I play nl 100 at the moment. In the future I played HU hypers but only 7$ and 15$; I was wining but not much, too big variance for me


Well start of the week wan not the best, I hit two stop loss. Specially on Wednesday I felt like I am in ring with Mike Tyson when you get on the ground in 3 seconds, I lost 5 BI in 500 hands but did not play bad, just variance. I can be happy still, I was stop loss for 13 playing days.

Otherwise nothing special, just grind and work on my game:

What a week, what a ride. Looks like that there are only two ways how the day roles off: I end up 6-8 BI or hit stop loss.

I have to figure it out why is it so, for now I think that there are two main reasons: my playing style and variance. I mean I hit stop loss on Wednesday and then lost two additional BI in just 500 hands. When I reviewed them, they were only coolers.

My playing style still base too much on cards. This has for consequence that my graphs are like heart beats. I wll have to improve this.

and now most important thing: I play bad. With this I mean that I play waaaaaaayyyyy worse than I know I could. When reviewing session and some hands I just say to myself: WTF were you thinking idiot. So there is no point in gaining knowledge if I don’t use it on the tables.

So I set myself one week goal: play my A game all the time. This must become habit, something that I will not even think about it.



Otherwise things are normal, I am moving stuff from my apartment to home. Weather is unbelievable bad, just rain and fog all the time….

Yesterday I pick up rifle, it was on repair cause it did not shoot accurate. Now it looks fine, still group of shoots is around 3 cm on 100 m, but with factory ammunition. hope I will have a bit of free time to reload my own amo and test it, cause only this way you can achieve best accuracy.

New week and a big change: finally sun! I mean what a huge change, general feeling is immediately much better.

Regarding the grind, I am improving every day, not a single one I play auto pilot. I have a huge positive feeling that this will lead to success, I haven’t been so comfortable playing for years and I play now almost every week around 40 hours, so even more that program demands.

Yesterday i had the best day since I started CFP. It is nice when you hit positive variance and I get a lot more motivation for further work and grind. Today was a free day and it went by like a blink of an eye.

Tomorrow I will go last time in my flat in Ljubljana. I will miss it, I loved the place, my place where I had peace. But life moves on and I cannot afford to live in past.

Yesterday:

I am last week end in my flat, so a ton of things to do. I have manage to do all of them so nothing will be left behind.



Poker is going ok, happy with my play, I would that my play has generally raised from C to very good B, and around 40% of the time my current A game. I tried two times 3 barl bluff and it did not work, people are just call to much, so back to normal game.

! I added 6 more BI on Sunday, so it truly was great end of the month.

This one did not start as well, I dig a nice hole but came out

I have changed one part of my game, coach said that I fold too much so I started to call more and of coarse overdo it and here it is hole. Well part of it was also variance, I hit my portion of it.

Update:



After monkey tilt Sunday things started to get better, at least in my head. Even at Sunday evening I started to fell better and I also have a sweet with Iron. Sweating somebody always helps me, ty Iron!. So after all I did not have a free Monday, I played as usually. Somewhere in the middle of the day I started to feel tilty again, but I managed to control it and at the end I had the same old good feeling about playing in the zone, like it was last wining weeks.



Today I have free day, I went to a hunt to the mountains, it was incredible beautifull, TY NATURE!

Hello everyone!

I am sooo happy and motivated!



I have finally discovered (at least hope so) how to motivate myself. Last days of previous week I was having huge problems about motivation, felt completely no will to play and study the game. This is a road to hell, since I was just randomly clicking when playing, posting mediocre hands on forums and also answers were not 100% the best.

Now I discovered ho w to motivate that and boy, results are soooo different!. I have no problems grinding till i am so tired that I don’t even see the cards and willing to discuss every single spot and hand!! I think this will lead to huge succes!!

Ok after bad day my best day so far in CFP was yesterday. I played more than 10 hours and my wish was to reach 1,5 K$. I was already at 1450 but then a few coolers happened and I lost a bit and since I was quite tired I decide to stop and continue today.

I hope it won’t be the same as last few times when immediately after upswing followed a free fall.

Hi,

I had a free day on Tuesday which came at really good time since I had quite enough of poker last days and hitting stop loss on Monday. Free day went by soo fast, need to buy some groceries, done some stuff in the house and then help my brother at lumbering trees in the wood.

I have even manage to go to hunt two times for one hour, joust to refresh my head. Otherwise I have another interesting hobby right now:

I put apples around 20m away from my house and then I put camera with moving control sensor which take pictures every time when something passes bye. Then I take a look which animals came to eat the apples.



I don’t like to watch graph and results, so I will not post them for now.

Update of the week:

Since Thursday things did not went very well. I started to run really bad, at least I think so: Not in all in spot, those are quite rare lately since bet sizing are quite small so 100 BB is quite deep stack and you need quite a lot of action to get the stacks in. Problems with run that I have lately is that a lot of strong hands on flop became quite weak on latter streets and other way around, my draws hits only 5%.

Most frustrating thing lately are 3B pots: it is absolutely insane. If I have AK, AQ etc flop is 789 fd nad if I have 89s flop is AKQ. Every time when I have big pairs there is A on flop and villain don’t fold, if it happens that I have an overpair they have set. It has really became paranoid and sure does influence my self confidence at the tables.

So I ma basically waiting for a better run and as always try to improve. I try to add some flop bluffs and it really works well, great that I have another weapon in my arsenal.

Things are not going well. Although I think I don’t play bad results re very bad, i even lost 500$ during coaching session 8-O

This week I take my cat to sterilization and boy what a ride it was. She is a wild farm cat, not a pussy When i took her into a car she started to get crazy and otherwise 30 min drive to the vet was long as hell. When surgery was done vet told that way back home should be better since she will be a bit dizzy from narcoses.

Well not in my case, as soon as she came into a car she started to get will and I decided to free her so she will at least walk in my car. Luckily we did not crash and now is everything OK and I think she forgive me at least half of it.

I finally had a better day with 1K$ winnings, thank god I needed that so much.

I am playing mixed right now, nl 100/200. And I am quite surprised how much better nl 200 regs are. I am at the same level as the other regs who play 100/200 but definitively a bit worse than regs who play nl 200 exclusively. When I was searching the lobby I saw that quite few of them play also higher so no wonder why they are better. I know for almost every nl 100 regs what mistakes does he makes or just wait that he make a random very bad play. On nl 200 I did not saw so far reg doing any single big mistake or bad play. So looks like I need to learn a lot to compete with them.

OK, Still nothing better, I am running, more like crawling like 80 year old grandpa.

But to keep my mind away from it I decided that I will focus this week more on reading the board, especially on latter streets, turn and river. I think this will help me with decisions on river, which might add another peace in the whole picture to became a better poker player.

Ok, so here is the report of very hard week.

It was incredible hard week to me, bad run and downswing has hurt me really hard. it was so hard that I did not know what to do anymore. Lastly on Sunday after lunch some weird pain stated in my chest and spread in stomach, it was like somebody inside me is squeezing my organs . Really horrible feeling and I was really scared, thought about going to a doctor. This agony lasted for around half an hour then it became better. My sister told me that I was maybe having an attack of panic, which is caused by too much stress.

Sunday and Monday grind went better and was finally able to win it back, so I am a small winner this month. I still haven’t figured out how strong variance can be, one day you think that you are master of this game, then you cannot win a hand for next 3 weeks.

Today i had a free day, took a rest I am very excited to get back at the tables.
