GL on your challenge buddy. How aggressive BRM u think I should be taking? I was thinking about taking a shot at 10nl when I hit 200 if that. How much u have in your roll now that your one tabling 25nl?

AK- just seemed like a weird line based on his position. Fwiw, is it wrong to say best options are fold>shove>call

The call/min raise line most often means KK+ which makes a call or a shove bad. So it's fold >>>>>> call/shove. Perhaps calling is the worst as you can still be behind even if you hit your A/K but you must x/f if you don't.

I started taking shots short stacking 10nl when I had around $150. After a couple thousand hands I ran decent and realized the regs are no better than 4nl and started buying in full. I went most of June only checking my balance/results maybe once or twice. I opened up 1 table of 25nl along with my normal 10nl tables due to confidence and how well I felt like I was playing. Looking at your stats for the past 25k hands, I assume your confidence is riding pretty high. I think this is a great time for you to mix in some 10nl. Just play exactly the same way you're playing at 4nl and you will have no problem provided you run around expectation. I checked my cashier at the end of June and I have $300. I'll probably just focus on grinding 10nl till I get up to $400-$450 before I start mixing in 25nl again. Since the buy in is 2.5x more, it's a little more riskier than the jump from 4nl to 10nl.

15 buy ins is a bit risky isnt it? I know I can easily play at that level but I dont want to risk my whole bankroll when I could just grind more 4nl and safely be rolled for 10nl so I dont have to worry about running bad and it killing my roll. Glad to hear your doing well at 10nl fwiw.

KQo in the SB. I wouldn't make it a habit to just flat OOP with those type of hands. I would either 3b or fold. You're just gonna leak bbs playing those hands OOP.

I understand what your saying about being OOP and all but it is only 4nl and do not want to turn my hand into a bluff. I would rather raise flops as well as win money hitting TP/second pair type hands getting 1 street of value and checking down then raising pre at these stakes. Against some ppl I might make a thin 3b but I usually like to have a bunch of hands on them.

Yup I miss poker stars and full tilt. I used to load up so many sngs on stars and miss rush poker on FTP.

oh god i hate rush poker lol since i was unable to beat online cashgames b/c i tilted in em rush killed my roll so many times lol....... But iv gotten more control and cant belvie i beat 10k hands of $4NL that used to be impossible. Idk i guess the eazy click of the button made me lose a **** ton of money in cashgames lol

I played more than 10k hands so far but I only started with 25 bucks cuz I was afraid to deposit alot of money. Hopefully your 10nl shot goes well.

One of the more interesting hands IMO. Villain is a good reg who likes to fast play FDs but on this board im sure he can also have some sets and not that many bluffs. I do not have the read that villain will stack off with the draw tho. I had intentions of calling villain off prob just jamming turn against a DB but villain checks. I think villains range is mostly FDs or maybe an oddly played 99. I check river w the intention of calling a bet but when villain shoves it made me more inclined to fold bc I think hes just doing this w 9x.

The AJs hand: I would have double barreled but x/c'ing has the advantage you won't be raised (pot control).

The QQ hand: W/o saying it's the best play I often fold OTF as there several bad cards you don't want to see and you're OOP. Villain's line is quite weird but I would have folded too.

AJ- only problem is that we do not gain any information from this line and if were raised villain is always never doin it w worse.

QQ- Given our read it seems like a weaktight fold otf.

Against the same villain once again only reason I called was to play against the fish. The T9s hand: I would have folded too but I'm not sure it's fine. It really depends on what kind of fish he was?!?

JJ- I overshoved bc of his stack size
AK- I shoved cuz villain was really bad as u could see from the other hands
T9- mp was the fish not the guy who shoved.

Also the 22 hand I think my line is fine bc of how aggro villains image is.

The T9s hand I think I made a mistake by folding bc villains limp calling range is pretty weak in terms of relative hands that beat mine. Additionally, I have not done the pot odds for equity of a breakeven call but if I were to guess it would be something like 35% if not less.

After starting this challenge about a month ago, I do not think its going that well. I think I need to work on playing well in general and not tilting. This goes for live poker as well and I am kinda disappointed where my winrate is right now. I am not losing faith in this challenge bc this challenge has made me play alot more with my busy schedule but rather has shown me where I need to improve. I think it is hard for me to play my most effective style at 4nl bc of the stakes and general ppl not giving me enough credit for the lines I take. I have changed the way I started this challenge with the mindset of playing and thinking about every hand carefully and bluffing too much. Whenever I sensed weakness I would raise and it did help my winrate short-term but not long-term. Before I realize it, I will be hitting 30k hands at 4nl and I just thought my BR would have increased alot more than it has. Wish me luck guys.
