Daily Update - Tues 13/11



Again, graph won 1-2 stacks that I won, but still nice to run above EV overall. Games were incredibly soft today - I got set under set 3 times though so didn't really make much. Actual profit was 2k.

Currently at 5 winning sessions in a row which is nice, hoping to keep things going for a while now and post up a solid November before Christmas.

However in those past 5 sessions I've indentified 14 hands that cost me A LOT of money. Over the past 5 sessions I've earnt 9412.55 ($1.88k aud), if I had made the 14 folds that I've identified I should have, I'd have instead profited 14,596 or $3k AUD. I'm going to quickly film a video in the replayer explaining why I think these specific hands are folds.

In addition to this, I'm going to reduce my no. tables from 8 to 6-7 for the next 7 sessions to force myself to really focus hard on these spots and make sure I'm making every one of these extra folds. If I'm able to make these folds every time, I'll actually be making more $/hour even though my volume is reduced by like 25%.

hey man, dont have any experience in the fields you are playing, so i might be a little off, but I think JJ aipf vs shortstack and 89s calling flop cbet in 3bp are both fine.
JJ you get prettt decent odds to call vs that stack, even if he is shoving QQ, AK+ calling is profitable i beleive. might wanna run that in equilab.
89s you will have to fold many turns, but i think villain will still shove 6 and J turn prettt often, giving you the right implieds to call there.

Here's today. 6 Tabled and tried to focus a little bit more. Not sure if it made much difference or not. Nice to win again.

Gym

Hit a pretty big deadlift PR today. Recently switched from high volume (5x10 reps) to lower volume higher intensity, 8 reps a few weeks back, 7, 5, and this week I did some heavy triples. Managed to get 150kg triple today which I'm really stoked with. Haven't ever lifted this heavy in my life - I tried lifting 140kg 2 months ago in Brisbane and failed (using a belt as well) and now I can do 150kg no belt for 3 reps.

I'm also outgrowing the leg extension machine... Usualy on LE you do it with both legs but there's not enough weight so I'm doing single leg leg extensions and am onto the 3rd last pin on the stack. Feeling very strong atm. And only 91.3kg - this is a bit of a shame, wanted to be heavier for sure but just haven't been eating enough calories each day lately.

WEEKLY PLAN

I need to sort my **** out once again. I'm sort of waking up whenever, playing whatever volume, eating sorta whatever, not sleeping properly, it's slack and need to get back into a routine. The only real consistent thing has been gym.

Anyway, tomorrow is my day off gym which I'll take as the perfect opportunity to get back into a rhythm. I have this fear in the morning that if I get out of bed when my alarm clock goes off, in a state of complete exhaustion, that I will underperform in the gym - which is why tomorrow's an ideal day to drag myself tf out of bed (no gym, shouldn't matter if I'm tired or not).

Gameplan is:

Thursday - Up 10am, breakfast at home, sun, go to the hospital (this crazy chick wants me to get checked for STDs and said I can't bang her on the weekend unless I go get a checkup ffs), grind 5 hours 6 tabling, 1 hour study/review
Friday - up 10am, breakfast at home, sun, gym, 5 hours vol @ 6 tables, 1 hour review
Saturday - gym, **** crazy girl all day/night
Sunday - wake up, go get food with crazy girl, gym, 3 hours vol
Monday - up 10am, breakfast at home, sun, 6 hours/6tbl + 1 hour review
Tuesday - up 10am, breakfast at home, sun, gym, 5/6volume +1 hour review
Wednnesday - up 10am, brek at home, sun, gym, 5/6+1

That shoooould give me 29 hours of concentrated volume, reduced errors, and 5 hours of review. Not sure exactly what I'll be doing in these review sessions but I want to think about doing some Pio stuff and discussing/reviewing with a friend of mine.
