Long time lurker who is fed up with his recent results and is taking action.

Here are my results for this year (all 100 zoom):




Given how much effort I'm putting into studying the game and trying to improve, when I look at this graph I find myself getting demotivated and frustrated.

It is the graph of the break-even/small losing rake back player I always swore I wouldn't become!!!!


Despite the negativity thus far, I truly do think that reaching 200z by the end of the year is possible. I have friends who crush 200z who can hopefully get me out of this rut and back to where I want to be!

This. You've put in the hard work already, it's failed. Switch to a game you can beat.

Your redline is losing at a quite high rate. Try dropping tables and being more aggressive postflop and fight more for the small pots.

I'm still beating this limit over a bigger sample, just a poor stretch due to playing too much B game/too many tables

Gonna try 2 tabling for a while. If I still can't win then I will of course move down!

I'm aggro preflop, but fighting for the small pots goes hand in hand with playing less tables, so hopefully it works!

Things were going so well

Feel really depressed about my results. Ran bad played worse in the last 2k hands. Was playing good running good before that.


I refuse to deposit!


May move down to 50z if this continues. On a positive note I think I have somewhat fixed my redline, just need to reign in the tilt issues and get back to beasting.

Best of luck, nice seeing improvements just need to stick with it and hopefully it will continue to turn around. Just need to try and either walk away when running bad or try to not let it effect your gameplay. I have had the same issue with run bad/play bad plenty of times and just always ends with negative results. Keep your head up and keep on grinding. Best of luck.

Man. You put in what, few hundred hours to be breakeven at z100?

You realise that if instead you had worked an normal job for a few hundred hours. You could in theory put all that money onto a REALLY solid coach. Like Ishter or whomever. And improve tenfolds and move up to where they respect yo raises. ( z200)
