Scam is possible, yes. I'd say its low as they would probably assume it was mine and even desperate peoples aren't that creative. Certainly >0%. It was one of the first things that crossed my mind. It seemed odd that someone would start looking for a chip 10 minutes after I found it on the ground. Anyways, I did have to go think about it because I thought maybe I thought that because I wanted to keep the monies.

When I noticed the chip a reg pointed at it, I reached down picked it up, and held if in front of me. I figured the cameras would confirm it was his, supervisors would ask me, and I would give it back. Camera would pick it up, 100%. I suppose they could claim they were checking the cameras and then decide not to, but that seems less likely than scam potential.

Yeah-- I'm a big intimating dude and/or homeless dude sitting cross-legged in yoga pants at a nearby poker table.

I haven't had chips fall out of my pockets before(to my knowledge). I had one leg crossed over the other, its not a common position for me-- but I was sitting like that. I wasn't wearing yoga pants, nor do I own them. I was wearing shorts. I assume tighter yoga pants would lower the risk of chips falling out of pockets.

Post something selfish/questionable on the internet and its time to unload the clips..

Why? Maybe it took them ~10 minutes to realize they dropped it.

Did you even say one word to the supervisor?

You have an obligation to speak up about the 1k chip in this spot, its probably his and security can check.. plus if you don't and they figure it out anyway you may face penalties / get a bad reputation

What if you heard 2 ppl talk about a dropped chip, and 10 mins later you realize you are down that exact amount.? How would you feel? Would you speak up?

Obviously the Asian didn't hear the convo or see you pick it up, otherwise he would have spoken to you directly. What you did was passive theft, not aggravated.

Your probably not going to be proven guilty so I wouldn't worry about it.

I believe if I would have been thinking clearly in this situation I would have asked to speak to the floor privately. I would then tell them the situation from hero's perspective (found $1k chip on ground under me, assumed it was mine because I have 1k chips in pocket, Chinese guy may or may not have seen this action, need cameras to verify)

I don't think they can make a case one way or another without camera verification.

Biggest leak here is not being aware of your counts at all times and also as said not securely holding chips (use a coin purse if you are going to straight pocket hold them). I was off my final count by $100 a few months ago and I lost sleep over it.

Not knocking you, it's an odd spot and even by posting I can tell you are morally concerned about the situation, which already puts you in the top ~20% of humans, imo.

If we are strictly speaking EV, the play is to identify the upper bound % chance the chip is yours (<20%?) and pay out the difference. So villain gets $800.

I think by rushing to the bathroom you took a questionable line. I would be far more concerned with making this right than the $1k. Not sure why I'm this way, I blame my mother.

Super scummy dude. I could understand if you thought it was one of your chips that you thought you dropped. but you found out that it wasnt while you were still in the casino playing poker... which means you should have tried to make it right.

The fact that you did something so unethical while there were supposedly so many freaking cameras on you... man that looks super bad. I mean it sort of calls into question what other unethical stuff related to poker are you willing to do if you know nobody could find out/ refute your claims?! Claim a loss while staked etc. Not a good idea at all.

I'm really surprised they didn't review the tape especially since there was a complaint about a missing 1k chip. A long long time ago I remember going back to the casino on some random night, and within like 10 minutes of walking in, security approached me telling me I had dropped a $10 chip on the floor the last time I was there. I mean wow... and this is about a 1k chip? really surprised.

I re-read what I wrote because I figured I must have worded things incorrectly.. I didn't. There seems to be loads of reading comprehension fails going on.

I claimed that what I did is selfish and questionable-- I never claimed it was ethical, and I don't think its ethical. I was a bit surprised to see myself respond that way, which is why I wrote about it. I wouldn't have guessed that my past self would have taken that line. Also, if I gave back the chip, I wouldn't have wrote a word. I think the way it happened to me and my initial thoughts influenced my actions. This is similar to the "no sex" dream I had in the jungle-- I ended up breaking boundaries as events transpired in strange unanticipated ways.

I left the table not because I was afraid (why would I go back and sit next to him/the investigation for 2hours?), but because I was consumed by what had just happened and what I should do. Also, I sort of had to go pee. I'm not going to play poker while I'm very distracted.

