Hi, I'm Mantas, I'm a student from Lithuania and this year I want to achieve some big goals. it's not my first try to start writing a blog, but this one will be different. I want to create this blog/journal to keep the records of my progress mostly in poker, but I will write some things about self-development as well.
Short brief history about me:
I started playing poker, when I was 17 years old, thanks to my friends who showed me this game. It was just a hobby for me in which you can earn some extra money and I didn't take it seriously, to be honest, I didn't take it seriously for 2-3 years, every year I've put more hours, but not enough, of course in that time I was thinking that I'm really working hard and it's just a matter of time, when I will be playing in mid stakes
I was moving up and down so many times trough stakes, but never played higher than NL50, I didn't have a good plan, my routine was bad, but not awful, I still did some good things and I always was a winning player the time I played at NL10/NL16/NL25, but in the game like poker, which is evolving so fast like new technologies you have to study hard, because those who were behind you after half a year will be ahead of you. Now I realize, that I was doing too little and thinking about huge success in the same time, but those times ended, my thinking is different, I'm more action taker now. Really big thanks to my girlfriend, who triggered many good changes in me as a person.
So after I started putting hours in poker, made a good daily routine, which most of the time I'm following, I have a study group, started living more healthy lifestyle, read a few books about achieving goals and success and I have got rewarded. Now I playing NL25 zoom, and today I will be making a shot to NL50, the highest stake I ever played and I think this time I have what it takes to beat this level.
This year so far is the best in my career. I never had better results in 2 months than this time.
This year so far:
And now
