Hello! My name is Denys, and I am a 31 years old professional poker player. I am married and raising a two years old baby girl.
I play poker for more than 10 years, starting with NL back in 2011 moved up quickly to 1/2 NL at PokerStars which was my main stake. In 2017 after burning out at NL I decided to switch over to PLO. I moved up in stakes rather quickly and in 6 months I have been playing PLO 100 on regulated sites as my main stake with aggressive bankroll management. Since 2019 I play mainly mid/high stakes on apps, both 4-card and 5-card PLO.
I enjoy spending time with my child, reading, meditating, and playing tennis.
My results this year
Jan-Sept
Sept-Present days
Poker goals:
- Play 80 hours/month
- Study 40 hours/month
Self-improvement Goals:
-Improve my English writing and talking skills
On wich apps are you playing? If pokerbros, do you play on main unions like diamond and pana or some unknown unions with fewer but better games?
Are the edges in 5c plo bigger than 4c?

I do not want to be too specific but it is a mix bag of everything =)

On my sample size, I have similar EV bb win rates both in 5c and in 4c PLO. I think the main differences are variance and collusion, 5c PLO is way more volatile than 4c PLO, and results quickly can go very bad. My suggestion is, if you are able to find enough games at 4c PLO you should stick to it. I would play 4c all day every day without having to deal with 5c, but unfortunately, games on apps moved to 5c PLO mainly, so I have to adjust accordingly.
I want to share with you my noise-canceling set-up as it is very loudly in my place when my daughter woke up I have definitely lost a couple of buy-ins without wearing it.
I managed to put more volume today as usual, I like these days when the game is healthy, even tho I was running below my expectations
Bluff catch of the year. It looks suspicious, but in general, his hand is ok to call.

Another low volume day. Took a day off yesterday as the game was not healthy. I did a short trip for exclusive handmade chocolate which my wife enjoys. My favorite part of the day was taking a few bottles of my favorite Belgian ale.
The biggest pot. IDN why but I enjoy cracking Aces in 5c PLO.