The several cameras on me not proving anything leads me to believe the probability that it was an attempted scam is higher. If casinos catch someone drop $10 on the ground and give it back (unsolicited) the next day, that makes it even more likely they would have investigated the $1k chip.

I'm a bit surprised by many of the responses on here. In particular, this isn't the scummiest thing imaginable-- If you guys have spent time around a poker table you've witnessed far worse. I witness worse on a weekly basis. That said, people seem to be writing off the possibility that this is an attempted scam.

I believe that the $1k chip post has got more attention than any other post I've made on this blog. This is sort of sad in itself, but whatever. I'm assuming most readers don't realize it-- but I'll make it clear; those actions are out of character for me. Unfortunately, It seems that many people are considering it as an action that defines my character. Not only is this unfair(as I won't write much about events I consider normal/habitual "ethical" actions), but its also worrying. It implies the belief that good people can't do bad things. Or.. perhaps worse, that people haven't read much of this blog, but will skim through gossipy posts and rapidly congregate for stone-throwing.

Obviously people can find out I've done this as I've posted it in the public forum. I'm comfortable with that. I've written about unethical actions in the past, too.

OP, I know you're not just directing your response to my sentiments, but I think it's worth pointing out a few things:

I dont care whether your self-perception of the action - whether it was "selfish and questionable" or "unethical", is accurate. I'm more commenting on the action itself. Sure, it could've been a scam. But either way, immediately noting the appearance of the extra chip to dealer/floor makes things easy for you and takes the ethics out of it, leaving the staff to resolve things competently. Some of us have also responded w encouraging words prior to this event, myself included.

I think you're a little off the mark in assuming people are up in arms over your actions. For the most part, reaction mostly seems to be "Wow, I'm surprised this deep thinking individual pulled this move. Ah, this is poker, what should surprise me anymore lol?" I don't think people are surprised by the ethical norms that exist (or fail to properly exist) in poker. Just another day. Def not UB/Absolute, FT, etc so I wouldn't sweat it. You can make a mistake and people can still root for you. gl op

The poker community took a huge blow a couple days ago. Rakeback being lowered upto 85% on stars for regs. I imagine more than half that volume is cash/sngs/spins. Of those players, a large majority of them are making more from RB than from after-rake profits. That said, most of the regs are going to quit, move to other sites/mtts, or play live poker. Great news for amaya execs/shareholders, terrible news for poker players.

---

Live poker in Sydney has been drying up. When I first got here 5/10/20 was going most days. It hasn't gone in the last 2 weeks, and most days this week the 5/5/10 has struggled to stay alive. The games are also tougher in general. 7/10+ games have been uncommon in the last couple weeks.

I set a 150 hour volume goal last month. I hit 159 hours in the last 26 days, with four days off. I'm happy with my level of play in combination with hours played. I'm still under my $-profit goal for Australia/poker retirement, so I'll be back in Sydney for 1-3 months.

Sydney living was fairly hectic. City living for extended periods of time gets to me. Sleep is the biggest problem. I'd say I woke up 5-6 times per night, never having a full night sleep. Too much noise. This has compounded effects. Less sleep results in more coffee drinking, and less exercise. I seem to be slow to learn my lessons about spending money. Next stay I'll be spending more to get a more comfortable sleep. Good sleep is worth at least a few hundred/month.

Living with Erica has been intense. I wasn't sure what to expect going into it, and I ended up getting a lot. There are way more emotions flying around, positive and negative. It's like moving from a 1/2 nlh game(single living) to a 2/5 PLO (couples living).

I've been doing way less reading/podcasting lately-- looking forward to catching up while I'm in Bali. I've got several hours of podcasts lined up and a few books I'd like to read. Sam Harris was on JRE a few days ago, I'm looking forward to watching that. Lawrence Krauss (physicist/author) was recently on, too.

I arrived at villa karishma last night. It's a pretty sweet villa-- tons of bedrooms, nice pool, game room, maids, etc. There are loads of poker players here at the moment. I'll be chilling here for a ~week. My plan is to be on the healthy grind. Sleep, healthy food, yoga, water. Got a $7 1hr massage today, going to get another one later this afternoon.

