda biggish pot in the middle, i end up with worst cards. Good thing is that i feel comfortable at the limit, money scare-wise.

All in all NL100, doesn't like me so far, one site particular.

Recovered some losses, all of it today cos yesterday i was BE. I'm starting to learn that patience has much saying in this game

Today i played my worst poker, wasn't thinking things trough, not taking notes, wasn't sure why i'm doing certain plays, etc... I was down quickly so i decided to turn to simple poker and not trying to exploit everything, just doing simple stuff. In the end i recovered some.

Glad this week is over, cos i want a break and relax myself to start fresh next week. I was mostly grinding this week and not working on my game, i even noticed doing same mistakes again even tho we talk about it w coach previous day - it's called you're an idiot!

Another thing, lately i have feeling that i don't get good cards, so it's so goddamn hard to fold a decent card, when it's obvious you're beat - such a costly habit!

This week:

Later we are going on a bd party, i wanna get slightly drunk, you know, to have super time and not over do it

Tnx, Husker!

As always, when you're not doing so well, you work extra on your game. So i'm going trough my hands even more than usual and even tho i'm not running so well, i do find a lot of mistakes which are mostly discipline oriented.
So funny, it's like poker is telling me, "No good hands for you, until you master this first!" In a way i'm glad this is happening now rather than later.
One thing is certain, i'm so fkn motivated to get this thing right!

I'm having a real roller coaster of emotions and play for a while now. I can play one day as best as i can and then the next day like a wreck. Guess where did second day start...

Another week behind me, which was over on Friday for me - poker wise. That left me with poker free weekend.
Yesterday I helped my brother with painting his apartment, then he came to my place where we drank some "bambus" (mixed beverage of wine and coke) and played Fifa 14 on XBOX. Fkn hate this game, same flaws in gameplay since 2006 or maybe cos he beat my ass in the end?

Today, as usual, visiting families, having some chestnuts and drinking must.

All in all:

I do have a question about one hand:

2nd hand in the match (first one was played by him, donk/call F, donk/call T, donk/shove R and i folded) so no additional reads.

Hero (SB): $100 (100 bb)
BB: $160.16 (160.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9 7
Hero raises to $3, BB calls $2

Flop: ($6) 5 4 K (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3, BB calls $3

Turn: ($12) T (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8, BB calls $8

River: ($28) 7 (2 players)
BB bets $146.16 and is all-in,Hero ?

What's hero calling range on the R?

I'm without net and TV til unknown, hopefully only a day or two. Guy who was digging up dirt for replacement of new water pipes for whole neighbourhood accidentally cut internet cable due to improper markings - banana republic.

Small profit over last 2 days.

My net was back on Friday during the day, but i have my day planed already cos i never thought that it would be so quickly, so i played yesterday instead. Afterwards i went on a bd dinner for like 3h, cos you know that's the time you have inbetween feeding time for the baby

Poker wise, i'm starting to feel some changes in my game to better, i can't say specifics, but talking to Daniel and ofc coach, small pieces are coming together.

True that, but we always want more

Not my proudest month result wise. Don't get me wrong, +1k is still more than i earn otherwise, just that i was kinda expecting every month to be better - so silly! At first i felt a little bit sad, not just cos of the result but overall with the project, cos i was expecting to much. I was like yay, I've got coaching now, I'm gonna be rich!

But there is no magic pill, cards still fall as they do, i still have a lot to learn, work on my game and be patience overall. No matter what it takes or how long, i'm gonna get it done. I can be only thankful for this opportunity.

So no whining, bring it on!

I played small sessions during the weekend, all together 8h. I think i'm going to keep this routine so i don't have to play so many hours during the week. I might play more on some days, depends of the mood, but generally keep it around 8-8.5h per day.

This is because days are getting shorter and i'll spend more time w my family, while there is still some sun around. So sessions in the morning til ~15h and then one shorter at the evening.

Love the series, one of the top!

Meh, i'm not so much into posting hands anyway.

---------------------------------------------

Since i'm feeling more comfortable at NL100, I'm adding some NL200 into my game, you know, to keep it interested and uncomfortable

I'm also not so comfortable playing aggro monkeys, especially if you run like ****, but i guess on a good day they are most welcome. I hate feeling of being owned, but once you over come this and you stay disciplined and play solid poker things get easier.

Looks like I'm playing to emotional poker, i'm not a machine, but slowly i'll improve that, like when i feel nothing if i go ai pre and guy suck out on me. Same thing is when i know i made play 100% right, it doesn't bother me at all what happens.

I guess not being sure in most spots makes me emotional. But that's why i have a coach who can help me with that. I'm experimenting the best way for me to improve learning.

Today i tried marking hands and typing questions that pops into my head immediately into hand detail.

Tomorrow I'll record myself for like 20-30 min and talk about what and why am i doing things.

BTW, thanks Daniel!

Just keep working on your game and forget about setting any monetary goals. It just puts you under needless pressure and can affect your play.

Easier said than done, but you're totally right.

I just finished worst day so far, winnings and running wise. Enough said, don't wanna bitch about it but... man... I hate river.

It was not enough that i got owned in every room i played by everyone, I also tried playing on PKR for the first time. Kudos to those who can multitable that with other rooms. Half of the time i didn't know if i was the btn or BB, was it my turn or not, on top of it, it gave me nice welcome of running into NFD w my 2nd NFD...

Tomorrow is another day.
