Not writing a long intro, just saying i'm a 100NL reg playing iPoker/WPN. My main goal for this year is starting taking shots at 500NL.

May goals: (I'm going slow on this month, since i'm moving to a new place and facing a lot of work packing and carrying stuffs. also my birthday was yesterday and i decided taking some days off. my sister's bday is by the end of the month and we are going to travel for some days. so no grind after 25th.) + final exams on uni

- 20 grinding days
- 30k hands (only reg tables/only NL100)
-Build my new computer for PIO's sims
- 2k usd profit (this should be ~15bi profit playing on a euro site, rakeback will be counted as well).
- Start running every day in the morming
- Going mostly on a diet and eating clean
- Finish Modern Poker Theory's book
- Print my Pre Flop charts and put in front of my wall

i had set this monetary goal so if i achieve, i will have the perfect bankroll to play nl200 properly. so that's my goal for the the last month of this first semester. started 2021 playing z50 and starting second half of the year playing nl200 would be pretty dope. let's hope everything goes right

I'm not sure if setting profit goals on a month to month basis is a great idea, since 30k is a pretty small sample in the grand scheme of things. I've played 10nl to 400nl on WPN, and the swings can definitely hit you hard over a 30k sample.

But as long as you focus on the process, keep up the great work ethic, and keep putting in volume I'm sure you will succeed in the long run!

First 2 days of grind: (ev is overrated lulz)

yeah yeah i know bro. have more than 1kk hands played online so i know the side effect of variance on this game.

it's not actually a real goal, it's just something i'm looking for, but obviously not going to change the way i play to hit this number.

KT hand I can def see a lot of people showing up with QT, J9, 33 or sometimes K9 here

He flats open first then flats the squeeze, I'd probably fold against a guy like this

He has 3 combos QTs/2 combos J9s/6 combos 33 and 1 combo of K9s. (assuming he should raise some % his 33, he's only having 12 combos OTR.

for bluffs he has 4 combos 54s/some A4/A5, some busted fd. some garbage stuff fish always have. with 35% pot odds i'm happy calling blocking QTs + unblocking spades.

frequently we have to make a decision which will bring us to loss most of the time, but in this case, if we are winning just 36% we are showing profit. i do agree this spot is usually underbluffed by the population, but the price is too good imo. what do u think? obviously that's not a spot that i think i'll win most of the time, but yeah, you get the point

Sounds fair, I currently play 10nl and if a fish does this they have it 95% of the time so I'm folding a marginal top pair. I'll have to adjust when moving up for sure

Edit: I'm playing zoom only atm and I guess fish are a little less bluff happy there aswell compared to reg tables in general
