Not necessarily. He can take this line with 99, QQ+, (TT), KJ, AQ when he's betting for value so it's a spot he definitely needs to balance with some bluffs. Betting the flop is standard with his overcard and BD flush draw and he'll have plenty of turns he can barrel. Clear bet OTT although I'd prefer slightly smaller to have closer to a pot sized bet left behind for the river. When we take hero's line our range is really capped. We never have sets or straights except maybe KJss. AA and KK 3bet pre so our range OTR is pretty much Qx a few combos of 2p maybe. So having raised UTG and being against a thinking reg, I really like villains bet OTR. Although, as I mentioned, I'd have preferred a little smaller OTT to set up a better size OTR. Hero's range OTR is behind pretty much every hand that villain is betting for value and so it's a pretty good spot to fire a 3rd barrel with some of our bluffs and apply max pressure to a capped range.
If you had any notes on the guy or you know he's loose then I think our line's fine. Vs anyone else though it might be a bit loose calling down 3 streets. We pretty much have a bluff catcher OTR and with this line on this runout I don't see him having many bluffs. He has loads of hands he's betting for value and we expect him to check back turn either turn or river with all his pair type hands that we beat. I think his bluffs are limited to maybe AJs and Axss that doesn't also have a pair. So ye, player dependent for me but probably folding vs your average reg.
Apologies for the essay I was getting into that
