In MTT's, only the top 15% or so of people are going to cash, and the rest are not going to cash, so it's common to go 0 for 3. Keep playing them and you are due to make a good run. Lots of value in those tourneys.

So last night I didnt play long and lost and when I was done I was frustrated and didnt even want to come on here to post. Anyways I'm here to update last night before I start my grind for the night.

So i played like for 20 minutes yesterday and couldnt focus. I recently had a bad break up after 2 and half years and just havnt been right mentally. I lost 11 dollars in 20minutes playing stakes i shouldnt have. Then decided to go out and get drunk....Anyway, I'm getting myself right and I'm not leaving the house tonight, its time to grind. Im down to $140.

How does global poker work sort of new to this whole thing, i understand you can only cash out sweeps cash? But how do you have a chips balance thing like the pictures in your thread atm, and how did you convert the gold coins into chips/real money?

Could you explain all this to me i'm so confused, but want to start playing so bad...

When you buy gold coins you receive Sweeps cash for free. Coincidentally, its the exact amount that you just spent on them gold coins!

But i saw an option to buy 3.75m gold coins and you get no sweeps cash, ...

So the only way to get sweeps cash is through the daily freerolls, and buying the gold coins which is like depositing real money.

Thing is i don't see a buy option for like 5000 sweeps cash what if i wanted to make a large deposit, i see they have like 200nl games going on there wouldn't it be pretty tedious?

So guys I havnt posted because I been going through some **** with this whole break up. Ive been in a pretty dark mind set and not grinding and going out and spending money and getting drunk and some other dumb ****. Anyways, I'm working on myself and trying to get right. I'm trying to change my mindset to just grinding, getting better, make it to the big leagues, and make this girl regret everything. She really ****ed me over after doing so much for her.

Anyways, one night I got drunk and and came home and hopped on global and played 50nl. Lost hald of what I had. I'm currently sitting at $74. Im getting on now to grind all day and night. I'm now single and decided not to go looking for another relationship or even pursue anyone for awhile and just work on myself. With that said, I'm going to try and come home everynight after work and just grind instead of going out. Going out might make me feel better at the time but in the long run I'm just hurting myself.

So, lets get this grind going and any support will be greatly appreciated.

Dex, it can be done but you going to have to learn some discipline. I'm up to $218 now from my $2 but I've been grinding. .02/.04 till I got to $150, now .05/.10, probably stay there till I get to $400 or so. Make a plan and stick to it. So far you have been a spastic gambler. Jumping around, playing tired, playing drunk. If you can't be more disciplined you won't have success. It really is that simply.
