Hello 2p2, DonkeyRide here.

I decided to start a blog to keep myself motivated. Recently I have been
struggling to put in a decent volume. Question to all mass vol grinders:
How do you do it? Some grinders just always seem to be online.

Ive played up to NL200 in the past, taking some shots at NL500 but due to
circumstances I am forced to rebuild again. About a month and a half ago
I jumped back into the games playing some minor NL25 and about 80k
hands at NL50 playing fast format (almost) exclusively. That went rather well.
I will be playing 50z and I may have to stay there for a while having to
support myself out of the current roll. Long term my goal is to get
back to 200z and evt attack 500z but lets take one step at a time.

About my game:
I am far from a technically perfect player although I feel like I have a decent grasp of GTO.
However, my approach will be as exploitative to the extent I feel I can get away with.
I'm trying to focus on quality about quantity, taking notes and taking time for each decision
and thats why I usually dont get passed 600h/h.

Monthly goal:
Play at least 60k hands <--playing it safe here, but secretly hoping to play +-75k
As I progress I'll try to put in more volume, but not at the cost a burn out.
I'll try to update as much as possible. Thats it for the first post, thanks for tuning in.

Results since I started playing again:
Spoiler:

Lets go!

Thx. Im calling it a day.

Couldn't get myself to grind more than 1k hands. Ran pretty well but feeling
kind of tired. Been busy moving to a new place for the past 4 days so now
it seems to be getting to me. Also won some 75$ testing out GGpoker.
Any experiences with this network?

Tomorrow hopefully more volume. May fire up some lowstakes MTTs on the
side to keep me at my desk. But lets get some quality sleep first.

Tough hand vs twotabling unknown. Tend towards hating my call holding
Q but due to his larger sizings I only need 25%. Also I doubt he ever
triples AK - still not entirely sure what to think of it.

Today was not too eventful. At least managed to get in some decent volume.
My game overall was rather poor. Just too much B-game autopiloting.

Put in (I guess) some 500hands on GGpoker for about $70ish profit and bit more than
min-cashed the sunday storm. Having been down about $350 during the day
this still feels like a win. Lets try and play another 2,5k hands tomorrow.

Really had to force myself to play that 2.5k hands.
If it wasnt for this blog I'm pretty sure I'd not have done it.
Lost half a day in picking up and assembling new bed.

Made some huge blunders today but luckily the field blundered back.

How about another 2.5k hands for tomorrow? Hopefully I can build a routine
to grind some 4k hands daily.

Tyvm. Glad someone reads this although my blog seems very boring right now.
    That I hope will change.

As for today: I did hit the volume target and thats all the good news.
Played horribly but did not get punished too hard. Considering to buy some
mental game content. Any recommendations? (as long as its not Jared).
I just dont feel capable to get myself to play my A-game. Decisions are
taken too quickly and too emotionally so Im pretty sure its not even +EV
to be grinding right now; but then again, a man gotta make a living somehow.

    Tomorrows goals:
    -Go for a long walk
-Grind 3k hands but only within acceptable mindset.
-Have a healthy meal for the change.

Yesterday was very productive. Did not get to update blog because I was too
tired by the end of the day. I finally made some work of my mental game flaws.
Bought RIO essential and was listening half a day to Leszek Badurowicz
    - the writer of Mental Edge. It feels like my eyes got opened in so many ways.
I dare to say that within one single day I have made more mental progress
than in my entire life before. Now ofc I need to back it up with actions.

During afternoon I went for a long walk in the countryside. Its just amazing
to witness the healing powers of mother nature. I want to make a habit of
these. During the walk I was listening to Leszek's lectures and by the time I
got home, some 2hrs later, I felt like I was born again.

Now I have worked out a session preperation of 10 minutes, something I've
been neglecting my entire life. Along the way I read some comment that
sounded like: Every battle can be won before it even starts. I liked that bit.

I am aware of the fact that when playing my A-game I can be an enormous
pain in the a55 to whoever finds himself on my path. Now I strive to A-game
    as much as possible.

In the evening I had some guests so I did not get to grind at all. By the time
they were gone it was very late. I tried to grind a bit but the fatigue got to me.
I twotabled for half an hour trying to be fully aware of all the concepts
I've been learning so the gameplay was even slower than usual.