I want less focus on poker while I'm here. I'll set the bar at 80 hours over the next month. The plan is focus on poker on the weekends, chill during the week.

Finished reading DMT: The spirit molecule. Overall it was a good read. The first bit of the book is a little dry; I'd recommend the movie(same title) to anyone with a low-medium interest in DMT.

In the 1990s, Rick strassman began a project to study the effects of DMT on humans. Before he started, he needed to get permission from the government. It took years of persistent work to obtain permission from the relevant US organizations, and he wrote about that struggle. Once approved, he then injected DMT into volunteers and conducted research. He measured various physical markers(blood pressure, heart rate, pupil size, etc), but the focus of the book is on the subjective experience of the volunteers.

Many of the volunteers(60 total, two injections) had similar types of experiences. Contact with "conscious beings" in strange worlds was the most common experience. It was typical for the beings to be waiting/expecting/greeting the volunteers upon arrival. The beings seemed interested in imparting and collecting information, often related to human emotions and the unhealthy state of earth.

Strassman writes extensively about the biological mechanisms involved in the experience, and nature of these experiences. He does a good job of separating the science(what we know via scientific evidence), and speculation.

I think its clear that I have a keen interest in DMT. I find it so fascinating that DMT is found in living beings, DMT is processed in the pineal gland, DMT is involved in dreaming, and people have similar types of profound "being-contact" experiences with large doses of DMT.

There seems to be so little western knowledge about DMT. It's an endogenous compound with profound effects on humans that is ubiquitous among living beings. It seems strange that humanity can spend billions on a dangerous project building a machine to super charge small particles and collide them giving us the chance to observe "the god-particle" to provide legitimacy to scientific theories on the nature of the universe. However, in the same world, its a massive struggle to spend thousands researching "the spirit molecule" which may give us a chance to collect information from highly intelligent beings and/or experience what many describe as contact with god.

Anyways, enough ranting on this subject. I'm going to be re-reading Robert Waggoner's "Lucid dreaming" this week. Haven't been lucid in awhile, looking to get back into the conscious dream world.

I've been in full blown vacation mode. It's a different sort of living. I often find myself wondering "How is it X-o'clock?! Where did the time go?". There doesn't seem to be much time for activities between brunch and dinner. That 6-7 hour chunk tends to fly by... A couple hours at the pool + coffee and some writing and then boom, its time to stuff my face full of food for $6.

I got into the second "car" accident of my life yesterday (for those interested, the first is detailed earlier in this thread). I was on a rental motorbike with my gf on the back. We were on a medium-sized road with low-medium traffic. It was dark, around 7:30pm. We were going around 30km/hr (~19mph). There were no roadbikes near me at the time, then someone sped past us on the right. they slowed down a bit, and moved across, in front of us to the left. I was going straight. He started to slow down, until he was going slower than us, then(without indication) swerved in front of us. The front of our bike collided with the back right of his bike as he was swerving to the right and knocked our bike over. I went off the side/over the front, gf landed on top of me, and I skidded for a few feet. I remember the lower half my body being stuck under the bike/girlfriend and me lifting my chest/curling my back and keeping my face away from the pavement. It was like a skidding upward-facing dog. Once we stopped moving, my gf got up, I got up and looked to find the motorist that hit me. He had turned off to the left and was standing on his bike looking at me. I kept throwing my hands in the air and saying "What the ****?!" He probably didn't find this too friendly, as he biked off after a few seconds. I picked up the bike and moved it to the side. I surveyed Erica, who barely sustained any scratches but was quite emotionally distressed. I, unfortunately, managed to get a couple large cuts. My feet got worst of it, and my knees sustained some damage. There wont be any upward-facing dogs for a couple weeks. He was swerving slightly to the right to prepare for his left turn. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to be aware of our presence or show any indication of turning (he didn't look over either of his shoulders, didn't break, didn't use blinkers, or use hand motions).

