This thread is going to serve as a reminder for me to stay focused and to gain back some discipline I have lost in the recent months.
As an Australian I was under the impression that online poker was off limits, that was until someone told me that if you had an account on ACR before the legislation was passed you can now access and play on the site, lucky me I made one long ago but never deposited as crypto was still quite new and scary to me at the time and all I really wanted to do was rail the big games.
Like most of you I have the generic story of discovering poker while in my early 20s not really taking it seriously at the time and then moving on with life in the meantime.
Fast forward 5 years, I have just left the military (medical discharge) and during my downtime while working on my rehabilitation I rediscovered my love for poker and I started consuming all the content I could find on Twitch and YouTube.
Now that I am able to deposit and I have the downtime to really put some hours in I think this is the perfect time to attempt something like this.
During my downtime post injury I have fallen off with my mental and physical health as well, I became a lazy alcoholic who started to blame the world for their problems instead of just accepting that this is the cards I’ve been dealt so that too shall be a priority whilst conquering this.
I am a Sydney local who sometimes dabbles at the star casino a little more then he should, which again will be something else I work on.

In my spare time I love to stay physically fit and workout as best as I can, I also enjoy watching poker on twitch or YouTube. I have aspirations of international travel towards the end of the year once the boarders open up, I always said as soon as I was out of the army I would head straight to Vegas for a holiday. The ultimate goal for me would be WSOP 2022 assuming the world is back to some sense of normality.
The rules for this challenge are as follows:
Strict 80-100 Buy-In Bankroll Management.
Must workout 5 times per week.
On Saturday-Sunday-Monday I must workout before I stream.
No Alcohol, No Casino, No unhealthy foods.
Playing MTTs, SNGs.
May shot take to 40-50 buy in games for value tournaments.
Interact on forum/discord study group about hands from day before.
Build confidence in my game and aspire to greater stakes.
Starting Bankroll $140 USD.
