Thx buddy! Update your thread!

--------------------

Doing good on all the freerolls except for the 10k hands of 2/4 6m. I've felt like playing heads up the last few days. As long as I'm getting in some volume I'm happy. Month is still looking pretty solid. Haven't been running great the last few days but I sunrunned the first couple days I played this month so probly just falling back to earth. Off to the gym, gl all!

I never look at zone but that's cool. You been playing it? I hope they keep adding higher stakes if the games are running.

Completed all the freerolls except the 10k hands of 2/4 6m. Happy with how the week went. Month is looking good despite the late start to the online grind.

I really should have joined NFC South. Missed two 5k freerolls already.

In general, i find that threads with periodic updates that include graphs on progress are a lot more interesting. That or every once in a while an epic down or up swing graph

agreed, unfortunately since i was gone the first half of the month and have only gotten in 10 days of play with not huge volume i don't have much meaningful to show. feels kinda pointless to post graphs of only a few k hands but ill try to post graphs a bit more.

Yeah the thing that sucks with bovada is that since it's 4 tables max when I have periods where I'm not able to get a lotta hours in then the sample to show is really small.

Also play some heads up on acr/carbon so I'm up about $7500 on the month

Month is likely done for me. Bout to watch my pats on MNF and got some stuff I gotta get done tmrw. Overall a solid month results wise. Online volume was pretty low due to missing the first half of the month and then having a lotta stuff going on during the second half when I got home. Finished up a bit over 7k on the month. Month graph isn't that different than the last time I posted it so instead I'll just post my overall bovada 6m stats on my desktop.

Pretty happy with my 6max results. Plenty of room to improve too.

GO PATS!

Very nice, keep it up man. Hoping to be rolled for 25 and 50NL by the end of this year. I did take some shots at 25NL and found the games to be pretty soft. 25NL zone was going really well for me before I cashed out.

Thanks. I don't have any experience in the 25nl/50nl games but I'm sure they are full of people making big mistakes. If you are profitable in the games I would definitely try to be pretty aggressive with your bankroll in terms of taking shots trying to move up into 50nl+. Rake is so brutal and for most people a 50nl bankroll is pretty easily replenished. So if you think you have an edge definitely don't be afraid to test the waters. Gl.

In golf? Don't have an official one. I usually hit a bit over 100, best rounds around mid-high 80s. I'm not very good and I'm not very consistent because I don't play much/work on my game.

And yeah this pats game has not been very fun to watch. Can't believe Brady didn't just scramble for the first down instead of trying to force it to Edelman.

Thanks. Yeah that game was rough to watch. I got screwed in fantasy from Kelce's big game too which made it doubly suck. Thanks for following!

You'd be shocked how significant the overlap is in mental game between golf and poker. I've been playing golf for about 8 years and find that mental game is by far the most important factor in shooting well. Obviously raw talent, but I often beat people in golf who are more talented than I am and who practice much more. If my mental game is off in either poker or golf, it turns into a disaster.

I'm gonna take a look at Tendler's podcasts for sure. I have his book. Skimmed it and it seems great.

Yeah mental game in everything is very important imo. His podcasts are pretty cool, I've listened to a few of them.

October is going okay for me so far. I started working in some 3/6 on Bovada this month. Started off the first few days of the month running pretty meh and just hovering around basically breakeven. Finally caught a little heat over the last 48 hours or so and am now up a few grand on the month.

I'm super happy with how I'm playing this month. I Think I'm doing a good job of focusing and getting max value in a lot of spots. Pretty happy with my volume over the first 1/4 of the month as well, sitting around 20k hands. Just going to continue to focus on playing the best poker I can and hopefully can book another nice month this month.

Couple changes to my grind setup this month. My desktop was 4.5 years old and starting to slow down so I ended up buying a new one and it got here yesterday. Got it all set up and it's been a welcome change of pace to have a new machine. My old computer was having some problems with freezing for brief moments especially when running holdem manager. Holdem manager is actually another change to my grind this month as I was using PT3 in the past. I always preferred HEM before being forced to switch after black friday because WPN only worked with PT. I'm really liking HEM2 so far. I also really need to get myself an ergonomic chair as I don't sit with correct posture like I should most of the time. I've been browsing the 2p2 chair thread but if anyone has any opinions/tips lemme know.

Last but not least on the gym/health front I've been making some good progress. I've been very good about going to the gym most days and doing cardio but kept putting off starting a lifting routine as I was dreading the first week or so of soreness that comes with getting back into it. Finally forced myself to start today and my buddy and I are going to be doing the same routine and force each other to go. Unfortunately I still suck at cooking, hopefully over time I get better.