I've been slacking on most fronts of my life. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. I've been doing aight emotionally-- unusually enough. I've done a few HIIT workouts over the last 2 weeks, went to one yoga class and practiced 25-40minutes a few times. I suppose I've done some form of exercise ~75% of days. Mentally is pretty much a fail. No new intellectual pursuits. I've listened to a couple podcasts and read half a book. Spiritually is mostly a fail. I remember parts of 2-3 dreams per night, but no lucidity. I've had one short meditation session in the last 2 weeks, and it basically confirmed that my mind is more scattered than usual.

I've been feeling more energy in my forehead lately. It tends to gather when I'm talking about topics related to consciousness/dreams/drugs. I don't quite understand why this is happening to me(I have a couple theories), but I'm sure it will make sense in the future. I've also had some strange dreams. I had one where I saw a massive brown bear swimming near me in a lake. In general, I find myself flying around a bunch, often as what seems like a point of awareness that isn't within a dream body. As this point of awareness I witnessed two giant (unearthly) snakes battling each other followed by a two-legged blue being (I thought: "king" when I saw him) walking through a door. I had another dream where I was on mission to catch a bus. I remember thinking in the dream "I wonder if the bus is over there" at which point my awareness floated outside of my dream-self, propelled through a bus, and continued on until I saw that indeed, the bus I was looking for was near-by. I then went back into my dream self and proceeded to run toward the bus I had seen.

Anyways, dreams can be interesting. If you want to get more in-touch with your dreams, keep paper near your bed and write down something/anything you remember when you wake up. This tends to lead to large recall gains in a short time frame.

Turns out motorbike accident wounds are worse than I thought. Deep gouges don't like exposure to sunlight, which I learned the hard way. Been pussing out my foot, and me cleaning it most afternoons for the last few days. Bandaids don't stick because I have super sweaty feet.. however, i got some gauze-- so I'm good to go. Even 6 days later it's Painful to walk. Missing out on exploring/hiking..

Australia immigration got back to me about my work visa. Unfortunately, the work visa requires I get a medical exam and chest X-ray to enter Australia. So, I have traveled 2 hours by motorbike to a somewhat-respectable clinic here in Indonesia. I suspect the medical exam to be completed quickly and to pay large sums of money to a doctor.. my flight to aus is in 2 weeks, and I have a feeling the medical examination is going to take longer than 2 weeks to be approved(it says it can be approved in minutes, but that would imply I run good). I may have to miss my $500 flight to Sydney and book another one in a few weeks. If that happens, I'll get to grind some of scoop in Bali.

I haven't been able to have a real workout in the last week and I can't resist all the delicious food at south-eastern prices. That said, the Buddha belly is growing. Although, I don't feel as though I'm acquiring wisdom.. so it's actually just a bogan(red neck) belly. I tend to feel uncomfortable chilling in vacation mode for too long.. I get these compulsions to work towards something. That said, I have been contemplating my next project.

I'm thinking that starting a podcast is a smart play. Interviewing people whom have built/created self-sustaining homes/communities and sharing the knowledge. Ideally I'd like to interview people about psychedelics too, but I think this might be too broad an audience to reach in one podcast. I'd have to get involved in social media-- which will be an interesting experience. I think this is a pretty good play because I'll learn more, and be able to teach others. Plus, I could create a following that I could offer products and/or allow them to make informed decisions on the relevant subjects.

My medical tests were fun. Turns out I don't have 20/20 vision anymore-- one of my eyes couldn't figure out G or C, F or P. Also, my blood pressure is 130/67, which seems a bit high on the high number and the differential. Mind you, this is on 4 espressos in 4 hours. Weeeee, aging.

I got approved for the Australian working visa. I got an email less than 48 hours after I submitted my medical-- so that was some unexpected promptness from aus immigration. I dont plan on spending 12 months in Australia, but who knows, could happen.

My trip in Bali is coming to an end today. Overall its been quite a good time, and a good break from poker. I ended up playing ~no poker. I actually lost my laptop charger a couple weeks ago and just got it back last night. Bali was far different from what I expected. I thought it was going to be a party island packed with aussies. While there is that side of Bali, Bali is a very different sort of place. It's very religious, but not in a bad way. People seem to be very aware of their connection with god and there seems to be lots of giving and not much scamming/crime. They give offerings multiple times per day. This is what is looks like;

This one includes tobacco, money, coffee, inscents, and food. Sick deal.

