ty for the kind words wj - glad you enjoyed the thread. maybe I will still post every once-in-awhile but keeping up with the thread from a session-by-session results standpoint is way too time consuming.

its pretty funny. i posted this in the winrate thread in LLSNL but i also got unstuck recently from a big down swing. part of it was playing in great games - for example scooping a 1200bb pot because some drunk guy open shipped into me when i flopped trips in a 3-bet, 4-way pot. the other 2 players also called all-in.
winrates and poker are a weird, mysterious thing.
This was the first time I've played T/25 as well; it only goes on rare occasions at my casino & the other few times it has ran while I was there the game looked pretty bad so I didn't sit. However there has been one very large action player who has been coming around recently so the game has apparently been running more frequently.
I was up slightly in a pretty good T/T game when he showed up but we instantly got the T/25 game started. The game ended up being amazing; with 3 total action players sitting with the rest of the game being regs/pros (some better than others lol but nothing really to worry about).
I ended up winning 1 ~large hand vs each of the action players and luckily didn't lose any big ones. None are too exciting though tbh I was never really in any tough spots:
h1: T/25/50; I open QQ 150 in EP; 2 of the VIPs call in the blinds.
($500) Flop: J75r; x x I bet 250; SB (guy the game is built around) throws in a stack of blacks raising to $1K; BB folds; I call
($2,500) Turn: 5; he jams ~1800; I snap
($6,100) River: brick - he doesn't show right away so I fastroll and MHIG
h2: LP action player #2 limps, SB folds, I raise QhQx 125 in BB; limper calls
($275) Flop: 822r; I bet 100; he calls
($475) Turn: 6hh; I bet 250; he calls
($975) River: Thhh; I bet 500; he calls and MHIG
h3: Action player #2 opens 75 in EP; I call T8cc on the BTN; SB (action guy #3) 3b to 250; PFR calls and I call
($775) Flop T53ss SB bets 450; EP folds; I call
($1,675) Turn 5o check check
($1,675) River 6o he bets 600 I snap and we are good vs J8hh
So yeah nothing really that crazy but I'll take the easy ones especially when playing up in stakes. The game started pretty late and I was seriously considering if I'd have to call out of work the next day to stay or not. At 2am 2/3 of the guys I wanted to play with racked up so I called it then as well. Really really fun game; all of the guys were awesome / we had a blast. &Winning is always nice as well
Funny story:
The main villain always brings his wife with him to the casino and neither of them ever give a **** no matter what happens - like he will show her his hand most of the time when he has a decision and they will just laugh/shrug it off whenever he has to fold/gets caught bluffing/loses a big pot. So later in the session he has to go to the bathroom and he asked if she can play his stack while he is gone. Ofc we are all like yeah man of course she can and start joking about how she's gonna crush all of us/this is probably a huge hustle. He's not gone long so she only gets dealt in like 1 hand and just folds but one of the regs sitting next to her gives her ~10 pumpkins to add to her stack before he gets back to pretend like she won heaps while he is gone lol. Dude gets back from the bathroom and is like ****! let her keep playing!! and we all have a good laugh lol.
& yes winrates/poker/heaters/downswings are very weird. My results always tend to be pretty streaky - definitely a mental component to that.
