More correct... 4tabling rush easily gives you 1200 hands per hour...

I'm experiencing the exact same thing in RUSH right now. Really nice upswing and now I can't hold up to save my life. It's been hit-a-two-outter on Money week.

Played some poker again today, and again a losing session, but only half a buy-in

It took my winrate from a whooping 2.24 down to 1.35 bigbets/100 with a 17.5 BI downswing at nl100 Rush..The rest of the downswing is at nl50 (luckily)..Still, I am at

NL100 - 1.35
NL50 - 0.39

Especially the nl50 winrate is terrible imo..

It happens to everyone especially people who play Rush poker. Good Job you moved down in time or you could be stuck in 50nl and lower for a while. Im sure you can move up quickly anyways. Gl and i hope you crack this downswing, its happened to me a fews times so i know how it feels=/

Just dont lose confidence in your game thats my only advice if you dont know it already lol

Weeeeeeeeeee... Did very well in a tourney today, and boosted my bankroll with around 1500$..I can now jump back to 100NL, at least as long as the DS doesnt f it up..

i played last nite 1st 1000 hands my winrate is 18bb/100. next 1000 hands juz make my winrate to 6bb/100 for the total 2000 hands.. lol.. thats how high the variance is for rush and i guess is pretty normal?

Well. it's ridiculous to even talk about winrate over samples like that..1000 hands is 1hour of play for me..

ya 1k hands is like nothing in rush, barely an hour

Tried to play some 100NL rush again today, and lost another 4 BI's.. One was AA<AK allin pre, one set to straight draw with two overs and one overpair w/ FD against made flush.. Great!

Downswing now 31.64 BI's..

pardon me for my noobish post of 1khands earlier on... So, normally one session of yours is how many hands or hours?

you asking this question most likely means that you are a losing player, so the fact you are winning is just variance

the length of one session is irrelevant with regards to variance (if thats where youre going with your question). a winning player can lose over many thousands of hands. to get a pretty good estimate about your winrate you should play about 100.000 hands (during similar conditions, i.e. same limit, same site, same style of play etc)

And again, I think I just proved that even 100k hands is to small. I was at 2.26ptbb/100 around 150k hands and suddenly now Im at 1.35 after 200k..

Depending, but one hour is normally 1200 hands (4 tables of rush).. I have however played 6 and 8 tables..8 tables gave me about 1800/hour..

Finally had a winning session of about 1.5 Buyins, but then in my last 2 hands JJ lost to AJ on KQJ and QQ lost allin pre to 54s.. So total of 30$ in my session today.. Thats change at least

If you throw a coin 10 million times, it probably won't be a 50.00% / 50.00% but more like 50.04% / 49.96%, variance is neverending

4 tables of nl100 and 4 tables of nl50, easy

Could easily be true.. What was your winrate after 100k hands?

What dont u play 100nl FR instead of 50 SH? I find it difficult to drop down limits whilst also playing a higher limit.... Like i play 50nl SH regularly but i'd prefer to play 50nl FR than 25nl SH.... Doesnt it distract/bother you?

I never play shorthanded, and if you are on a downswing or tilt or whatever, moving from SH to FR doesn't really help THAT much..