I stayed at a villa for a couple weeks at the start of my trip here. There is a pet monkey named George;

He's one of the few pets that didn't like me. I spent most of our relationship grabbing him to stop him from attacking the maids.

This was served from a cafe a few minutes from where we were staying;

$3.37USD

Pretty much all the other photos include me, so I wont post them on here. We found some sick spots though-- hot springs without tourists, waterfalls flooded with tourists, elephant center, monkey forest, yoga ashram, and an awesome hookah spot. We stayed at a villa(karishma) with friends, a guesthouse($16usd/night) in the rice fields, and a private villa($27usd/night) in the ricefields.

If I go back(which I may), I'd do a few things differently. First, I'd stay away from the city centers, particularly kuta. Tourist trap and the motorbike driving is wild. I'd get a motorbike rental for the entire trip-- you can get one for around $2/day if you rent long term. It gives you access to load of day trips, and much cheaper and more peaceful accommodation. Also, I'd spend most of my time at a yoga ashram in northern ubud. For a month its <$15 day for accommodation/yoga. The local food here is very carb heavy, not my style. They have a chicken noodle soup that is awesome and you can get off the street for $1-3usd (bakso). The small villages/towns all have ample food selection and its pretty solid. Yesterday we went to an Indian place, had to wait for a table, and we were the only non-Indian customers in the building.

The last month has been my best, financially speaking. It's quite hilarious because I haven't played any poker. My long-time horse binked 5th in the Sunday million, and I bought some action of a friend who crushed a live PLO game. Also, I was still heavy(only sold ~50% of original when I planned on selling 100%) on BTC, which has been soaring the moon.

I'm a bit concerned about my portfolio at the moment. Too much BTC(price wont stop climbing), and too much USD. I suspect a bubble is due, so I'm looking to get some USD into commodities/gold medium-term. Once the bubble bursts I'll try my luck at catching the knife by moving commodities/gold into Tesla/robotics index for the long-term.

Also, I think my investment in cryptocurrencies should be diversified. The altcoins now make up a large % of total market cap. I'll be looking to roll BTC into ETH next big decline.

I'm flying to Sydney tonight. I'll be attempting to play scoop on Sunday. It's a great day for PLO. I'll be selling a bit of action on the $1k sunday grand plo and $1k plo-h scoop.

I broke up with ex-girlfriend a few days ago. I wont post many details. It was somewhat marginal decision for me. I think it may have been better to continue dating than being single for the next 3 months, but I'm sure it wouldn't have worked in the long-term. So, I ran into an interesting spot of deciding whether to ride out the rest of the "honeymoon" phase and create a more painful breakup in 2-4 months, or cut it off. I think it was actually a pretty self-less move on my part to break it off earlier-- 23-year old Tyler would have acted differently with the same information.

I really enjoyed our relationship. Love was shared, fun was had. I learned a ton about myself and dating. I was feeling emotional turmoil a few days ago but its been decreasing relatively quickly. I have intentionally been taking time to reflect/process emotions/write about the relationship and learn from the experience. I think most people like to distract themselves as much as possible, and I think that is a mistake (although, some moderate amount of distraction is probably +EV for most).

I just got a room in sydney. I'm paying a ****-ton of monies for rent. It's the most I've ever paid for on a monthly basis, by far($1400AUS). I think I may have finally learned my lesson hunting for roomshares in the mid/low-range prices. I'm paying an extra ~$80-100AUS/wk. for a big room in a quiet street in a busy area with professionals. I do suspect its worth it, time will tell.

For pokers, I started playing some scoop yesterday. I suspect I'll continue scooping until the 22nd. The schedule is sort of ****ed up for Sydney time. I started grinding at 7:30am yesterday, and late regged everything. Ill be scaling my start time back 30minutes a day for the next week. Tomorrow I'll have to miss the Sunday mil because day2 equity is low if I have to play at 4am. I should be able to wake up for next sundays day2s given my wake-up strat. I will be taking Monday off scoop(although, I'll spend a couple hours studying) and may take Friday off, or may play an afternoon live session.

