Been going pretty bad last few days, some spew and some runbad, its not that many evBI but feels awful losing this much just bc I played 10nl not that long ago.

Had my worst day in poker today, so weird how u crush for some time and feel like the best player in the world and one day it just snaps and u can't win a hand. I'm well bankrolled so nothing to worry about but might step down just to gain confidence. Thought my mental game was strong but started to tilt for the first time in quite some time. The good thing about downswings is that you realize you actually suck at poker
at least people don't come here to troll you when you're in a downswing haha
Thats bc no one reads this thread lol
Went back to old roots and 4 tabled 25z, had to make some adjustments but after a while started crushing might play a few more sessions at 25nl just for fun and relaxation and try 50nl next week
Thought it was close, might be too deep for a jam. Why do u think its a mistake, would love ur input.
It's not close even QQ/AK is probably BE/losing jamming here, yes you're a little deep also which makes it worse. The best case scenario when called is he has AK and then you're basically flipping for 137bb? surely you can figure out better ways to make $ in a pool than resort to this, his sizing has also gave you an easy call so you're not forced to play jam/fold, I understand it's not the best feeling playing post in this spot but it's a lot better than being the sucker getting stacked vs UTG which will be showing you the goods way too often.
Hey man gl keep it up.
About the JJ hand I agree with what @reload said, imo jamming is bad even at 100bbs deep, the majority of the playerpool dont even have a 4bet bluffing range in this spot from my experience at 25z
Preflop: Hero is SB with A A
UTG raises to $1.50, MP raises to $5.25, CO folds, BTN calls $5.25, Hero raises to $17.75, 2 folds, MP raises to $122.39 and is all-in, BTN folds, Hero calls $104.64
Flop: ($252.03) 3 3 J (2 players, 1 is all-in) Turn: ($252.03) 9 (2 players, 1 is all-in) River: ($252.03) Q (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $252.03 pot ($2.00 rake)
Final Board: 3 3 J 9 Q
Hero showed A A and won $250.03 ($127.64 net)
MP showed K K and lost (-$122.39 net)
Havent updated in a while, have been busy with work and moving. Tbh was a bit disappointed by my results in the end of 2017. Still havent taken a shot at 100nl yet, which was my main goal for 2017. Last few weeks have mainly played 25z, not bc of br but because I was busy with other stuff and had a hard time playing A-game at 50nl. Now when I have more time playing again I can try playing 50nl as my main stake, and I'm not that far away from taking a shot at 100nl so I'm really exited about that
My year so far, not too exciting but happy about winning atleast.
H1: fold pre, hand looks nice, but if you start 3-betting 96s, soon you will be 3-betting 95s and soon you will see yourself 3-betting like 40% and crap like K8o. Gotta have that discipline. If villain overfolds, fine, also if he is getting out of line from the CO it's a mandatory 3-bet too. But from his actions, it seems he is quite straightforward(he just flat QQ pre).
H2: check flop, in theory it's ok to cbet this hand since we have tons of cards we wanna barrel, but vs fish we have 0 fold equity almost, also if we're betting, we're using a bigger sizing on that board. If the board was like 273r it would have been better to cbet, but even in that board fish almost never fold, we're basically buying a cheap turn while trying to make them fold their A highs. x/f the river, don't try to bluff the fish, specially in spots like that.
If the board was something like 27Tss 2r 3r and you had 98cc and the action was like that, it could be a good bluffing opportunity OTR, you could bet 50% to try to fold out the fish's busted flush draws that beat you. That's a strat I like using a lot, most fish min-raise their top pairs/sets/2-pairs sometime during the flop or the turn, so they get to the river really draw heavy, so a small bet will get the job done a ton of the time.
H3: it's good to cbet vs fish, but just giving up OTT
Upgraded my pt4 to higher stakes and played my first 100nl session today, 4 tables of 100nl and 2 tables 50nl. Played pretty good, ran pretty awful at 100nl, but I'm happy with my small session and I feel like I have an edge there.
Some fun hands
Im not an HU reg.... not sure if standard but think its fine vs villain.
Played 6 tables of 100nl today, games were pretty good but couldnt get any momentum going, and didnt play my best for sure, got QQ<KK and AK<KK and had to make some tough folds postflop. Won 2 dollar EV and 1 dollar in chest so I'm happy hehe don't feel like posting a graph or HH, nothing really interresting anyway. I'm happy about my results at 100nl so far, It's not a big sample but I'm running pretty poor and I have managed to breakeven so far and maintained a good mental game.
