Hey everybody !

This will be my first post on 2+2, and hopefully not the last one ! I have been playing on Eurosites for the last 2 years (nl100-400) , with some succes but nothing great. I just moved out from my country, and started playing on nl50zoom Pokerstars.com. I am not interested in mooving up, I don’t really like the stress of big downswings (and don’t really need the extra money).

Anyway, I don’t have a lot time to play so the zoom format is great.

Objectives septembre :
- Play more than 35000 hands
- Winrate > 5bb/100
- Have fun playing !!

I will keep this blog updated, with maybe some hands from time to time.

September start ok :

Let’s crush ☺

Hey guys,

I have a lot of fun playing the 50 zoom format, I find the average regs pretty weak and leaked compared to some euro sites. I made a lot of mistakes (small tilt) though, I'll try to avoid them in the future.

I am still on the right track to validate my objectives for september !

Goodluck!

I'm on the same boat as u, just started grinding 50NL zoom. The player pool is kind of weak indeed, with a few exceptions. But on average there will be a lot of 1 tabling recs.

What country did you move to and is this your only job?

Yeah that's what I thought !
I mooved to Austria. I don't have a lot of expenses, so yeah for the moment that's my "part-time job". I finished my Master last year, and I am taking one or two years to just think about what I really do in my life. So this "low-variance" income is good, I have plenty of time to do other things than just being behind my computer all day

Today was a bit difficult at start (took a few bad beat and cooler ).

Not long ago (when i was playing my regular stacks nl100/200/400), as I know that my mental game is ****, I stop playing for the day. The good thing, about playing 2 or 3 stackes below usual, is I that I am way more detached from money than before, and I found myself able to continue my session when things start from the wrong foot.

              >> Hey Bonsaiooo, hum for the moment I prefer keeping it a secret. I'll maybe share if in a few weeks, if you guys still interested

              Hey guys,

I am not running super well right know, but nothing dramatic. I spewed at lest 3 stacks in the last 3days though, so I am not really happy with my game. I have to refocus, and start folding a bit more in some spot (where I think the average field of nl50 has no bluffs). I'll may post a few hands tomorrow to illustrate what I wanna say.

Not necessarily. He can take this line with 99, QQ+, (TT), KJ, AQ when he's betting for value so it's a spot he definitely needs to balance with some bluffs. Betting the flop is standard with his overcard and BD flush draw and he'll have plenty of turns he can barrel. Clear bet OTT although I'd prefer slightly smaller to have closer to a pot sized bet left behind for the river. When we take hero's line our range is really capped. We never have sets or straights except maybe KJss. AA and KK 3bet pre so our range OTR is pretty much Qx a few combos of 2p maybe. So having raised UTG and being against a thinking reg, I really like villains bet OTR. Although, as I mentioned, I'd have preferred a little smaller OTT to set up a better size OTR. Hero's range OTR is behind pretty much every hand that villain is betting for value and so it's a pretty good spot to fire a 3rd barrel with some of our bluffs and apply max pressure to a capped range.

If you had any notes on the guy or you know he's loose then I think our line's fine. Vs anyone else though it might be a bit loose calling down 3 streets. We pretty much have a bluff catcher OTR and with this line on this runout I don't see him having many bluffs. He has loads of hands he's betting for value and we expect him to check back turn either turn or river with all his pair type hands that we beat. I think his bluffs are limited to maybe AJs and Axss that doesn't also have a pair. So ye, player dependent for me but probably folding vs your average reg.

Apologies for the essay I was getting into that

I pretty much agree with the analysis of Flawz01.

Nevertheless I thought My hand was pretty sexy Bluffcatchers, blocking the nuts et no FD. Anyway I think It is easier to bluff catch this spot at this stack rather than nl400. People don't really value bet thin a lot of spot (at least with big sizing like in this spot).

                  quick update:

Running at 9,57bb/100 in ALL-EV, which is really surprising considering that I have the feeling of spewing a least one stack per day of grind

                    2) Vs "reg" unknown, snap shove turn. I didn't really see a value hand that would play this way (considering the snap) so I decided to be curious.

I think this board is a little bit more in ma favor, I have definitely more nuts than him. Furthermore I am quite happy If he folds 2 overs, type KQ or even AJ/AQ from time to time. I will ofc donk some value hands on the flop against specific profils

I don't think you should tag anyone with reggish stats as a reg, that 89s hand there's no way this guy is a reg.. Most likely a Chinese 4 tabler, regfish or semi fish.