I believe that playing live 5/5 plo has a higher hourly than scoop, and also higher equity realization, but meh-- I'll pay for the excitement/learning.

I'll be scouring groupon for yoga near my new room. Also, I plan on getting a gym membership sometime in the next couple weeks. I'm looking to pass my old strength records and improve mobility within 3 months.

I have more to write about, but this update is getting too long... more to come.

it is regarding DMT I would like you to write more about : a how to guide of steps to acccess your pineal gland and a guide as things to definitely avoid like fluor / chlor etc and which psychadelic is a consistant help.

I also read that lucid dreaming is indeed a necessary first step and there are techniques to generate it more consistently,

so, please please share in details your experiences and successes in a as structured way as possible...

cheers,

I'll sort of respond to you and write to the general public interested in those topics.

I'm in a "get started on the grind" mode right now, so I'll touch on some stuff now, and write more in the coming weeks. My focus will shift once I have another "big dream" or experience of transcendence.

First off, if you are carrying around suppressed trauma that will probably surface in your first transcendence experience. Even if you haven't been abused/traumatized, most people have some sort of bloackage(I was no exception) that has to be processed.

Fluoride/chloride will **** your **** up. Avoid those things. Toothpaste and bad tap water are the major culprits. I think aluminum is also bad news, and this is a commonly found in cheap deodorant.

I believe if you eat meat that has been treated with antibiotics/bad feed and/or from animals that were essentially tortured that this will have a negative impact on your "tuning". I remember hearing(probably podcast material) the antibiotics/feed/emotional trauma are stored in the fat(+magnified) and eating meat with those properties can mess you up. I think that in moderation (0.5-1 serving/wk of "bad" meat) is probably not going to make a difference, as I've done this and also spent time avoiding it entirely and that didnt seem to make a difference (although, it wasn't a controlled experiment).

Also, most "dietas" in the amazon specifically require you avoid pork for a longer period of time than other meats. Some tribes eat chicken regularly but avoid pork like the plague. Also, some other religions(the more spiritual ones afaik) seem to avoid pork too. So yeah, I avoid pork for the most part. I'll have some pig maybe once a month.

I haven't heard/read too much about the negative effects of animal milk on general health, but I've got two strong messages via dreams to avoid milk. I pretty much avoid animal milk entirely. I'll have ~ 1liter/year.

I also think that sex involves some sort of energy exchange. I don't know how this works, but this is a message the plants kept delivering to me. ****ing with toxic people can **** you up.

For me, all the "doors" opened up after my first ayahuasca experience. I dont think it was the ayahuasca per say, but I believe it was the alterered state of consciousness and space that allowed an environment to clear up an energy bloackage and steer my awareness/curiosity to new areas. There are multiple ways to get to that "altered space". You could spend 5++ years developing a kundalini yoga practice, tantra sex, meditation, lucid dreaming etc.. and get to those places of transcendence where healing/exploration is possible. Psychedelics are like the super-highway to those spaces. Be relatively healthy, no alcohol/weed and diet for a few days, and do a high dosage of ayashusca or mushrooms in a quiet, dark setting and you will get there.

Fwiw I may be biased here, but I prefer the plant-based psychedelics. There is something about ingesting the plant material that adds to the experience.

Where did you read about lucid dreaming be involved in pineal gland/dmt realms? I haven't heard or read this but believe it based on personal experiences.

I'll share a dream that I had a few weeks ago. I'll also interpret the dream(this is something I'm improving at, but its very subjective);

I'm running down flights of stairs in a large building. I go down 3-4 stories. I get to a door and open it. It's a large room like an office space with unusually high ceilings. I walk across the room and sit down.

I close my eyes. A small screen appears, and I'm looking at the screen. There are little goblin-like creatures engaged in war. One of them is looking through the screen at me attempting to communicate. Suddenly, I feel someone nudging me.

I open my eyes and I'm back in the room. My ex-gf is nudging me and talking to me. Suddenly, three men in construction work-outfits enter the room. They come sit near us. All three of them take out a bong, take a huge rip, and lay back to enjoy the high.