Ate a salad for lunch so its been a 2/3 day.

[x] Go for a long walk
[ ] Grind 3k hands but only within acceptable mindset.
[x] Have a healthy meal for the change.

It feels like a 5/3 however

I'll finish this update with two pix I made during yesterdays walk.

Goals for today: Continue to work on my mental game and play my A-game.
    Volume not important this time.

I am sorry, Im sorry here it is.

Been very much into mental game for the past week. Realized quite quickly
that posting daily updates on 2p2 doesnt make too much sense. Also realized
what an UTTER DONKEY I am when it comes to mental game, discipline and
being organized. Ive been watching some Leszek Badurowicz on RIO lately
and boy, have my eyes been opened. Cant believe Im into this for 8 years
and I suck so much in terms of mental game. And yet I've been winning
    decent amount during that period.

Ive started preparing myself for sessions, taking breaks every 20min or so
to check upon my mental state, and I finaly organized my tasks from urgent
and important to not urgent and unimportant. Im still struggling to put in the
volume I should. Putting in volume is not a problem when I'm down, but
when Im up I just look for reasons to quit. Thats because I feel bad after
losing and great after wininng (familiar?). Given that we have no real
influence on daily results and that we play worse when losing this qualifies as
a catastrophic habit. I urgently need to change that. Ideally I want to get
to a state when I dont have to check the cashier every 10 fkn minutes but
rather once a day, and later work towards longer periods.
Right now I am short rolled and as stated earlier really need to make the
money to support myself. Its far from ideal to play with so much pressure
but that's something I can not change right away. I hope to be able to take
first shots at 100z within two months, but I need to have two very good
    months for that to happen.

As results go I went on a 22bi downswing but manage to upswing it back
even harder. Also hit 100k hands being a very nice 10/100. Guess that WR
will have to drop but good hope for it to stay up high being aware of all the
    mistakes I made.

    We shall see.

Thanks and GL with the stream. I may tune in some time soon.
What are your streaming times and game/stakes?

Short update: Got back some insurance money which put me in position to
take a few shots at 100z. I started rather poorly (4bi down) but then went
on a heater. So hope this works out and I dont have to grind 50z ever again

And because giraffes are lovely to look at:

Would be nice to hit the 20k mark by end of the year.

Hello 2p2 its been a while. Had some personal issues that kept me from the tables. I could not put in nearly the volume I was hoping for. Luckily these issues have been solved. Its safe to say the shot at 100z was succesful.
Did not feel like updating much but getting on a huge heater always make for a good reason. Not sure if its biased - probably hard to keep objectivity when winning 80bi in 50k hands but I felt like my game was better than ever.
That 20k mark I mentioned seemed far away but with entire december to come it seems possible now.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy the giraffe

    Hello fans :P

Its been an eventful week again. Ive established myself at 100z and the next logical goal should be to hit 200z. That may however take a while. In first instance I thought to take shots with whatever I have to spare above 10k roll, but it may be wise to play it more conservatively since I am finally reasonably rolled for 100 and I can easily support myself from this stake. I could use a stress free month or two.
Bought a basketball to get some exercise (gotta lose some weight) but havent been much outside because of very poor weather. I intend to walk/bike more instaed of taking the bus for everything. Buying a (cheap) car is on my wish list but first we need a nice TV in my new place - so plenty of spending opportunities - just gotta make that money!
Mindset wise Ive never been better having dug myself out a very deep hole. For the first time in ages I dont have to worry about next months rent or piles of unpaid bills. Had a minor down of 15-ish BI but straightened it out quickly. Since I am a cars noob any advice would be welcome as to what to look for/avoid when buying a 2nd hand car.

Thanks for reading, the results are in the spoiler. Wish you happy holidays!

Thanks. Nice to know someone is following this after all
As for the country - I rather not disclose any personal info. Lets make a deal: once(if) I reach 500z and beat it after 200k hands I will let everyone know who I am.

The rungood continues. Atm I am 24bi shy of that 20k mark. If the game is as juicy as usually around christmas, I should be able to get there. Although
monetary goals are stupid - this is more of a whishthinking than a goal.
