Hello,

I'm an 18 year old beginning shorthanded cash game player that has gotten lazy the last few weeks, hardly playing at all. That's also the reason why I'm making this thread here. To keep me motivated and focused. I deleted my whole HEM database to get ready for a fresh start and to make it clear from where I'm starting now when I'll be showing my graph/statistics. In the meanwhile I came up with a couple of guidelines I have to keep myself at during my journey to become better:

Bankroll management that consists of 30 buy-ins to move up, 20 buy-ins to move back down.
Playing at least 50K hands before leaving that stake, even if I'm already rolled for the next.
Marking all the hands where I didn't know how to play them correctly, posting them on this website, and learning from them.
Never playing more than 6 tables, but also not less than 4.

My current bankroll is at $133,94 which will put me at NL2 to begin with, I will probably hit 30 buy-ins soon for NL5 but I want to grind a large sample first enough to make sure I beat that already, just in case. Playing with such a large bankroll for my stakes will probably not let me tilt so much, which is always a good thing.

I rather don't tell where I'm from, but somewhere in Europe. And yep, it might be stupid grinding NL2 for so long, but it will keep the doubt out of my head, thinking I might not have beaten NL2 when I'm playing NL5.

I already won another stack before that, leaving me with 200bb at that table, is there any mistake in staying at the table with 200bb?

I'll be playing some STT (6players) $1.50 turbo games also tonight, just for fun, let's see how it goes.

Anyone knows by the way how much of those tourneys you can compare to 50K hands?

So:

xx SH STT Turbo = 50k SH cash-game hands