I wake up.

Right, so probably seems a bit absurd. I find for me that stairs/elevators resemble movements within the mind.

The screen thing happens to me often. Sometimes in dreams, once in waking reality. It's some sort of window into another realm.

The little goblin guys I haven't seen before, but I imagine I will see more of them in the future. One of the major figures in my ayahuasca visions I had seen in a dream prior to taking the brew.

I think the rest of the dream is pretty clear. My connection with this channel is being obstructed by my environment.

tldr:quick guide to transcendence via psychedelics
-avoid fluoride/chloride/aluminum
-generally avoid meat for a few days, pork especially
-no alcohol/weed for a few days before
-don't mix psychedelics with other substances
-research dosages. psychedelic doses are generally quite high and produce a different expereince. 2-3g of mushrooms is very different than 5g.
-quiet, dark setting
-Before the experience starts, take some deep breaths and be conscious of your breathing. If **** gets crazy, take deep belly breaths and focus your attention on the breathing. Ask "who is the breather?" and return to your waking consciousness.

I get the sense that these dimensions/realms are being actively explored by millions of peoples. I recently heard that 1/10 US men are using psychedelics regularly and the primary reasons are self-discovery and transcendence. There seems to be a renaissance going on.

edit: To all; feel free to ask questions about this. I'm also quite interested in the experiences of others, so feel free to share with me.

hey man, always like to see your updates. We out here readin em even if we aren't replying to everything.

the self-less breakup move sounds interesting. I just travel so much and let things end when paths diverge that way - on to the next one. Keeps feelings intact and honeymoon sparks I find often spark again if you ever go back to visit. A breakup doesn't have to be a permanent end, but it leads both parties to generally assume that. I guess since you were going back to syndey the natural travel breakup wasn't an option though. Oh well, with how expensive OZ seems to be, could be a better place for grind + self improvement anyways and less going out, dating, spending money.

I'm considering about where to go next - indo is pretty high on my list, but I'd wait until after ramadan to venture any further than bali. On Bali where do you recommend? Still nightlife and entertainment options, but ideally not packed to the brim with loud aussies puking on themselves. Also not interested in yoga, and in my mind I compartmentalize indo - its surfer bros or drunk aussies or extreme hippies/yoga.

Also how was the surf out there, you had to have paddled out a few times, have fun?

first link; Cool, the guy is Aussie. Might try to link up with him at some point.

second link; Ah, that's astral projection. That's pretty much what happened to be in the jungle a couple times. However, I wasn't trying to do it and I wasn't consciously thinking about the things that were projected. I also ended up being in an astral body without realizing what was going on.

Maybe I'll give it a try at some point. I've got so much going on and so many self-exploration things qued up at the moment though. I figure I will be best spending 1-4 weeks at a workshop/astral center attempting to learn. I could add this to my 2018 travel plans.

Yeah, the breakup was quite interesting. I think in the past I would have just put my emotional walls up and enjoyed the fun/sex until the fun died down some more. My standard is to end "relationships" around travel dates, too.

Yeah, my plan while in Sydney is to stay focused on poker, fitness, and learning. Maybe I'll spend a few hours/wk online dating(okcupid).

I never made it out to surf. Sad, I know. Yeah, I intended on it.. surprised I didnt get out there. Heard it was decent from a couple people. Chenggu is probably your best bet for something inbetween surfer bro/drunk aussies and extreme hippies.

---

I went super deep in a $100 scoop event, but down a bit on the series thus far. PKO's seems to be where the value is these days. I'm a n00b at them but given calling/shoving maths I watch people making massive folding mistakes.

I found a gym that offers yoga/hiit and sauna/steam room for $100/mo-- not a bad plan for Sydney. I'm easing into the gym. First session I did 8 rep sets at around 65%. Did 7 rep sets yesterday, going to progress down to 5 where I'll stay for a few weeks. I've be using the sauna and stretching on off-days and plan to for the first couple weeks. Once my body gets use to lifting every other day I'll start mixing in yoga and the odd hiit with the sauna days.
