Tbh, from a poker side of things, it's been a disaster. But from a business side of things (poker referrals, rakeback etc) it's going really quite well and im very happy with it. From a social POV, it's the absolute nuts. From a schedule/discipline side of things, pretty nut low. From a gym perspective, going quite well.

Even though the purpose initially was to nolife poker and achieve a monetary goal, my motivations have somewhat mutated into just surviving and enjoying life. If I don't achieve my goals but have a ball crashing and burning out here, then I'll be happy to book it as a win nonetheless!

I moved to Bangkok after breaking up with my GF 10 years ago at 24. Lived there for 5 years. Sick times. Partied all over, see so much of my younger self in what you're doing. My dad was married to a Thai woman and lived there too, separately, but I invested in some businesses with him and played MTTs overnight and crushed the party scene.

I still remember the first time I "rang the bell" and all of a sudden a sleepy little bar in Patpong became the busiest place I'd ever seen and my one round cost me $4200 THB! So I rang it again of course!
