Last 3.5k hands or so have been horrendous, hopefully it will turn it around soon!

Another pretty brutal day today. Had to move down to 5nl after losing 1.5BIs early on at 10nl, played 1.2k hands or so and was literally fluctuating between +1BI and -1BI the entire night, just couldn't get anything going at all.

Too tired to post any hands etc tonight, and they are only 5/10nl hands anyway i'm sure no-one is interested in that lol.

Need a winning day to turn things around, hopefully tomorrow!

Checked your thread out, hopefully we meet at 16nl and not 5nl!

H2 - When you say aggro whale does that apply to him shoving lightly, calling off lightly or both? I think when you shove 99 he has to stack off really quite light for this to be good.

H3 - If the guy is an aggro whale I think that your flop bet can just be so much bigger to explain him calling far too wide. I'd be tempted to check the turn as we block so much and x/r or bet big on basically all rivers. Dunno if this is better than just a standard b/b/b line.

H4 - I don't think you dominate this board enough to want to slow play, people have enough of the board for you to bet and let them call down. Definitely take a note on button.

H5 - Although this is just what it is I think 3b/call shove vs UTG with JJ is going to be mighty thin/-EV unless you have some info on villain. I'm at the point where when I GII I look at what villain has and then just move onto action on a different table. I used to watch runouts and it's just a bad habit and even with good mental game it's strain you don't need.

GL though, volume and study will turn it around.

Just so many hands like those, A on the flop every time I had KK/QQ, missing all my draws, getting c/r on boards that are supposed to hit my range etc etc. Been a brutal month so far, don't think i've been playing badly or anything. If I was the type of person to go on tilt etc I would've lost a LOT more, so can take some positives at least. That'll do - don't see much point posting many hands from 5nl, hopefully i'll move back up soon. Was -$17 when I moved down to 5nl, climbed my way back up to finish the day in profit - first winning day in what feels like ages! (Albeit only a 23c profit :rolleyes)

Far too tired to do a proper update but decided to play today after the Scotland game - 500 hands at 10nl, up and down, up and down before eventually losing a big pot with AA v 55 to make me have to drop down to 5nl again but I ran much better there and won the money back, total profit of 60 cents omg I can go pro now

Should be grinding again tomorrow, back at 10nl and hopefully this time I won't need to drop down, 5nl is pretty meh after playing 16/25nl for a while. I wouldn't say it's boring since it's still playing poker and I love that but i'm sure you get what I mean lol

Was really ill last night so didn't play which is unfortunate feel a bit better today, sickness has stopped but still lethargic as hell - doing the most simplest of tasks is knackering me out lol should be back to normal tomorrow I hope

Sorry for the lack of updates lately folks, not giving up or anything I promise just been far too tired at the end of the nights to do it lol.

Been back on the grind last few days after my illness, first day back was horrendous, hitting my stop loss and nearly hitting it again after moving down, yesterday was a proper break even grind - 1,790 hands for a $0.20 profit and of course the last 10 hands of the night I run QQ into KK and AK v KK to end up -$15

At least today has been going better so far, caught some heat at last for the first time this month woooo! Still going on though so hopefully it will continue, touch wood.

Time for a break, got some TV to catch up on and i'll go over a couple hands before restarting, I might post some hands later after I finish tonight depends how tired I am. This time of year I like to get into bed early with my book lol. (Yes I really am a 24 year old )

Oh and happy thanksgiving to all you American folk out there, not a big thing here in the UK but I do love turkey, having it tonight for my tea

I might just update once or twice a week from now on, I love updating this thread as it keeps me motivated but it does take a lot of time and effort which could go towards something else like studying/playing more hands. So that will mean the £10 freeroll is no longer available, but no-one took me up on it anyway soooo

Haven't updated in a while, been really busy! Last 10 days or so have went much better after a terrible first 3 weeks of the month, back up to 16nl now

Not much to report on the poker front, a rather boring break-even day today.

However on the matched betting front, it's been unbelievable lately. I mean seriously, insane. £725 profit just today with 2 NFL matches (Jets going 14up and losing then just now Steelers 14up then losing) total of 8 booms (full turn arounds) in a week.

Haha yeah I know, been lazy with this lately gets to the end of the night and i'm usually just too knackered to post an update and i'm too busy doing matched betting stuff before I start playing to update it then as well lol

Played double the amount of hands I usually do last week, was back at 25nl for a while before losing a few BIs there and having to move down again so grinding 16nl at the minute.
