It is time to get back to work.

I have just had ~6 months of taking it easy at poker, playing for fun.

Don't get me wrong, I try to beat the games but have definitely been in "relaxed" mode.

My poker story is one of many failures and very limited success (see my epic 2+2 thread here).

I have found a coach (remaining nameless unless I succeed) who will do me a coaching for profits deal for one year (once I meet a few criteria) and if I don't get to NL100 in that time I am going to hang my poker boots up.

I must play 60,000 hands per month.

I must beat NL25 for 1bb/100 over 50k hands and then the 1 year starts.

Coaching once per week.

Daily updates here (not coaches rule).

Short background:

• Played 6max for years with no success but always loved it.
• Went to BestPokerCoaching on their Coaching For Profits Oct 2014 and was breakeven for a year (and also ended up at Heads Up due to the 6 max coach quitting on us [thanks Fooz]).
• Quit BPC and won $4kish in ~ 6months at HU bumhunting(graphs below).
• Hated bumhunting, went back to 6max and fell back in love with poker.
• Break even for ~4.5 months playing NL10 Zoom with 3 shots at NL25 Zoom (2 failed, 1 (was) in progress).

If you have a descent sample on this Villain his range is something like AK\QQ+. I would not have shoved pre vs this type of player when he 4b... but I'm a nit

Lol, learned more in first session than ever before. Nice guy too, no messing, straight to the point.

So I need to change quite a few things. Probably will move sites etc right away to get better rakeback and get the hell outta this rake situation. I did not realise how bad it is!

Ofc it is not "impossible" but I need all the help I can get and also need to slow it down a bit and look at hands/board/villains, not click the buttons!

Not sure but have got good offers for RB deals at ipoker and microgaming available, so if I can get a decent deposit bonus as well I might do one then the other!

Do you (or anyone) know if HM2 tracks hours played? I seem to remember the PT4 stat for that was totally unreliable!

Not sure I deserved to be BE tonight, made a couple of stupid calls and lacked discipline.

Played 3 hours and 2053 hands.

Spent a bit of time looking at other sites and RB deals. Maybe Party is soft these days? Could try and clear a bonus there too...

Maybe will dump this thread tomorrow as the 60k hands this month has changed as a target.

Trying to think how many days to give myself to get to (and beating) NLZ100. Thinking around 18 months max...

I am going to shut this thread down as the 60k hands for the month was the main point of this and due to reg games etc that just ain't gonna happen!
